Side view form check up
@KTBIOM with his latest post ruclips.net/user/shortsjmHwNQmMzbw reminded me that filming self from the side is a very good form check up...
Apart from everything else I see my release is quite snappy. Will have to fix this...

clean release! if it is the release you want to improve, you could turn your bow arm clockwise a bit, that usually helps with release!
Yes 💯My release is quite snappy... Do you mean to tilt the bow clockwise ? Thank you very much!!🙏
Beautyful Paradose and drywall😊
Thank you Martin! 🙏🙂
That index finger (from the bow hand) was the secret! In the (brief) period when I shot korean I was holding the bow with the full hand, like a hammer, instead of folding that index finger so I can have a consistent fulcrum on the thumb for the arrow. Now I see! 😁
Yes most KT archers(like above 90%) do it this way. But I have see in very rear instances when some of them use all 4 fingers. Thank you! :)
Form looks really good and consistent from my perspective 🔥 How about yourself how did you view your form on this video?
Thank you brother! I just added a comment in the description..😀. My release feels snappy. It is lacky smoothness...
@Slingshotsbowsandknifes-tm4ev Ah okay I see the comment how would you improve that smoothness with your release?
Also I have to angle the bow along the X axis a bit more... Thank you! 🙏🙂
Whats your nocking point like? You shouldn't feel the arrows at all. No contact.
Oh and great shooting. You have found your way with this bow.
Oh just seen session 3. Yes. Try the balancing technique to find the nock point.
@@KTBIOM Yes. I should install a nocking point. Thank you!
Bow looks great and it shoots with well over 200 feet per second. If your bow is 50# at 31", how much less pound is it at 28"? 😮
To be honest I think it is 50# at 28". I have Grozer Tatar - it is 38# at 28" and to be honest it pull a lot easier. It is crazy fast, yes. I love it!
@Slingshotsbowsandknifes-tm4ev i like how ktb looks and i love the its fps but i know that poundage with kaya bows is always at 31". 👍
I now but it feels heavier than 50# at 31" . I guess I will have to buy a scale in order to be sure about the real poundage.
@Slingshotsbowsandknifes-tm4ev 👍 i got a scale from a fishing shop for 7€.

Those bows look amazing 🔥
Thank you!!!!🙏🙂
Dont worry, i spend you a new one ;)
Hahaha. Thanks Martin!! The arrows are great. I will be ordering more at some point...
Happy New Year and Happy New Snow with a Happy New Bow
Happy New Year and thank you!!!🙏🙏🙂🙂
The modified TATAR looks fantastic. Hey Brother nice shooting and awesome shots Well done. 👊😀🙏🏹✨️
Thank you Brother!🙏 I appreciate it!!!Yes it works really well!!🏹💪
Very good video my friend, greetings from hungary, Grozer is a very good bow maker, peace bro, god bless you!!!!
Thank you!!🙏 Yes Grozer is amazing!! I love my Tatar bow! There so many great bowers from Hungary! !🏹💪
Korean Pistol Grip is highly blessed.
Haha. Yes Martin it is. It is so comfortable...
Nice job on that grip. Looks really comfortable and full control.
Thank you! Yes is it just perfect... Btw I tried the string of my Kaya on my Tatar bow and it looks amazingly similar to a Korean bow..
It is sad every time a arrow gets broken but it shows your skill to be able to do that too
Thanks Brother!! I wish I could do that in purpose. :))) At least I can use the fletching and arrow point...
I started using pin nocks for this reason.
Good idea. Thank you! These arrows are great but they are meant for speed shooting. I should change the knocks...
... the nocks.
@@Slingshotsbowsandknifes-tm4ev yeah speed nocks are especially large and attract arrows. Same with Bamboo.
Yes that's right . I have never had bamboo arrows btw. They look beautiful...
Looks like you are getting on pretty well with the bow. 👍🏼 🙏🏼
Thank you🙏. I am trying. The bow is great!
Nice shooting. The arrows look well matched. What arrows are you using (length, weight spine)?
Than you! The wooden ones are around 550grain, 400 spine and 31.5" long. The black carbon ones are 550grain, 300 spine and 31" long . The red carbon ones are around 500grain, maybe 300 spine and 33.6" long
@Slingshotsbowsandknifes-tm4ev Thanks. Yeah. 300 spine work well.
@@KTBIOM Yes, and I prefer to shoot heavier arrows for some reason.
Brother you are a awesome archer. My Respects 🙏🙂
Thank you Meguel(Mr Presision) 😃🙏 !! You too are an amazing archer!!! 🏹💪
Hard work!😮
Yes but still super enjoyable! Thank you! 🙏
Why do you switch hands? It seems like an amazing ideea for a new challenge! I never thought of doing that, but for sure I will do it now! I'm right-handed but left eye dominant. 😁
In Asiatic archery it was common archers to be ambidextrous especially amongst the horse riders. You cover wider angle if you can shoot with both hands. Also in Asiatic archery there is no such thing like dominant eye. You shoot with both eyes open and you don't aim in the general sense. The whole process is very intuitive. As you can see I am using a thumb draw and my arrow is on the opposite side of the bow compared to when Mediterranean draw is used.
Amazing! Congratulations! And greetings from a neighboring archer from Romania! 💪🏹🍻 Can you please detail the Korean draw? I shot thumb draw with a Nomad Black Shadow before but i didn't know there is a specific "Korean draw". A link or a tutorial would be much appreciated! With respect! 🙏
Thank you! Great to hear from a Romanian neighbour!! :) I am a beginner so I avoid giving advice for the time being. I am sorry. Here are couple of great video on the topic: ruclips.net/video/IM5x2mQJvCw/видео.html ruclips.net/video/6hGigz2B6YA/видео.html 🙏
@Slingshotsbowsandknifes-tm4ev thank you! Where are you located? I live in Cernavoda city, but I I usually come to Bulgaria on the coast about every spring for the Easter holidays. Maybe this spring I will bring all my bows and we shoot some arrows together.
@@raducuflorin5234 As I can see Cernavoda is very close to the Bulgarian border. A lot of Romanian neighbours visit Bulgaria. This is very good! 👍👍 I live very close to the geographical canter of Bulgaria, near Gabrovo. I also live in the UK half of the year. Let me know when you come to Bulgaria and if I can join this will be great!! 💪💪😀
@Slingshotsbowsandknifes-tm4ev as I searched, Gabrovo is about 3 hours drive from Varna or Burgas or Sozopol, so that would be feasable. I will be there around April 20. We will keep in touch and I will tell you the exact date and location where I will be, because I didn't made the reservations yet. Cheers! And I really hope we will shoot some arrows together! 🤝🍻🏹
@@raducuflorin5234 That sounds great!! 🏹💪

Hoatzin feather flights
Oh my. When I saw the target start to tip forwards after arrow two, I instantly felt that sick feeling of watching my arrows snap. It's happened to me before but thankfully yours held up. That bow seems to shoot beautifully. Very quick and they seem to slap heard on impact.
Yes I had the same feeling. hahaha. Not good. I love my arrows! Yes the bow is a beautiful beast! :) Thank you!!
if you are in the UK in May I have organised a Asiatic archery course with Armin Hirmer coaching. you might be interested?

Congratulations. Its a beautiful bow. Hope you have a lot of fun with it. 👊🏹
Yes I fell in love with the bow and Korean archery in general. Thanks!
Wow. Those arrows hitting the target sound like rockets.
Yes, indeed! 😀 I love that sound! Thanks!
Aeesome Shotz . No break no Arrows 😊
Hey thanks Martin! The arrows I got from you are very sturdy💪💪🙂
That bow is a piece of art I've shot a Korean bow before and they are very nice to shoot and very smooth like you said 🔥 I've also experienced that the higher draw weight doesn't affect the body too much as opposed to other bows which I have no idea why till today
Thanks mate!!! 🙂🙏 Yes it is such a good bow! Btw I tried shooting my Tatar bot using the Korean technique and it works great!!!
Lovely New KTB in Kork. Great to see you with this Bow ❤❤❤ beautyfull Room, chilling Music, i like to spend some quality Archerytime with you 😊

Thank you🙏. Yes the bow looks beutiful and elegant...and it is a powehouse at the same time...

Don't worry too much about distance from the target. The Ottoman training method was to shoot thousands of arrows in torba practice, about the length of your arm and bow extended - 1.5-2 metres from the target. Try to put 3 arrows in a circle the size of a coin, arrows touching each other. When you have the opportunity to shoot longer distances your form will be good and you will adapt to longer distance shooting. Not everybody has a 145m Korean shooting range in their back yard!!
Thank you! Yes 145m is a serious distance.🙂 I have done some torba practice but I should do more as it is very relaxing and not as stresfull as like ahooting ffrom longer distance. 🙏👍
@@Slingshotsbowsandknifes-tm4ev 🤘😎
