    Nice but It would be cheaper to demolish it and build new on the footprint, just keep the courtyard walls.

      I thought so too at first but 4 good walls is a good start, yes you could build something modern possibly for less but not with the same character and certainly not with stone.

      @@pppropertyvideos It has no character it's just a box with square windows. Not trying to pour water on it, but that building needs structural surveys, possible underpinning,,damp proofing, probably all the rendering hacked off the list is endless and the work slow. I've done loads of these projects. I would knock it down reclaim the bricks possibly reuse them somewhere and rebuild to modern insulated standards,.Possibly with a full or part basement. keep the vids rollin, always informative.

      This is the thing it is stone built not brick build perhaps the video does not do it justice but the stone lintels and I suppose I have the advantage of knowing what style of roof looks good on these buildings. It is possible to underpin stone but rarely done and when it is largely not needed, accept that they move a bit and the odd crack appears. Normally you cast a concrete beam around the top of the building to consolidate.
