Very useful video! I'm evaluating an integration between Gravity Forms and Clickup. I can't find information online about whether selecting different options in the form (with dependent dropdowns) would trigger different things on Clickup. For example, if in the dropdown I select X option, then the task in Clickup is assigned to a specific person, or tagged with a specific tag, or given a specific value in a custom field. Also, if doable, is the Zapier fee version enough to do that sort of integration between these two tools? Thanks so much!
It would definitely be doable with Zapier, but not on the free version. You'd need multi step Zaps to decide what to do in ClickUp based on what was selected in the form. However you could get tricky with Gravity Forms conditional webhooks, like "send this webhook to Zapier only when option xyz is selected". Then in Zapier it's just 2 steps - catch webhook and send to ClickUp.
@@_jimmyrose Hmm - I didn't think there was a major difference between CU forms and the others you mentioned. I thought that the CU forms would have been the best option if CU was the PM tool that was being used.
@@miliamarketing If you want tasks to be created in ClickUp from forms then it makes sense. Really depends on your process. ClickUp forms are pretty basic at the moment. Consider that these other tools have development teams behind JUST forms and making them as good as possible. ClickUp is working on many fronts
Do you know if it is possible to pull the "sharing URL" for the clickup folder or list and update the ActiveCampaign record? I do this step manually, but it would be awesome if I could do this automatically.
I'm not sure to be honest. You'd have to see if the share URL is returned in the Clickup action/trigger in Zapier. Could also be worth trying Make/Integromat as I've heard their ClickUp integration is deeper
@@_jimmyrose how is it only 50? I was thinking of using zapier for Asana and connect wise integration for projects (I hate the project section in CW) but if I will pay for every comment or new task in a project it will be very expensive.. But I guess for onbordering it makes sense...

Thank you for this. This helped me get so much clarity in implementing workflows and automation into my business.

Great video, this is exactly the information I was looking for! Thanks 👍
Happy to help. Thanks for dropping by!
I noticed you didn't mention Clickup forms as an alternative at the beginning around 3:30. Why?
I prefer tools that are best in class, vs ones that try to do everything

Is there a way to apply a list template to the list you created via zapier?
It's been a while, but I am pretty sure you can create a list from template in one action

Great video! Thank you
No probs! Thanks for dropping a comment in
Do something for bounced emails pls :)
What do you mean by that? An automation when you send an email and it bounces?
can you do similar vidoe but on how to "replicate" design pickle business model. thanks
This is good
It's great but zapier cost a fortune... You will pay for every Zap....
For $50 a month I save 150 hours worth of time. That's a very good investment
But if you want something cheaper try csnare.com/integromat

@@jaysam4411 the $50 plan allows for 2000 tasks. All of those are only 1 task
