Mickey Day really nailed the host (Rob Dyrdek) even down to the gestures.
Actually Rob Dyrdek is constantly rubbing the palms of his hands together, and Mikey Day didn't do that once.

Nah Rob’s demeanor is a lot more chill less trying to act cool and more relaxed skater stoner guy. His charm is based on his simplicity not ever really trying to be over the top.

I think it is a sad reality that a lot of people don't know about. I don't think I realized that was MTV's programming block until a year or so ago. But I haven't watched the channel in over ten years.
The crowd almost always disappoints at SNL
@@TheMaskedHero it’s insane how MTV transitioned from being all about music, to a mix of music and funny shows like Beavis and Butthead, Jackass, etc, to reality shows starting to take over, to such shows fully taking over, to just endless blocks of Ridiculousness, all over nearly 40 years. It really is sad what happened to something that was once great.

Honestly surprised that Jenna wasn't Chanel, they share some resemblance. But this parody was so spot-on, it almost becomes a real episode.

I've been watching since a kid in the 70's (yes I'm older,) and this is one of my all-time favorite sketches. So dark and hilarious. There's been ups and downs but I've always enjoyed the show. The last few years writing has really been great, though.

She’s a reallllly good actress. Even seasoned actors that have hosted in the past don’t handle brand new dialogue that well, without tripping up.
She said in one interview that she has a photographic memory and can memorize lines really quickly but she was likely just exaggerating, probably just has a good memory.
