    Awesome! Never thought to use a laminator. Yes the iron would never get all the edges 😁

    Thanks. Sept 2019, I have a mink machine, yes, I’ve used multi medium, mod Podge, iron technique, heat & bond to attach napkins, this way seems much easier, I’ll try it...

    This is a nice technique but it seemed like a step was not mentioned and that is burnishing the glitter with your finger to insure it is pressed into the tape or the stamp n bond. Otherwise some of the glitter falls off and makes a mess

    Great technique. What is the difference between the Minc & any other laminator.? I noticed you used a feeder ? I've never heard of a feeder before your video. Can you use the feeder with any other laminator?

    • @KarenHasheck
      @KarenHasheck  3 года назад

      The MINC gets much hotter than a laminator and so this technique works in a MINC but not a typical laminator. It also gets hotter faster and maintains it's heat so works better for foiling as well. The Minc comes with carriers that are clear thick acetate, but I have used parchment paper carriers in my laminator too and prefer that to just feeding through without any carrier.

    Did you cut the small accent butterflies out of napkin only ? Thx, enjoyed the video !

    • @KarenHasheck
      @KarenHasheck  4 года назад

      No, I attached another napkin just like I showed and then cut out the butterfly die and punched out the smaller butterflies. The napkin only would be too flimsy but the napkin attached to cardstock makes it sturdy enough to die cut or punch.

    If we don't have a minc and prefer not to use the older iron technique, is there a way to use a laminator? Maybe use glue instead of the cling wrap? What do you think? Love your napkin cards!

    • @KarenHasheck
      @KarenHasheck  6 лет назад +1

      I tried my laminators and could not get it to work. I would not recommend glue in a laminator. You could try searching napkin cards in RUclips and on line- I may have seen some others try glue instead of the cling wrap but just not in a laminator.

    I’ve just got a mini but can’t get the paper napkin and cling film to work Oct 2019 - I did use 5 for the heat. Any ideas as to what went wrong or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks

      @KarenHasheck  5 лет назад +1

      hmmm- not sure- maybe try letting it heat up a bit more? try a different cling wrap? run through several times? You did "skin" the napkin down to only one very thin almost see through layer, right? Good luck!
