    One of the Biggest flaws that developed over the last 4 to 5 decades in Black America.....
    The Majority look at White America and Europe and see the prosperity.
    They yearn for the benefits yet don't grasp the true concept of HARDWORK ....the concept of DELAYED GRATIFICATION...
    Saving Money....most important SACRIFICE.
    It starts with someone working and building and saving.....not spending every Dollar as soon as they get it.
    Having the ability (saved $$$) to help others (family) build ....to invest in their education or housing or business.
    Someone sacrifices so the next generation of people prosper....Can't that Black America if you spend all your money on Luxury items (Designer Brand anything) even worse Blacks incur way touch DEBT for Cars...Clothes....Jewelry
    Things that hold no value.
    I can go on and on.....but you smart ones get it......sadly there's to many of our people that don't.

This move affects more than just a football program..... Just like I left out punctuations you left out a whole lot of facts ...This has more to do with practicality than passion......The things you say we need to pay attention is connected to this.. in situations like this... I'm not angry that he left. That's his personal right and choice. But we're going to have to protect those who do sacrifice. And reach back. As well as those who say they want to sacrifice.. don't run the first time you see white money, in your face!!!! bottom line regardless of his professional career ..they didn't want him as a coach. If you are on a cruise ship and see people in the ocean who can't swim, struggling and drowning. Never jump off the ship into the water and try to save all of them. They will just pull you under and cause you to drown. Just throw them some life rafts and pull them to the boat. Deion should have never joined and put his name on this impoverished program. His legacy is too big and the waves he made were too big for those who cant even swim can handle. He should just have come to school saw the needs and only sent his money to do the work. If the accusations that have surfaced surrounding the behavior of JSU are valid, than they left Deon no choice, he had to leave. Not only did they not appreciate the opportunities and avenues that Deon had the knowledge and ability to open up for them and the entire HBCU community. They chose to treat him disrespectfully, and failed to honor their word. If the accusations are valid, there are people in the administration who shouldn’t be there, starting with the President. If the accusations are valid there is corruption taking place, that’s a management problem. If the accusations are valid based on Deon’s results, the boosters and alumni who actually support the program financially, and even the citizens/businesses should be demanding answers and a change in leadership at JSU. If the accusations are valid, then as always we are our own worst enemy. Now we’ll waste time being distracted and a lot of us talking when we should be listening and watch another opportunity go by. The thing we won’t hear is that there are too many black folks in this country with dollars for the HBCU’s to be in this situation in the first place. We are still divided and haven’t the basic principle of life. There’s strength in numbers and when those numbers are truly unified with the same goal and desire to achieve it, true freedom.

    With respect Malcolm X & the NOI had more issues for splitting. Malcolm on going abroad saw people of different races pray together - that affected his views on racism & segregation.
    He also was disappointed in Elijah Muhammad’s affairs .
    JSU need to address the issues of ticket sales & bonuses...

    • @Salaam71
      @Salaam71 Год назад

      That is not why they "split". Malcolm had already been out of the NOI for a few months when he went on his hajj. And no that wasn't his first time hearing about or seeing "white Muslims". That was always taught in the NOI. Besides Malcolm had already been to Arabia and other countries with white Muslims while he was still in the NOI. Actually, Elijah Muhammad went to Mecca before Malcolm in 1959. The same goes for the "affairs". He knew about the wives around 2 years before leaving the NOI. Also, Malcolm's views on separation* (not segregation) never changed. There is nothing wrong with in the way he briefly described the split. ✌🏾

    Oh woe is prime. Cry me a river. He poisoned the water there after proclaiming himself the savior.
    No sympathy for him building his empire stepping on the backs of young men then playing the victim.

    Brotha Deion mentioned "cracking that thing and letting others in" we've have long been a presence in high level sports, however they only really want best, brightest and the highest achieving of us to benefit their programs and institutions, while leaving a void in our own. We have to see the importance of building and maintaining our programs and institutions to the highest level and if we could accomplish that, you would see others leaving their programs and institutions to be a part of ours.
