This is an extraordinary ✨ painting that I have always admired. Thank you for your scholarly presentation Lara. Please continue to do more for our Art History education.
Will Lara Roney do more Art Talks? This is really good 😀
What a beautiful presentation! Would love to play a game of truth or fiction with you at the DIA when it reopens!
Lara, what a great discussion! Thank you! I would love if the DIA made available your “game” where a conservator offered on true fact and one made up fact and let us guess which was true. It could be a short video which we could access with a QR code or number to get to the “True or False” game! It would be like the “Eye Spy” for adults or members! Thanks again!
I always view this painting whenever I go to the DIA. The emboyder in the dress is amazing.
interesting, well presented and articulate talkabout a beautiful and emotionally touching piece. ..
