Thank you for the question! Asiatic/horse bows are my favourite. The usual way to shoot this type of bow is by using a thumb release. I used to use Slavic draw but I feel a have more control and cleaner release with the thumb release. Also it was a bit painful using the Slavic draw. The other reason is I can't imagine me shooting with an arrow on the other side of the bow like it is with the Mediterranean release. For me personally this shooting style( Mediterranean release) feels quite "stiff/"rigid". Also using the Mediterranean draw is a bit more dangerous when it comes to arrow breaking during release.
