Is the QX55 worth the money?
No...hell no. Just get an Acura or Lexus (asian brand wise).
NO
HELL TF NO they should charge low $15,000 for this dumpster interior, exterior is gorgeous though . Nobody wants a 1990 interior vehicle for $60,000 WTF INFINITY this QX55 belongs to rental car fleets. If Infinity don’t redesign the interior of their vehicles and get rid of the CVT transmission they will be like Blackberry/LG Phone companies in the automotive industry
Is that a joke ? If it’s,is not funny 😄 😂😂😂😂. Hell this crap doesn’t worth the money 💴
Hell no! Exterior is nice for sure but interior is cheap ass Nissan product. Not worth 60Gs at all.
I love the exterior design, nailed it. Interior, meh. The powertrain is complete garbage. It needed the 300HP standard, with the 400HP optional. Drop the CVT (which everyone hates) and put a 8-9 speed in it. RWD/AWD. Great video!. Genesis is what Infiniti should have become.
Exactly right... It's a shame Infiniti spends so much time and money developing their SUVs that they forgot what made them great to begin with.
The powertrain can't be described as complete garbage. Not much difference between 300 and 268 hp. Infiniti could easily up the output, but I don't really think it would make a big difference in the buying decision. They don't position it as a performance vehicle.
Old school. Embrace change.
@@rcrinsea Change is hard. Status quo, easy.
I own it had it like 4-5 months now when you get used to the throttle input and you learn how to play with the throttle management this car is a beauty to own it really is perfect it has a few kinks that I hope they fix in the second generation but once you actually own the car and get used to it and learn the throttle response timing and how the CVT works it’s pretty fun to drive iv even found a way to make it ride like an automatic manual
Glad you enjoy the car and can speak from the perspective of an owner. Most of these car reviewers just run their mouths like a faucet. Most of them don't even own a car as nice.
@@TheLaw_11 It really is a beautiful car once you only it’s really just want to drive I’ve taken it to car meets I’ve done long road trips in it it’s not ever going to be a Mercedes or an Audi but it’s amazing in its own world.
Agree. I don't have any problem with it and was completely used to it as I had the same combo in an Altima.
you even can absolutely do some light to mid off roading in this thing, its truly fun and still no issues!
@@bvlog4857 Awesome that you have had no issues. No plans to go off road other than some sanded county roads for me, though. I like the higher ground clearance, though.
The problem with Infiniti is it has another competitor (Genesis) who’s shaking up the luxury car industry. Now Acura is also making a comeback. I am really rooting for Infiniti. I had a G35 awhile ago. I loved that car!
I really want to love this car because of the exterior but it's just falling behind 🤦♂️.. Great honest review as always Mike
I owned 2 Nissan CVTs. No issues as long as properly maintained. I do long drive to work. Very economical.
Infiniti needs a whole new team, they’ve let so many other brands pass them. This interior is trash. Camera looks like an iPhone 6s at best. Double screens looks like a 2016 Acura which isn’t bad, 6 years ago. At this price point I’d expect way more. Cool video by ACCELER8 as always tho!
Nissan is struggling to survive so it makes sense Infiniti has gone downhill now.
I had a chance to drive the car for 2 weeks. I like it, I just wish it has more power.
Swing and a miss. I had 3 straight Infiniti's (G37 IPL, QX50, Q50 Red Sport) after bad luck with the Germans. I was hoping the QX55 would be special, powerful, no CVT and with updated interior and tech. Decent looking but that's it. Bought a Genesis GV70 3.5 Sport Prestige and it's everything the QX55 should have been. Infiniti is losing ground globally, get out of the Nissan parts bin and build new, exciting vehicles, including EV's.
Genesis is very heavily in the Hyundai parts bin ha ha ha ha
Infiniti needs to update their interiors. The "Two Screen" looks very outdated.
Does the 2 screen set up also look outdated in the 2023 Lexus LX600? In the Maserati Grecale ? Or in the range Rover ?
Its very interesting to see how a company like Mazda who doesn't have a luxury arm like other economy brands is successful at transforming themselves into a more premium alternative. The Mazda 3 is one of the nicest cars around since its redesign and has proven to be a contender in many different categories. The fact that infinity created the QX55 with average specs for a luxury car company is a missed opportunity. Not saying its a horrible vehicle but I mean the fact that the infotainment is so outdated really says they need a huge interior design overhaul. When it comes to using cheaper materials from Nissan I've noticed a lot of that with some of the new Genesis models. I sat in the GV70 and noticed hard red plastic on the door arm rests. It may very well be the bottom trim that's like that but man, luxury should mean more premium materials lol
For the price it is horrible
@@kobbycrentsil2859 🤝 agreed
Just another warmed over brand with out dated technology being palmed off as something new. There is absolutely nothing appealing about the cheap looking thing. The interior is as cheap as you can get and there are no decent features to speak of. A Nissan Rogue has more appeal than this corn holer.
Dayum😩
My wife will gladly keep her Q5 for the same coin.. Styling level is the only thing it keeps up with....the rest looks cheap, sounds cheap when you shut the doors, interior looks cheap, and technology is 10 years behind..... Right on par, very typical of nissan and Infinity for the last 20 flippin years...they just dont get it.
Man I remember like 8 years ago I freakin loved the q50 and I just thought it was so nice and sporty and after a couple years it just started feeling outdated and now it still seems like the brand still stuck in the past and it’s such a shame. Now the qx60 I believe is the new redesigned suv and it’s nice but just doesn’t feel special enough like it should since it’s a luxury brand but to me feels like it’s the pathfinder.
So, I'm here cause of the little "comment" of Infinity, at Macan's 2022 review. Although I'm waiting for my new Macan, I still enjoyed Mike's review. This guy (Mike), has a very unique style to do review and with Ian's skills on camera (motion, colors and everything else), I will say for one more time, those guys have the best reviews on cars. Maybe not the most detailed like DeMuro's reviews, but they stick to the point and the detail someone need while searching for a car.
Mike, I love your videos dude!
PS: when a lady make $440.000 per year, I don't think they stick with a Macan of $70k-$80k....just wondering where did you got your stats :-)
Trying to understand why revamp the outside but not the inside? The qx60 got a revamp why not this?!!
Agree 100%, under a different brand, this would be a hot vehicle....well, form the outside
Comparing 0-16 to 15s is insane ,I had a little car with 3 cylinders 0.8 liter that took 15s to reach 60 miles/h .
Love this vehicle.
I'm really not a fan of this car. I'm eagerly awaiting a review of the bmw ix50 m sport model, I would appreciate your point of view more than any other reviewer. Please review it
You came to an Infiniti review clip because you want to see a bmw review? How clever. Applaud yourself. With that same " clever" logic, you should go to an Infiniti dealership and let them know you'd like to purchase the BMW ix50.
@@TheLaw_11 Am I missing something here or is someone being extra salty on a comment. I love this channel plus I'm subscribed, it won't hurt to suggest cars to a car reviewer bmw or otherwise
@@thapelomopalami8464 never salty over the opinions of others lol
almost $50k for a CVT
yikes
Korea is years ahead of Japan's display and interior design.
13:25 sums up the direction Infiniti is in right now.
Nissan/Infiniti problem is they are not focused. Their lineup for a while was too big to get one model right. They are stretched thin with ideas and just don't seem to get it. They can get the exterior design right, after that, it's all downhill.
The review starts off with wrong premise: This a new FX35. It was not designed to be such. Can't judge by that yardstick.
Portland, JAMAICA in The Building !!!!!!!!!!!
Hi ACCELER8 Can You make The 2022 Infiniti QX60 Pure Thank You You Are My Nice RUclips
We currently have the QX60 and are filming it!
@@ACCELER8TV Thank You
You need to use more hand moisturizer ;) Every time you your hands meet each other, I can hear it, they sound very dry.
Btw car by they way, I do not care it is a bit outdated tech wise.
The beast looks amazing
Hehe you need a better definition of a "beast"
@@kobbycrentsil2859 LOL. Ok, let's say the baby tiger looks good
Just because it looks luxurious doesn’t mean it is luxurious. Also that cvt is made by people who doesn’t enjoy driving a car
It’s not worth it cause it REQUIRES premium gas and you’ll void the warranty if you use regular. It’s the biggest scam in existence
HELL TF NO they should charge low $15,000 for this dumpster interior, exterior is gorgeous though . If Infinity don’t redesign the interior of their vehicles and get rid of the CVT transmission they will be like Blackberry/LG Phone companies in the automotive industry. This QX55 is not luxurious at all if it’s so
GV70 is a ULTRA MEGA luxurious SUV . Thats my opinion
A great opinion 👌 well said
I don't think this is a 1990 interior.... that's a stretch. A GV70 is made by a company that has had engine quality control issues (fires). Hyundai/Kia/Genesis all share parts.
Dated interior, lots of plastics. May sell well but not as well as manufacture anticipated.
The Qx50 is a better value all around. Qx55 without the 3.0t is a scam.
How do they put the VR 30 transversely in that? Are you an engineer? No you’re an idiot behind a keyboard.
I agree, The Mazda CX-5 is even better than this car in terms of interior quality and transmission. If u could compare this car with the CX-60, it would disgrace this car , that’s a real Luxury SUV.
Lay off the drugs.
@@TheLaw_11 i don do drugs I do facts
I still drive 14years old QX50, my V6 and transmission is much better than this. But I would like to get new exterior .
How do you know it’s much better? Did you drive it? Have you seen it in action?
Hyped me up for disappointment. Better luck next year Infiniti.
内饰还没rogue好看
Wow that was bad. That CVT UGH!! Exterior Doesn’t even illicit the same emotions or reactions I had with the fx35
Infiniti only exists in North America. Better off selling these products under the Nissan brand to improve its image as it's also struggling to stay relevant
unfortunately the Interior is not good enough for a 2022 luxury brand car.
I think the Genesis gv70 is more better ❤️
Infiniti is so far behind in the game it's just sad. Anyone who buys Infiniti is taking an L when there are much better options out there.
Like what? Genesis that will catch on fire. BMWs that are notorious for high cost of maintenance and breakdown after three years. Lexus? Sure definitely no complete euro trash not reliable. Armchair warriors like yourself couldn’t really afford a vehicle like this so why even complain about it
Thumbs up for the exterior but that interior is just too bland
First view!
Ohh yeah!!
That 4 cylinder and transmission trash
Hell nah
For the price I would get Genesis GV70. Total waste of money. No offense, but only fools would pay more than 60k for this piece of crap.
It’s sad , I can’t even compare it to GV70
Infiniti suck and i work at a Infiniti dealership
Yikes I was really considering this over an Audi🥴
It’s sad , I can’t even compare it to GV70
