that little mora (if thats what it is ) seems to be handling all you throw at it....looks decent for the price they go for..........also just a scratch that mate patched up worse with sparky's tape and finished the days work.....bit of ventilation round the 'ol cobblers never did no harm either🤣🤣🤣

Saws are out friends..... Damn Silky Saw jumped out of the groove and I dragged it across the first finger knuckle and sawed a groove in my hand. I've ventilated at least three pairs of pants with saws, one got a piece of my thigh too. But, hey, that's what they make first aid kits for!! I'll keep going out and I'll keep using them too. Disclaimer: I have invested in a few pairs of cut proof gloves. At my age, the blood really needs to stay on the inside as much as possible. Be careful with that Garberg, mine bit me pretty good once too!! - Great video Rob!! Always like to watch you enjoying the trips out.

Hey Rob - How's it going? I am a day late getting to watch this video, but glad I got around to seeing it. Hope that wound heals up quickly. You can always buy new pants, but you can never get a good deal on trying to buy a new finger/thumb. I am thinking winter is here to stay, you will be snow camping for the rest of the year. How about snow shoes to prevent post holing. I really wouldn't know I've never worn any, they just came to mind while I was listening to you speak about it.

I tried a tarp shelter last fall like that.. with a diagonally cut shower curtain on the front and long fire.....
also, i've felt that pain when cutting wood... I always wear gloves now cutting.. now matter how careful I am, I rap my knuckles on that last push... I bet it sucks more in the cold..

great camp. i tried that stand for the spirit burner and found it horrible. i use my ohuhu twig burner for my spirit burner and its great. also a back up i can use twig stoves

Hi mate! This is my 10x13 Tarp!
maybe fire put too far from tarp ( always measure 1 stride away ) use gloves and some kind of sawhorse or something no laughing matter in woods by yourself here no mistakes are forgiven keep it simple and 'true and tested' and maybe no flashlight? ...always carry at least 1 flashlight no taking chances you are taking plenty of chances already in the woods remember ' the fittest survive'...'survival of the fittest' and fire making skills need to be sharpened ' shape up or ship out!' as the saying goes in the army
