Sandalwood needs a pet - the comforting hug interaction with cats & dogs is the fastest way to get over sad moodlets. You can also sometimes overpower the sad moodlets with inspired or energized ones.

for space, maybe you could build an underground tomb/crypt for all the deceased spouses? storyline-wise, as sandalwood starts believing he’s the cause of their deaths, he builds the crypt so he can mourn them but also not look suspicious with rows of graves on his lot 😂
The way hysteria and mortification deaths are so random is both funny and really frustrating. Sometimes the split second they feel one they die, and other times, like here, they just refuse to die.

You can get the graves of Sims when you host a funeral for them. It'll pop up in your inventory Edit: Also you can keep ghosts from fading by putting them in a played household (doesn't gotta be in world) so it won't cull them with the townies

The one time I had a sim die by mortification (accidentally) was when a teen came home from school with a mood swing already Mortified and then aged up into YA. He died immediately after aging up.
I don't know if somebody mentioned it already but you if you fish for a long time or do any other "mindful" activity you can surge an emotion of your choosing and "mortified" is one of them!
Use the surge emotion feature from snowy escape if you do yoga until you get the controlled emotions mood let then you can surge any emotion you want for a 12+ hr moodlet
When my sims drop their dirty dishes on the table when I tell them to clean up, I usually discover a plate or cup somewhere they cant "reach," like a half wall, or up on a high shelf. They just give up instead of cleaning. Relatable.

I'm pretty sure James' death just glitched. that's happened to me before. I was playing a household, and my main Sim just randomly glitched and died, was removed from my household, and just appeared as a ghost. that inspired me to get MCCC so that I could easily bring them back because that was *so* not my fault, lol also: I was screaming at you to just drink water from the sink! since he was an elder, his bladder would go down faster by drinking anything.
@@the_nikster1 I have a death glitch now where if a sim dies, they are still standing and appear alive unable to be reaped! But they’re dead and the game and other sims think they’re dead. It’s so freaking weird and creepy!
My guess is James needed one or two additional debuffs that weren't the same ones, so any other negative buffs would hopefully boost his embarrassment and keep it there, but yeah, it seems like Mortified is hard to die from unless your Sim is absolutely miserable. It's also possible the devs tweaked it over time because people complained about it happening too easily lol but I have no idea. I haven't finished yet and I clicked when the vid said 9 minutes old so I'm too early to see any useful comments and I haven't reached the point of his demise.

The best way of not being sad anymore for 2 days when someone dies it's just go to the mirror and say give yourself a pep talk until it goes away it takes a minute but it's a whole lot faster than 2 days. You need to do it about 48 times. For every time you do it takes off an hour
It happened to Kayla a few years ago; she didn't even see it until the camera auto jumped to the mortified sim dying of embarrassment, but what happened was that a _child_ walked in on a _Young Adult/Adult_ sim using the toilet
The emotion deaths, while such a fun idea, are so weird. Watching the struggle here reminded me of lilsimsie's sim in an earlier gen of her nightmare legacy dying after a brief flash of Hysterical. If it worked in a way that'd make sense, the emotion deaths would be great. Story of the Sims 4.

So a way I found you can obtain the urn or tombsome is by throwing a funeral. It will appear in your sims inventory once the event starts. Hope this helps.
Next time, you need an emotional death, if you can get the sim in a "controlled emotions" state by painting, reading, fishing, etc you can "surge emotion" and it lasts a long time
Suggestion: you have the option to remove 1 of the generated date activities that doesn’t make sense. Or if your wheel activity is a date activity you should be able to add it to the list of date activities.
If you get the travel by tunneling ability you could just leave the werewolf room locked and travel there when he's about to rampage. Might have to remove the floor for it to work.
The idea of so,done inviting you over at strange hours so they can ask woohoo questions, pee themselves in front of you, and walk in on you in the bathroom … all while their werewolf partner rages in the other room… it’s just… peak madness 😅

Singing Karaoke poorly could also have helped with this but the drinking of water or any other beverage does the same thing but no caffeine boost. Also just want to add, it only takes 4 clicks to use the map to get home but at least it's faster than watching your Sim walk around the entire world to go home. lol

Journaling is another good way of getting rid of the sadness mood

you just buy and place them with build and buy mode. then you can set a person you know who has died as that being their urn or tombstone.

As far as the 2 day sadness moodlet from losing a loved one, I believe the moodlet solver takes care of it for 500 satisfaction points 😂.
