I don't come here for entertainment. I come here because I want to make a million dollar business for the future of my family and enrichment of my community.
This is better than mowing a lawn, your obviously not showing all your secrets on RUclips for free but the little amount of info you do provide helps out sooooooo much
Been binge listening to your podcast, all of your resources are absolutely vital and so damn generous to new business owners. Im an arborist stepping out for the first time under one "outdoor service" umbrella.. without what you've already given us, i don't think I'd be making the jump to full-time self employment. Thanks Mike! -Terry from Rothgeb Timber And Land Management.
Thank you for the video Mike. This material is way more important than watching blades spin. My office person is leaving nd I have to figure out a solution. Call volume is higher than 4-5 per day. I already have a shop with office, but am considering the "virtual" admin option. Your video made a valid point that the virtual office assistant should be able to work with your CRM. I did not know that was an option from "for hire" services. Thank you.
Mike, these videos are extremely helpful-not only to my business but countless others. Thank you for taking the time to make such informative videos even when you know they won’t get as many views. My business and mindset have done a complete 180 since discovering your channel. Just wanted to let you know that you’re changing lives!!
You still using Jill's office? I've been using them for a month, and they are good at answering the phone and taking notes, but don't do any of the other admin tasks he talks about in this video...
Will you talk about winter services, what you do etc? I am wanting to do it this year, but would love more info so I make sure I sell it, and set it up properly.
If you are in Landscape Business Course, I just added an hour long lecture on this topic… last week. Basically just selling your mowing clients recurring winter work during dormant months
What virtual admin are people using? We have a pool service company and use Skimmer as our CRM, but Jill's Office can't enter info in it because there are no APIs to integrate via Zapier.
Mike, What customer count/revenue should we be at to consider a virtual office assistant? Is Pink Callers "$1400 per week" service affordable if we are a $250K+ business?
That will be $75K+ per year… 25% of revenue. That a bit steep. Maybe wait till you are at least $500K+ (preferably $1M) Until then get a per minute based service is my recommendation ✅
4 calls a day? Psh. I don’t think I get any less than 20/day. Maybe on rainy days. But they are worth it if your call volume is low. I was paying 2k/month earlier this season for a call service that worked with SA. My conversion rate dropped and I know they weren’t answering all the calls. I switched to an in house answering staff and conversions went up drastically.
How skilled are these virtual staff though? How much effort has to be put into these staff who are virtual? I would prefer a person whom I can work with and monitor up close not some potential hillbilly who will represent my company in the wrong manor.
I can’t speak for other calling services but at Augusta they are trained for weeks and go through lots of scenarios and practice before they even touch the phone

This is gold.
The business administration videos are the best. Invaluable knowledge.
FYI- These are my favorite type of videos. Keep them coming!

👏🏻🌟 thank you for the kind words!!
These videos are the best. Fuq the mowing videos. These are what help me grow my business. You're the man mike!

This type of content is the reason I subscribe! Thanks for your hard work, Mike!
You should open in Coeur D'Alene Idaho so I can work for you, your style of management is so refreshing
Love what youre doing , follow you a year from now . Keep going . 🇧🇪

I appreciate that! That is my fuel
Another hit. Great information
First year doing it and it’s been great, you can pause Jills Office for the winter also.

Thank You Everyone At Command Center! What a Blessing!
What about non-franchisees who use other virtual office staff.....and protecting sensitive information?
That is tough part. I would say create systems to prevent it but realize that any growth requires trust in others
I love that shirt

@@MikeAndes I’m not. I was at conference last year and took some notes. I’ll have to refer to them. Thanks
@@MikeAndes Hey Mike. I’m in the course but not sure where I can find this lecture. Could you refer me somewhere?
Thanks for the video Mike. Always great information
Which one works best with yardbook.
Did you find that your Masters in business came in handy, or did the vast majority of your business acumen just come from doing business?
It was a tiny bit helpful but not great ROI for the time and money spent
@@MikeAndes Ok thanks for the answer.

Sometimes ill go a week without a call and sometimes ill get 15. I thought that was normal I guess I should advertise more.
Perfect candidate for virtual staff so you only pay for the calls... and not for someone to twiddle their thumbs when calls volume is low
Mike Andes > Football
This is awesome stuff !
🏈🤣 thanks for kind words
@@MikeAndes Well since the Saints f/cked my parlay, this is better than football.

A calling service is a great idea.👍🏼
What's the UK alternative or will Jill's Office work for the UK?
Not sure
@Mike Andes, what is your thought on a virtual assistant? (Not specifically a answering service but a specific person)
I like it ✅ only trouble is the fact you might have to train them on your software
Thanks Mike!
Anyone know a good call service for house call pro?
Nice shirt!
Does the saved money from firing office staff get distributed into the salaries of the hourly workers?
Just make the switch when the positions open up … or grow to the point where the NEW growth warrants supplemental help
Is there a location in Nebraska
For augusta? Not yet
Does anyone know a call service that can work with LMN software?
I have heard a couple, but it wasnt good review.... I am sure there are. Join an LMN user group and ask
Awesome!

Definitely gotta spot check the quality ✅ Could you let me know (privately is fine) which service that was? I don’t wanna recommend bad performers.
I’m gonna guess you do around $300-$500K annually?
@@MikeAndes yep. How do I contact you privately?
Email is in the video description ✅👍🏻
I actually like these videos better! 😅
Ty
What answering service do you use
We have Command Center for Augusta Lawn Care franchisees
Small lawncare bitness lol

Why would you waste your time making mowing videos. You're moving on to bigger things and these videos are much better.

Algorithm
Its ironic how you are advising business owners to eliminate "linchpin" situations.....while you are the linchpin of your own franchise....
Except there are dozens of “linchpins” at command center… instead of just ONE owner or office person.
There is no outsourcing of Mike Andes....#IRONY
