Multiple sources Monday tell FootballScoop that Taylor, a former star player for the Tigers and most recently the program's wide receivers coach and a key figure as Deion Sanders guided JSU's program to record heights, is expected to be formally named the Tigers' next head coach, barring any unforeseen snags.

No matter what they say, Sanders laid down a strong foundation and brought community and coporate support for the program. They can at least admit that - that's why Taylor will be the coach.
Who doesn't admit to that, a few ppl that came out of their rathole bcuz Coach came to JSU and they ran to the limelight. There is this run to what is considered negative. What about the positive. He got a chance to show what he could accomplish bcuz JSU hired him whereas the p5s all turned him down. And typical, once a black shows he's at least 2 times better they all come running for him. Commen truthfully and unbias.

I think he would be wise to keep some things the same and stay connected with Coach Prime. CU said they want to develop a program to give back to HBCUs starting with JSU because of what Deion did. I wouldn’t listen to anyone who’s name is not Deion if they want to keep the money flowing.

How wrong it was to attack him and been met with comments from JSU fans and alumni...positive and negative. The bottom line is that the actions of some puts a bad light on JSU as a whole (pettiness/unappreciative attitude) Let me explain.
The way Deion was bashed by fans at his final game was beyond petty. The chants....the announcer and his antics..unreal. Also the unappreciated response for all that he has done at JSU (not by all..) once he announced he was leaving. Again a bad look. And then....if it is true...the JSU president and staff mishandling fund made by the football program being one of the primary reasons him leaving...again a VERY bad look. With that being said...with all the criticism this man received for his decision...by alumni, fans loyal and fairweather (not all...)was petty and sets a bad look on the school as a whole.
They chanted "One monkey dont stop the show" at his last game. You stated not to lump all of JSU with some phony fans and alumni.....well you know what they say "A couple of bad apples can spoil the entire bunch"

It’s great he’s getting the job but let’s really be real real. TC doesn’t carry the weight or has a hall of fame signed endorsement experience as Coach Prime. TC seems to be a great guy to let’s to honest and not sell folks wolfs tickets. A 4 or 5 recruit when with TC in the LVR then Deon Sanders in the LVR. Both going with Deon period. So that’s being said, if Coach had a influence you continue to see these top recruits go elsewhere. We shall see.

Coach Taylor is the best person to step up and replace Coach Sanders. But unfortunately I don't think he'll be able to recruit and bring in the quality of players Coach Prime was able to do while there. Time definitely will tell.

Actually I think they are going to have to pay him the $300,000 they were paying coach Prime. He has the exact same resume plus and he has the understanding of what coach Prime went through. I wouldn't accept a penny less because they already cheated coach Prime out of some of his money. Not to mention they offered coach Prime a million dollars at the end of his tenure only to have him turn it down based on other undisclosed details. What you all ain't understanding though the reason coach Prime got a lot of this done was because his name is Deion Sanders people were Starstruck with Deion Sanders that's why they agreed to do a lot of things plus they knew that Dion would get their name out there and it would be a win-win ain't nobody looking to hook the support wagon up to TC and the only reason is because he wasn't a Hall of Fame cornerback number one guy in the NFL at that position people think Prime Time had all the answers but I'm here to tell you if Prime Times name was Bill Johnson and he was just a regular old decent college player but it has been in the NFL you do know all of this stuff would not have gotten done correct?
