What is the poundage of this bow?
@@ynk_8 38lbs at 28". Max draw of 32". It is probably around 48lbs at 32"
Very nice! I use some blunt arrowheads to shoot indoor as well.
@@ynk_8 Thank you!. We have to be careful indoor. 👍
I noticed you leave your index finger sticking out. Does that interfere with your arrow flight at all? Can you feel the feathers hitting it? Take care and God bless.
With my index finger like this it is easier for me to do Khatra. Holding it like this it doesn't affect the arrow flight and the arrow doesn't touch it because.when the feathers are approaching my finger it is already out of the path of the arrow because of the Khatra execution. God bless!
@ That makes sense 👍🏼 🙏🏼
Very clever and practical idea 🏹
Thanks mate!! It works really well.
Very cool 👍🏼 👍🏼 🙏🏼
Thank you!
Why not wood arrows? Its a shame to shoot a tatar bow or any Reiterbogen with a carbon arrow.
At the time I was saving my wooden arrows for a competition which I didn't go to anyway. If you have a look at my new videos I shoot mostly wooden arrows now. You are right - shooting wooden arrows is the best feeling.
I made a similar one with X-Bolts as a Batterie. video soon come.
Can't wait to see it! 💪
Yep, I like that variation. It's a lot of quiver for such a small device. Good job!
It's not the best but it is just fine. Thank you!
It's a neat idea but it does look a bit clumsy when picking arrows out of the quiver as you cannot grasp the arrow by the nock. Instead, you have to grab it at the pointy end, which requires a bit of a fumble to get your hand to the nock before you can offer it up to the bow. If it was possible to have the quiver at the knee, it would obviate this problem but it would make walking a bit clumsy.
Yes, you are right. It is ok when picking up the arrows the way I did but it is not perfect. There is another solution to the issue you mentioned using my current setup and it is if you have the quiver on your front/left part of the belt just above your left thigh provided you are shooting with your right hand. This way you grab the arrow straight by the nock and the path your hand travels before knocking the arrow is quite minimal. It works quite well and it is fast - I just tried it. Will do a short video demonstrating what I mean soon. Thank you for the comment! 🙏
@@Slingshotsbowsandknifes-tm4ev That sounds like an excellent solution! I look forward to seeing the video.
nice, but as far as I know Chinese archery for example, both hands should extend apart simultaneously, but here I can see that your front arm is static, and the rear arm is active. I am not a big expert though, just a beginner.
Thank you! To be honest I am not trying to do Chinese archery. The way I shoot is what I feel comfortable with. Also I am subscribed to Armin's Patreon so he gives me advice when I send him a video. I am a beginner too :).
ace just keep keeping on mate
Thank you!! You too! 🏹💪💪
Nice little work out 👊🏼 looks like that quiver is working out well. God bless.
Thank you!! Yes it works. I am planning to make a compact one soon - one that holds up to 10-12 arrows.
Excellent Bro. Enjoy Autumn. ❤
Thank you Bro!! You too enjoy this beautiful season!
I say it looks like it turned out really nice 👍🏼 Good shooting. God bless.

Классный лук где взял
www.thelongbowshop.com/products/atilla-mongolian-laminate-horsebow Да, лук очень хороший.
Почему лук называется татарским?
Потому что татары использовали этот дизайн.
how can you shoot off an arow without an arm guard and how good is it over 50 yards
I don't need an arm guard with the style of shooting I do ( thumb draw with the arrow on the other side of the bow). If you have a good form you will never get a string slap. I have never tried it at 50 yards but in general the Tatar design is super efficient.
Awesome 😎
Thank you!
Nice idea for the quiver 🏹
Thank you! 🙏
Смотри как он стреляет ruclips.net/video/Fn7YNZscmTk/видео.html

Good shots! I like that area. Is that your backyard, or a public place?
Thank you! I am trying to hit the target while still trying to keep a good form. This is my backyard. :) I was born in north of Bulgaria but we have a house in the mountains where I am at the moment. What part of Romania are you from?
So you grew up close to the Danube somewhere 🙂. That is what I was expecting, based on the slingshot model. I'm currently in the capital of Romania, but I grew up in Călăraşi.
@@TheUnseenPath-X Yes the town I grew up in is 30 km the Danube river. 🙂 Călăraşi.is close to the Danube too. It looks like the barehand slingshot was used in these areas.

I heard somewhere that carbon is not the best material for a bow, fiberglass is heavier, but with it the bows are faster, carbon is not bad if you do not make a bow entirely from it, if you add something that works on compression, for example wood, the result will be better
Thanks. The bow performs amazing! It is very efficient. Also the draw is super smooth. Armin Hirmer has done a lot of reviews of full carbon Grozer bows. Btw the bow is not only carbon - belly and back are carbon but the core is wood.
@@Slingshotsbowsandknifes-tm4ev What speed does it give? And what is the weight of the arrows?
@@hibahprice6887 I haven't tested it. You can have a look at this review: ruclips.net/video/qBNYybLKLP0/видео.html It is not about a Tatar bow but it will give you an idea.
Its not true, carbos as its light IS the BEST material VS draw weight. No wooden or fibrrglss can surpass it
@@alexyatsyuk70 Yes, I have heard a lot of experts saying the same thing. My Tatar bow is 370 grams I think.
I would say you need to work on consistency in your stance and foot position
Spot on! You are absolutely right. I need to work on my stance, foot position and also on my rhythm. I don't have the muscle memory yet. Will work on that. Thank you!
good work, keep going

Хайде, дано оцелиш някой комар :D! Looking good, Vladi :)
Хахахахахахахаха. Може и да съм утепал някой депресиран комар.
Why did you choose the ring shooting technique rather than the three-finger shooting technique?
Thank you for the question! Asiatic/horse bows are my favourite. The usual way to shoot this type of bow is by using a thumb release. I used to use Slavic draw but I feel a have more control and cleaner release with the thumb release. Also it was a bit painful using the Slavic draw. The other reason is I can't imagine me shooting with an arrow on the other side of the bow like it is with the Mediterranean release. For me personally this shooting style( Mediterranean release) feels quite "stiff/"rigid". Also using the Mediterranean draw is a bit more dangerous when it comes to arrow breaking during release.
@@Slingshotsbowsandknifes-tm4ev Do you aim or shoot instinctively?
@@DADhit88 Instinctively
Hello! Why do you change hands when shooting? Maybe if you shoot in the same style, you can progress faster. What is your goal when changing hands? I'm not criticizing, I'm just curious :)
Yes, you are absolutely right. If I shoot only with one of my hand I will progress faster. Here are my thought on shooting ambidextrously: Shooting with both hands has many advantages: 1. You develop the muscles responsible for shooting a bow the same way on both sides of your body - your body musculature is more balanced. 2. You get less injuries because you body musculature is more balanced. 3. Even if you get injured your are probably going to be able to shoot. I can attest to that because it happened to me. My left shoulder got a mild injury but I was still able to shoot my bow with my other hand. Luckily the injury went away quite quickly. 4. It is proven that doing the same stuff with both hands is good for brain development. Even when I do some sort of physical work I try to switch hands when possible. For me archery is a lot more than just hitting the bullseye. I hope I have answered your question. Thank you for asking. p.s. In ancient times it was very beneficial for the horse archers to shoot with both hands. Have a look at this one: ruclips.net/user/shortsjsgo9RTiHS4
@@Slingshotsbowsandknifes-tm4ev Logically. I also shoot both left-handed and right-handed for harmonious development... It was just interesting to know your motives. Thanks! Moreover, as a right-handed person, I shoot with a ring, and as a left-handed person with three fingers... That's my thing :)
@@DADhit88 That's great to hear! so you basically have your arrow always on the same side of the bow.
Nice bow! What is the draw weight of your bow and what is the weight of the arrows? Also, what is the spine of the arrows? I'm an archer too, so it's interesting.
Спасибо! Full Carbon Tatar Bow by Grozer. Draw weight - 38lbs at 28". Arrows around 550 grain. Not sure about the spine. With Asiatic archery the spine doesn't matter that much.
i refuse to use wooden arrows now. So many factors make them far less superior to carbon imo. Breaking easier being the main reason........ Great vid and nice bow too
Thank you! Absolutely. I have to be really carefull with the wooden arrows I have. I don't know what kind of wood they are made of but they look and feel fragile. I have seen a lot of people shoot bamboo arrows. The maybe more durable... cedar too.
