How I deal with Arties
Step 1: Play Arty
Step 2: Counter Arty
Step 3: Blow yourself up
Step 4: Repeat

That is a very-very wrong way to play artillery if you are playing for win and intend to help your team.
Good artillery
a) shoots at initial spot -- usually artillery first loads roughly at the same time your LT reaches the enemy contact. You can easily squash some enemy heavy or even multiple for your heavies then kill them easily. You can track some enemy LT so your team kills him and you instantly get an advantage on the open map.
b) for its second reload follows enemies on the move to their positions or positions taken. Should your LT be still alive and some enemy TD would get spotted you must be ready to catch them. In midtiers there are lots of zero armor low HP tank destroyers, you help your team a lot by oneshoting them. Or leaving them crippled.
c) follow the flow of game and helping your team where enemy is too aggressive or your team needs to push or just reducing enemy health pool.
d) shooting artillery is justified when it gets spotted and moves nowhere. Which means you have sure one shot kill. And there is no other target available.
Good artillery is ready to shoot at every reload. Target chosen, gun aimed so you push that button as soon as the shell is in the chamber. Sitting loaded and waiting for enemy artillery tracer is just a waste of your time. Time you could spend helping your team.
Yes, removing enemy artillery helps your team too. No, it is still not worth it, as you can influence the game much more dealing with other targets. Getting three enemy heavys damaged and stunned (they often come together on a same position) is way more valuable than hurling a shell on an enemy arty position with uncertain chance of kill. And, BTW, the able artillery moves after each shot. Just in case there is a tracer wanker on the enemy team.
@@kenshinyamamoto5855 Too bad some arty players take this seriously and think harassing enemy artillery is as good as dealing with rest of the enemy team.
These must be really that "one button" players, as sitting all game looking for an enemy tracer is much easier than following and predicting the flow of the game.

Those tier 6s had fun, -2 mm is great for the game. WG should send them surveys "You had fun?" chose one of the following "Da" or "yes".
WG dev, "We can't limit arty to 1 per team because then there will be an arty each game", We would take 1arty every game than 3 arties per team most of the games.

It's just so wholesome to watch how he outplays artillery by driving through all the gaps in the walls and fences so the artillery doesn't get any clues where he might relocate!
I suspect the IKV did not do this... he got knocked out after he became unspotted.

I like the baguette, it is usually 1 or 2 shots from a 21CM Mörser depending on angle.
the bourrasque wouldve been a good vehicle even if it was single shot with the same dpm and everything. that would be good for a tech tree tank.

there's a better burst damage than the bourrasque, that's the borsig WT with the big gun :p
750 of burst damage in a second instead of 720 in 2sec, only 15sec of reload instead of 21.. but yeah the mobility isn"t quite the same haha (plus, it's not actually an autoloader)
This tank is my favorite tank, this tank and the Super Hellcat made me love this game again.
Nice game...thinking about it bourrasque is basically elc bis but at tier 8...punchy and derpy gun mounted on a mobile lightly arrmoured chasis

These replays really stretch what the experience is for a true free-to-play character. When you are rolling around in a tank that a mass majority of free-to-play players will not have, and you always have premium time to receive the extra rewards premium grants you, I just shake my head and chuckle. I enjoy the replays for what they are: a great player showing others their extensive knowledge of the maps and tanks in the game. However, when you are "free-to-play," and in a tank like the Bourrasque, it come across more as "look how good I am with one hand tied behind my back."
Yeah average players (who want to play the game) can't really pick when they are playing it. QB plays a lot whenever there's an event going on with premium time etc. available. But I guess it's about _"what F2P player can do"_ rather than _"what an average F2P player can do"_ .
T77 and Bourrasque are my favourite premium tanks. Because of amazing burst potential.

Hey guys does anyone know how or what graphics setting can make the shell tracer glow like this at 8:00 ? Or is it a mod? Pls let me know cause ive tried adjusting different settings but i cant figure out how to do it, for me the shell tracers are still barely visible... I would really apreciate it, thanks

I'm up to 700 games in mine. I have like a 66-68% W/R. Its an amazing tank. Its maneuverable, bursty, and good camo.
In the hands of a noob it will get wrecked. In the hands of a master, it is a piece of art.
The M44 is the best tech tree arty tier for tier, and one of the best to back you up.
This match had such a different vibe during the stream and I love both.
Please export your videos at 2560x1440. RUclips will then compress the Bitrate way less so the quality of your videos will be WAY better.

Regarding 12:12 - artillery is hardly any better against opposite SPGs than heavy tanks, it's it has been so much nerfed, there are very few penetrations against thick armour. I've been in French tier IX SPG against Japanese Type 5, hit it numerous times, but... it's almost like my WHOLE ammo capacity should not be enough to take it down. Luckily I was not the last player on our team, so we won.
Well, that and the tendency of so many SPGs to sit still, making them better targets for arty with it s insanely long aiming time, slow reloads and abysmal "accuracy". XD

I used to hate arty back in the day but now i think arty is really where it should be, i can't imagine having to deal with all the heavy armored tanks being hull down without arty to soften them.
The only premium consumables I ever use are automatic fire extinguishers and they’re only on the tanks I really like playing the most and am best in

this game was a nailbitter live, super cool to watch happen on stream.
in the first game with QB running the Bourasque and waiting for the arty to do damage...maybe, just maybe the reason the arty is not as effective at damaging the enemy tanks as expected is that arty has been nerfed many, many times now. As an arty player the damage I can do to most enemy tanks is vastly reduced compared to what their shells and calibre guns should (and used to be able to do). Arty is infinitely less effective than it was three or so years ago, and I have decent crews and upgrades on my arties. However, I do agree that three arty per side is too many.
Yeah, I thought that the burrasque wasn't for me during the marathon. So I skipped it and regrettet it some month later. I bought it at the next chance and have real fun with it since. No 70% winrate but fun although I'm usually more a heavy tank player. This tank is kinda easy to play in today's meta.
Im an average 55 percent player and achieved 68 % winrate solo in the Bourrasque with 6.8k damage max...
MoE to 92.5 percent... This tank is crazy op, with Gold only and bond equipment i got to 525 m viewrange :D

Bcz insane speed (best in t8 bcz lol light tank hull+ebr turret)+high burst potential (not to mention this thing high rolls like a bitch, I was once on 810-820 hp, and a borat came and cliped me+ the usual 380 rolls i usually take from them)=wtf
In the hands of a good player this thing beats even t9 meds. Imo 1v1 this thing beats all t9 meds but the 25t ap maybe half the time (just bcz the 25t is so fast and has a mag big enough to clip the borat, but borat is faster)

I thought that this was going to be a twitch clip by the way the video started😂 btw speaking about this map, I like it a lot too, but it's not perfect since from the spawn that you played in this game it's very hard for heavies to get to the heavy flank without getting shot which is not the case from the opposite spot and it is very annoying when you play with a superheavy since you don't really have any other options.

What’s weird is that in blitz matchmaking is plus 1 minus 1. Tier 8 can only meat tiers 9 and 7, so a tiger 2 won’t be smacked by a kv2
Highest burst tier 8: 703 II loading HE 1060 damage
Am I the only one who gets instant facepalm when I see a manual fire extinguisher in use? No matter how broke you are in WOT, you always go for automatic extinguisher unless you are using national food, I am sure. Also, QB is teaching that to some new or completely play for free players who trust his authority. Lots of them probably think it's cheaper to use manual, but it's not.
Things that in my opinion really need to be taught to a completely play for free player:
1. Always start saving your crew from tier 5 or 6 onwards.
2. When starting up a new crew, always go for 75% for silver, never 50% for free.
3. Always re-train crew for silver, never for free.
4. Don't let your tech tree progress faster than your economy, let the bank build up.
4. Always keep a bank of credits in order there is equipment sale or a Black Market event.
5. Always plan your equipment build in advance and buy all you need for future when there is sale.
6. When you sell your tank, always sell it's equipment with it (if it's regular equipment). It's sold for half price, that way you lose nothing if you bought it at 50% discount earlier. No need to spend 10 gold or Demounting Kit.
7. Always correct that random dude on the internet on his numeration mistake in the RUclips comments.
QB has talked about that and he thinks the 8,5k credits is not worth it for the automatic FE. He does have enough credits for them (16 million atm).

You sound like a "free-to-brain" kind of player...
WG should make some changes to arty stats. I have over 1mil exp on M44 and still on 300m I get total misses by a lot for no reason after full focusing. I can atribute it only to RNG,because on some occasions I make a one shot kill on KV2 on 200m and on another a bounce on M4 at 50m!!! Also the reload time is changing for no reason(it counts in seconds but somehow these last a bit longer sometimes).
Another thing is gold ammo and premium tanks like Bourasque and AMX 13-57;they should all play in a mode of their own,othervise they are just sealclubbing us,the regular blood/sweat/tears grinders (or non-gold-expending players).
One more thing is internet lag making the stats really bad, I lost hundreds of good battles,being on a roll or maybe about to turn the tide of battle and suddenly lag transports me somewhere off or even better,moves the opponent (I saw that mostly against russian named players so I'm thinking it could be even a hack or something).

On my M40/43 its quite something else. changing the angle of attack helps massivly with deying the enemies cover.
