@@sambayer9271Claude doesn't really changed that much he goes from using teach as someone to achived is dream,to trusting him as a friend and his personality doesn't change that much especially compared to dimitri but i will admit golden deer does have a better final battle than blue lions (hegemon edelgard doesn't put a challenge and aside from the magical units with long reaching spells like bolt or meteor her units are very weak especially compared to when you battle her in golden deers,while in golden deers you have to beat a zombie version of the 10 elites which all put a challenge alongside a boss that as an insane reach with the power and accuracy to kill your units)

I don’t know if anyone else noticed this, but at the end of Crimson Flower, there are no lyrics. Edelgard has completed her goal, so everything that’s happened is in the past. Just a wonderful detail in the game that symbolizes so much.
Same. I enjoy replaying the game over and over, but the first time playing Three Houses just hits different especially since it was the first home console FE game in a long time, had full voice acting, and a very enjoyable cast of characters and story
It's weird I feel the opposite of fates where i desperately want a route where edel and dimitri both survive. I know it would hurt the impact their deaths have but dang it nintendo let them be happy in one route.
I understand your feels, and as an Azure Moon fanboy, seeing Dimitri and Edlegard together was what I wanted for him. However, the game’s main theme is war and how tragic it truly is. So I think the developers wanted to tell us that no matter how sweet a victory may be, wars never come without heartbreak.

Yo, how the actual hell did we go from the under-developed and simplistic world of Fateslandia to the intricate and diverse continent of Fodlan? Seriously, Three Houses blew me out of the water when I first played it over a year ago. I just finished my second run of Azure Moon and it really hit me just like it had when I first played the game. Echoes had restored my faith in the series after suffering through Fates, and Three Houses gives me hope for the future of the series.
Yeah the developers defenitly did it with this one. This game is simply amazing. The world building is so great and the characters are also more likable. The story was so great in my opinion. Some think it was mediocre, but honestly. It had a lot of plot holes and it was sometimes a bit cut. But the story defenitly achieved what it wanted to achieve, and that's what matters to me. If I wish for one improvement for the story next game, then it's defenitly the tides of war changing more. Sometimes it felt kinda dumb just winning everything match over and over in timeskip.
I like to think they succeeded in allowing Three Houses to do what Fates was unable to. Fates had great ideas that just weren't quite ready to see the light of day.

To this day, it is the only continent in the entire Fire Emblem series to remain nameless. We have Archanea, Valentia, Jugdral, Elibe, Magvel, Tellius, and Fódlan. Yet the continent that Fates takes place on is unnamed.
I will forever regret the day I said "Meh, I have no interests in this game". How damn wrong I was, how foolish of me. This game is the first one that made me shed a tear. Probably a hot take but this is the best Switch game I've ever played, its a memory I will never forget. Guess I like Fire Emblem now
I feel like Three Houses is something really special. We probably won't get anything like this again and I'm glad to be alive in a time where it's still here.

When I finished each route the first time, I always gave a big sigh when this song began. Each time brought a different feeling though. VW brought triumph, SS was relief, AM was a bittersweet joy (may have cried a little). And I start CF for the first time tomorrow.
Hits the hardest after Blue Lions imo. You and Dimitri go immediately from killing Edelgard to a quick epilogue and then this song. The wound is still fresh.
I just beat this game for the first time last night (I did Verdant Wind BTW) and honestly this song made me a bit emotional. This has quickly become one of my favorite games of all time, and I haven’t even seen every ending!
The Diva no you cant say she is justified. The whole point of the game is that no side is really in the roght nor wrong. I played CF and i still dont even agree with her. Its not like CF explains anything. She just marches across fodlan, not saying cf is bad tho. Really like the route. Please tell me, why is edelgard justified to do what she did? Is bloodshed really the only way? CF is made from edelgards persepctive. Rhea is a filthy beast that dictated fodlan for such a long time. And edelgard is there to ‘stop’ that. But honestly, CF made me understand rhea more than edelgard. I completely felt Rheas anger. And the yhing is. Edelgard and Rhea are actually kind of the same. They both stand alone (not litteraly), they use the power they were born with to use it for their ideals. And the most important, they both have dark secrets that they want to hide away. Edelgards pact woth the agarthans to achieve her goal can totally be seen as wrong. And she tries to get rid of them in the end, erasing them from her history. And the same goes for Rhea. She hides away the fact she rules over fodlan with a small group (nabateans) for sges. Completely holding everything in her grip. And the problem with edelgard and rhea are that they are a die hard utilist. They don’t care how to achieve their goal, hey just want to achieve it. Edelgard achieves her goal through her granted power and status. But the conflict is, Edelgard is actually kind of selfish. Edelgard is so blinded by her own ideals, that she completely forgets that her ideals are actually only good for herself. After all, if she conquers. Nothing really changes? She rules fodlan in the end. And wiped out the one she dispises. Because she cant see a future with her and Rhea agreeing with each other. And this is kinda the same as with seiros, Seiros also kills her enemy, because she wanted control over fodland herself. If you dive intocthese details, then ,at least i, you can conclude that litterwly no one is in the right. The fact that Edelgard can only triumph with amyr at her side, and the goddes at her side. Isn’t just ironic, i think this is actually a crucial detail in the whole story. Its a symbol that shows that sothis has all the influence over what happens in fodland.

Honestly this makes me feel empty but not in a bad way After I beat my first route (silver snow) I felt like I was missing something like i didn’t get to experience the fodlan I created but realized the game showed everything I needed to see.they give an explanation of what all your students continue to do you get your s support and the end cutscene gives closure.I know fire emblem games rarely get direct sequels but if one could three houses is that one.
I’d absolutely love a sequel but I question how it would work. It isn’t like the others where there was a defined protagonist who won at the end. To make a sequel to 3H, they’d either have to determine which of the routes was canon, or resume it with just Byleth after Edelgard, Dimitri or Claude have died off
I don’t like silver snow, is boring and the only piece of lore you get is right before the final battle, the other routes, especially blue lions are much better I think
I heard that they can’t do a sequel because they’d have to pick on route as a “true route”, which the game developer ppl don’t want, but people were saying that they could make a prequel, which I think could definitely work. There’s a lot of story and history to Fodlan preceding the events of the game that they could definitely delve into
The music is obviously gorgeous, but I like the lyrics of this song just as much. They really help nail a conclusive yet melancholic tone, even if some words don't match up with the melody as nicely as others. The sadness expressed in the song regarding Edlegards situation and how life at the monastery has long since passed almost feels like it does a better job at telling a story and capturing the character's feelings than some of the actual writing in the game.
I love the little details in this. For example, it talks about her feelings about the Blue Lions and Golden Deer paths, when she talks about blue moonlight reaching for her in the night and the winds gently carrying her away. She (for somewhat obvious reasons) prefers the ending where Fodlan is unified and ttsid are annihilated.

I just realized that this version has different lyrics than the one played in main menu after being afk. And it hits me even harder, so sad. She succeeded and spent her days with Byleth by her site but she had a shorter life span so it didn't last long and she passed away. "Don’t ever take Back your kind hand Lest precious love Slip away like time’s sand Only we will know All that was lost Scars that we can’t erase Show us life’s true cost" And this is what happens after you side with Rhea in Black Eagles route. Edelgard and Byleth had a deep relationship forming. They were already close friends. Byleth was the first person in Edelgard's life that she could trust her deepest secrets and speak her mind to. Someone that she could count on and someone she could look up to. She really craved a soulmate like that. And at the end of part one Byleth clearly is already more than a friend, yet in this scenario she didn't have the opportunity to tell that to him. And all El's deepest wishes (not connected to eliminating crest and her life's main goal) are being shattered. Yet she still loves Byleth. But she knows that one of them must die. There is just no other way. And it's so sad. I feel so bad for El in this route especially. Cause in Azure Moon and sth Wind she doesn't have that deep of relationship with Byleth. Yet in Black Eagles route they are really close to each other but if you choose Silver Snow it's pure pain for Edelgard and for me...

I just finished a play through Azure Moon a second time. I was so happy to get all the paired endings I wanted. I thought I was okay, but when the first note of the credits played I started to bawl my eyes out.
1st its was golden deer I kinda jammed to it for a while, 2nd was Church route I had a moment of silence and think the whole thing of what the song meant, 3rd was Blue lions I was signing to it and for a while tears were sheading none stop as I tried to keep signing it the tears were stronger and I stop to sit down and keep crying, I'm missing Black eagle route Idk what to expect
When the end credits started rolling, I immediately bursted into tears. This was a beautiful game, and honestly one of the best games I’ve ever played, let alone rpgs. I played the black eagles route, white cloud and silver moon, the story was truly beautiful and heartbreaking and every character and part of the story is so memorable. I cant wait for the next fire emblem game. 9.7/10
I played CF first and this killed me when I heard it in the VW (2nd route) credits, playing through lions at time of posting and I'm not looking forward to having my soul crushed again, and have it crushed again by going church route after lions.
Give credit to the singer weather she meant to or not you can really hear emotion in her voice which makes it even more heartbreaking as you play the other routes and learn more

Today, after a little over 4 years, I can say that I have finished Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Not counting the DLC (which I still need), it is one of the best games I have ever played.With a tragic but exciting story, endearing characters, an incredible soundtrack, etc. Still, it falls short of what this game represents. Thank you Intelligent Systems and Nintendo for such a great game!
400 hours and counting... I knew I would like it but this much? Only other games that came close to this are Persona 5 & the entire Mass Effect Trilogy.
All right I finished all three routes and the cindered shadows dlc what’s next? Huh? There’s a fourth route? Hell yeah! Edit: finished the fourth route, yeah this game is incredible
I think this hits hardest in the Silver snow ending (SPOILERS) because of just how many characters die in this route. All of the faction leaders are either dead or are missing so Byleth is kind of the only one left to lead Fodlan. It makes me think, yeah we defeated Those Who Slither in The Dark, but we cant bring back everything and everyone that they corrupted and destroyed (Edelgard is the biggest example). It is even more bittersweet compared to the other routes IMO.

Gosh. Looks like Edelgard can sing so good. Her voice sounds so nice and so beautiful. I really thought Sothis was the one who sings this, But after I heard that the voices of Sothis and Edelgard both sound different, You all were right because you all know that Edelgard was the one who sings the song: *The Edge of Dawn* in Fire Emblem - Three Houses. Anyways, I'm so proud of Edelgard for singing this with her beautiful voice.
I Picked Blue Lions first, it was truly Bittersweet at the end of it all, peace was achieved but the blood in my hands makes me wish things could've ended so much differently... But that's war, and all I have left is to live with the decisions I've made, truly one of the best games I have ever played, time to play the other routes.

My first playthru was crimson flower However I never heard edge of dawn before I chose her because I agreed with her more than the others And then I did a blue lions route and now I’m conflicted and this hit like a bus
No matter which path you choose, Edelgard still suffers and it makes me realize that the only path that I can fully say is my canon is the one where you side with her. Rhea's obsession ruined so many lives other than Edelgard's, but Edelgard's fate is always so tragic....
1 thing that fire emblem three houses did right was character development in past game you the characters that were vital to the story and the stale side characters in this game the students of Garreg mach have personality when i lost a character in this game i felt bad that I let them die these guys are fleshed out and I love it.
Where did this idea come from. Nintendo didn't want any route to be canon, they disliked the fact people saw Revelations as canon in Fates so this was built from the ground up to have them all be equal

I weakened him with apocalyptic flame (Hilda's crest kept her alive) then my Lysithea used Luna to finish him off from half hp. No one died.

Same. I enjoy replaying the game over and over, but the first time playing Three Houses just hits different especially since it was the first home console FE game in a long time, had full voice acting, and a very enjoyable cast of characters and story

It's weird I feel the opposite of fates where i desperately want a route where edel and dimitri both survive. I know it would hurt the impact their deaths have but dang it nintendo let them be happy in one route.
It kinda reminds me to a Shakespearian tragedy, Dimitri himself say it, a sweet memory, with a bitter end
I understand your feels, and as an Azure Moon fanboy, seeing Dimitri and Edlegard together was what I wanted for him. However, the game’s main theme is war and how tragic it truly is. So I think the developers wanted to tell us that no matter how sweet a victory may be, wars never come without heartbreak.
It's because Dimitri and edelgard are great characters while the fates characters are boring so have a tragic story will make them less boring

Yo, how the actual hell did we go from the under-developed and simplistic world of Fateslandia to the intricate and diverse continent of Fodlan? Seriously, Three Houses blew me out of the water when I first played it over a year ago. I just finished my second run of Azure Moon and it really hit me just like it had when I first played the game. Echoes had restored my faith in the series after suffering through Fates, and Three Houses gives me hope for the future of the series.
Yeah the developers defenitly did it with this one. This game is simply amazing. The world building is so great and the characters are also more likable. The story was so great in my opinion. Some think it was mediocre, but honestly. It had a lot of plot holes and it was sometimes a bit cut. But the story defenitly achieved what it wanted to achieve, and that's what matters to me. If I wish for one improvement for the story next game, then it's defenitly the tides of war changing more. Sometimes it felt kinda dumb just winning everything match over and over in timeskip.
I like to think they succeeded in allowing Three Houses to do what Fates was unable to. Fates had great ideas that just weren't quite ready to see the light of day.

I will forever regret the day I said "Meh, I have no interests in this game". How damn wrong I was, how foolish of me. This game is the first one that made me shed a tear. Probably a hot take but this is the best Switch game I've ever played, its a memory I will never forget. Guess I like Fire Emblem now

When I finished each route the first time, I always gave a big sigh when this song began. Each time brought a different feeling though. VW brought triumph, SS was relief, AM was a bittersweet joy (may have cried a little). And I start CF for the first time tomorrow.
Hits the hardest after Blue Lions imo. You and Dimitri go immediately from killing Edelgard to a quick epilogue and then this song. The wound is still fresh.

I just beat this game for the first time last night (I did Verdant Wind BTW) and honestly this song made me a bit emotional. This has quickly become one of my favorite games of all time, and I haven’t even seen every ending!

The Diva no you cant say she is justified. The whole point of the game is that no side is really in the roght nor wrong. I played CF and i still dont even agree with her. Its not like CF explains anything. She just marches across fodlan, not saying cf is bad tho. Really like the route. Please tell me, why is edelgard justified to do what she did? Is bloodshed really the only way? CF is made from edelgards persepctive. Rhea is a filthy beast that dictated fodlan for such a long time. And edelgard is there to ‘stop’ that. But honestly, CF made me understand rhea more than edelgard. I completely felt Rheas anger. And the yhing is. Edelgard and Rhea are actually kind of the same. They both stand alone (not litteraly), they use the power they were born with to use it for their ideals. And the most important, they both have dark secrets that they want to hide away. Edelgards pact woth the agarthans to achieve her goal can totally be seen as wrong. And she tries to get rid of them in the end, erasing them from her history. And the same goes for Rhea. She hides away the fact she rules over fodlan with a small group (nabateans) for sges. Completely holding everything in her grip. And the problem with edelgard and rhea are that they are a die hard utilist. They don’t care how to achieve their goal, hey just want to achieve it. Edelgard achieves her goal through her granted power and status. But the conflict is, Edelgard is actually kind of selfish. Edelgard is so blinded by her own ideals, that she completely forgets that her ideals are actually only good for herself. After all, if she conquers. Nothing really changes? She rules fodlan in the end. And wiped out the one she dispises. Because she cant see a future with her and Rhea agreeing with each other. And this is kinda the same as with seiros, Seiros also kills her enemy, because she wanted control over fodland herself. If you dive intocthese details, then ,at least i, you can conclude that litterwly no one is in the right. The fact that Edelgard can only triumph with amyr at her side, and the goddes at her side. Isn’t just ironic, i think this is actually a crucial detail in the whole story. Its a symbol that shows that sothis has all the influence over what happens in fodland.

This song ties up the emotion of hours of story and grinding battles in the most perfect way I have seen in a game
Honestly this makes me feel empty but not in a bad way
After I beat my first route (silver snow) I felt like I was missing something like i didn’t get to experience the fodlan I created but realized the game showed everything I needed to see.they give an explanation of what all your students continue to do you get your s support and the end cutscene gives closure.I know fire emblem games rarely get direct sequels but if one could three houses is that one.
I’d absolutely love a sequel but I question how it would work. It isn’t like the others where there was a defined protagonist who won at the end. To make a sequel to 3H, they’d either have to determine which of the routes was canon, or resume it with just Byleth after Edelgard, Dimitri or Claude have died off

I don’t like silver snow, is boring and the only piece of lore you get is right before the final battle, the other routes, especially blue lions are much better I think
I heard that they can’t do a sequel because they’d have to pick on route as a “true route”, which the game developer ppl don’t want, but people were saying that they could make a prequel, which I think could definitely work. There’s a lot of story and history to Fodlan preceding the events of the game that they could definitely delve into

The producer of this song is extremely talented. The amount of creativity in the composition and the professionalism of the tracks production 😍😍
The music is obviously gorgeous, but I like the lyrics of this song just as much. They really help nail a conclusive yet melancholic tone, even if some words don't match up with the melody as nicely as others. The sadness expressed in the song regarding Edlegards situation and how life at the monastery has long since passed almost feels like it does a better job at telling a story and capturing the character's feelings than some of the actual writing in the game.
I love the little details in this. For example, it talks about her feelings about the Blue Lions and Golden Deer paths, when she talks about blue moonlight reaching for her in the night and the winds gently carrying her away. She (for somewhat obvious reasons) prefers the ending where Fodlan is unified and ttsid are annihilated.

Here is what happens with El after Crimson Flower I think. She succeeded and spent her days with Byleth by her site but she had a shorter life span so it didn't last long and she passed away.

And this is what happens after you side with Rhea in Black Eagles route. Edelgard and Byleth had a deep relationship forming. They were already close friends. Byleth was the first person in Edelgard's life that she could trust her deepest secrets and speak her mind to. Someone that she could count on and someone she could look up to. She really craved a soulmate like that. And at the end of part one Byleth clearly is already more than a friend, yet in this scenario she didn't have the opportunity to tell that to him. And all El's deepest wishes (not connected to eliminating crest and her life's main goal) are being shattered. Yet she still loves Byleth. But she knows that one of them must die. There is just no other way. And it's so sad. I feel so bad for El in this route especially. Cause in Azure Moon and sth Wind she doesn't have that deep of relationship with Byleth. Yet in Black Eagles route they are really close to each other but if you choose Silver Snow it's pure pain for Edelgard and for me...

In my story, It was Byleth and Annette and Dimitri and Marianne, their endings are so wholesome and sweet.
I just finished a play through Azure Moon a second time. I was so happy to get all the paired endings I wanted. I thought I was okay, but when the first note of the credits played I started to bawl my eyes out.

Wow, this game is such a masterpiece. Despite its flaws, it is greater than the sum of its parts. And the soundtrack is out of this world...
1st its was golden deer I kinda jammed to it for a while, 2nd was Church route I had a moment of silence and think the whole thing of what the song meant, 3rd was Blue lions I was signing to it and for a while tears were sheading none stop as I tried to keep signing it the tears were stronger and I stop to sit down and keep crying, I'm missing Black eagle route Idk what to expect

I did the same thing! In every playthrough I used Sylvain except Crimson Flower and when I killed him I was heartbroken
Just finished my first play through of the game I chose the BL and damn the ending was sad
When the end credits started rolling, I immediately bursted into tears.
This was a beautiful game, and honestly one of the best games I’ve ever played, let alone rpgs.
I played the black eagles route, white cloud and silver moon, the story was truly beautiful and heartbreaking and every character and part of the story is so memorable.
I cant wait for the next fire emblem game.

I played CF first and this killed me when I heard it in the VW (2nd route) credits, playing through lions at time of posting and I'm not looking forward to having my soul crushed again, and have it crushed again by going church route after lions.

Today, after a little over 4 years, I can say that I have finished Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Not counting the DLC (which I still need), it is one of the best games I have ever played.With a tragic but exciting story, endearing characters, an incredible soundtrack, etc.
Still, it falls short of what this game represents. Thank you Intelligent Systems and Nintendo for such a great game!

I think this hits hardest in the Silver snow ending (SPOILERS) because of just how many characters die in this route. All of the faction leaders are either dead or are missing so Byleth is kind of the only one left to lead Fodlan. It makes me think, yeah we defeated Those Who Slither in The Dark, but we cant bring back everything and everyone that they corrupted and destroyed (Edelgard is the biggest example). It is even more bittersweet compared to the other routes IMO.
Rhea dying in byleth arms was really painful because in a away it’s as though byleth lost another family

This game has one of the most kickass soundtracks I’ve ever heard, and yet most of it is rehashed and remixed versions of Edge of Dawn
Gosh. Looks like Edelgard can sing so good. Her voice sounds so nice and so beautiful. I really thought Sothis was the one who sings this, But after I heard that the voices of Sothis and Edelgard both sound different, You all were right because you all know that Edelgard was the one who sings the song: *The Edge of Dawn* in Fire Emblem - Three Houses. Anyways, I'm so proud of Edelgard for singing this with her beautiful voice.
After marrying Edelgard on the first playthrough, this hits so hard after playing Blue Lions.

I Picked Blue Lions first, it was truly Bittersweet at the end of it all, peace was achieved but the blood in my hands makes me wish things could've ended so much differently... But that's war, and all I have left is to live with the decisions I've made, truly one of the best games I have ever played, time to play the other routes.

1 thing that fire emblem three houses did right was character development in past game you the characters that were vital to the story and the stale side characters in this game the students of Garreg mach have personality when i lost a character in this game i felt bad that I let them die these guys are fleshed out and I love it.

Where did this idea come from.
Nintendo didn't want any route to be canon, they disliked the fact people saw Revelations as canon in Fates so this was built from the ground up to have them all be equal
