Umpires have the best job ever. They can make a mistake and then take it out on people that try to point out their mistakes
So true
That's why their asses are on the jackpot. :P
Yeah...umpires are shit.
perfect for a narcissist.
Keepitfresh02 Oh yes, perfect for a narcissist.
Brett Gardener banging on the dugout room caused the earthquakes in California.

@MUFC soccer is ass
@MUFC all you do is kick a ball whoop-e
Yes, further proof the managers need the umpire ejection mechanic
6:03 looked legit to me.
Canderous92A10 yea it wasn’t a blown call....
It depends on if that was called a ball to the Rockies pitcher the half inning before
Todd Brown yeah that’s usually what the issue is, if you’re gonna call something, gotta be consistent for both teams.
6:37 "Get outta here! Get!" Hahaha treated him like airbud
I wish I could be terrible at my job with absolutely no consequences. Must be nice.
Thanks for putting out these kinds of vids that no one else is doing 💪. Keep it up 🔥
Thanks for the support!
Eugenia Suárez in the first clip had me laughing so hard!
Jimmy Donohoe he tried so hard
“Pillar’s gotta be careful when he wa... He just kicked him out”
8:00 "it was this far of the ****ing plate"
*fucking*
I watched that happen and might I say excellent frame job by Smith
PS: I’m an Angels fan.
SoccerNdog framing means the ball wasn’t in the strike zone so usually when the umpire sees the catchers glove move he’ll likely call it a ball

"Tighten this shit up" is my single favorite ejection chant ever. I'm a Cards fan by trade, but fucking respect Boone for that. Clap-hands, no less.
my guys are savages in the box. =)
That first one was a full turds lenght away
What's the full length of a turd?
That was a strike to ianetta
Like everyone else said, 6:01 is a correctly called strike. It was right over the heart of the plate and almost half the ball passed through zone at the knees.
@carlabpurdy I just pulled the pitch tracking numbers for the game. The umpire, John Libka, called 147/152 pitches correctly for a 96.71% accuracy.
For this specific pitch, only 0.4 inches of the ball was out of the zone. The other 87% of the ball went through the zone.
Boone is one of the best managers I’ve seen in a while
Jon Stewart no he is not he doesn’t do anything his team is too good
Jon Stewart not really when you have the biggest payroll in baseball, it’s not really that hard to be a good manager, you can get whoever you want.
@@kyleherbert8257 The funny thing is that the Yankees don't have the highest payroll. In fact, the Red Sox have the highest payroll this year. What a shame
Matt still my point still stands. It’s not hard to make a good team when you can buy everyone.
@@kyleherbert8257 that's wrong entirely. A lot of the guys on the Yankees roster were from the farm or guys the drafted. Stanton has the biggest contract on the team and they traded for him. Cant use that excuse. Look up all the guys on that roster and see where they came from
The one with Kyle Freeland was correct
Oh no, very incorrect.
That pitch to Gardner was not as bad as they’re making it sound
Both pitches to Cody Bellinger were outside!
G Money Slot Videos first pitch looked like it caught the plate. The other was definitely a ball
Wow that bald man hitting his bat off the ceiling of the dugout sure was cool. Baseball sure is a cool sport sport watched by cool people.
I mean better the metal roof than the refs head
These umpires have to be better, games are decided on these bad calls
On the Yankees one look at Aaron hicks he starts to smile lmaoooooooo
I know that umpires and baseball are synonymous but with the technology we have, there needs to be some kind of laser square thingy that will measure an actual strike or ball. They could set it up behind the plate and never again will there be a missed call. If it's a strike, it lights green. Ball it lights red. Easy peasy Japanesey
I'm sorry but you're winning 15-9 in the top 9th .... just let it go.
Get ready for Chris Sale/Alex Cora in the August version. Home plate ump was horrible today (August 3rd).
Perhaps. But he was horrible on both sides. Cora and Sale acted like jackasses. And to be fair, Gardner and Boone were worse in the video here. Acted like a couple of savages
Arron Boone really told the man to get better
Freeland ejection was awful on Freeland's park that was clearly a strike.
I'm the kind of fan that believes that if one stitch of the ball crosses the plate at any point between the logo and the bottom of the knees, it's a strike, and even I think that these are generous calls.
2:29 Someone violated General Order 7 to bring this guy to Earth...
Umps safespace was violated....
the opposing manager and players are never furious when their picture gets that call. Was Gardener or the coach furious when their pitcher was caught with a foreign substance on his neck?
In the Colorado and Washington game the pitch leading to the ejection was actually a strike. soooooo
It's a plate not a dish. It's possible both those pitches curved in and brushed the back corner.
I don’t know what Votto was trying to accomplish, yes it was a bad call, but you’re up by 6, this just seems to me like he didn’t want to play anymore
Brobdingnagian yea that’s what I said, it was a close call but his team is up 6 in the 9th inning
Umpires should have to pay fines when they make bad calls.. especially when it's on tape.
awesome
First one is stupid it’s 15-9 don’t see any reason to argue with the ump when it was barely outside
It's 15 to 9 no need to argue balls and strikes. Take the win and move on.
15-9 is equivalent as 6-0. Game is not out of reach.
Awesome 👍
You've become my favorite baseball youtuber. Better than made the cut, better than Wesley apex, better than Andrew vargha. GREAT JOB!!👏👏👏👏

Matthew what year were your born in?
Can I recommend a Jomboy Media vid or two for you?

I wouldn’t call misjudging a 90Mph baseball by half an inch a “blown call”.
Electronic strike zone... it’s a must. Figure out a way to do it. I’m tired of umps ruining at bats and games. If you’re not on the electronic strike zone train then you’re part of the problem and don’t have the right to complain about these humans continuously making errors.
That would ruin baseball. We don't like the errors but I wouldn't have it any other way.
@@Donjuanantoine It Ruins the game man we need to go electronic so games can be more fair.
Its tradition to have to gauge what the umpire views as a strike zone..its baseball...deal with it
unpataunpata but often times it’s incorrect. Lol. You don’t get it
Most people don't understand and I say this after Is 30 plus years umpiringin high school. Stop looking at where the catcher received the ball. Is the catcher's glove is 25 or 30 Inches passed home plate. The batter Establishes their strike zone when they step in the Box and assume their natural batting stance. As soon as the baseball passes the front edge of home plate, I made my decision. I don't care where the catcher's glove is when the ball hits his pocket. The MLB rule book States that the top of the strike zone is established between the collar bone and the belly button. The image In the this roll book shows the dotted line going right under the nipple line.. I hate when empires call strikes that are at the belt buckle or below. There is nothing in the roll book that says the top of the strike zone is higher if it's a breaking pitch but lower if it's a fast ball.
A call is never blown if it goes against the Yankees
6:02 was obviously NOT a blown call.
Nah, I agree with Pillar that inside change up was a b.s call way inside💩
That yankee umpire had two really bad pitches in a row
First one was pretty bad. Second was because Boone wouldn't shut-up. Bottom line is, it went against the Yankess so who really cares....
PsychoThirteen he deserved to have Boone chirping at him. You don’t get to screw up a call and then take a retaliatory call because you get called out on it
@@shrimp19921 Umpires these days seem to run from "almost descent" to "downright horrible". It was a bad call but MLB says you cannot argue balls & strikes (even with bad umps) so Boone was just asking for it.
And like I originally said - it was against the Yankees so....
Boone deserved the ejection for sure, but the ump cant call the second one a strike just because he is being chirped at
@@bosten56 Maybe they need to implement a rule where the manager can eject 1 umpire per game. THAT would be worth the price of admission!
I wore a white wristband for a day but the lil league team caught me at piggly wiggly so I took it off...
That umpire at the Yankees rays game was shit
The pitch to gardner caught a piece and is borderline. The next pitch is bad tho
These umpires must've been trained by Angel Hernandez. 🙄
Thank god robot strike zones are coming to the mlb.
Pitch framing by catchers should be grounds for ejection.
Wouldn't it be rational to allow an umpire to be ejected, if both managers agree to it ? Seems like a simple idea, and there may be contractual problems, but wouldn't this solve a whole lot of problems ?
I wondered what kind of Pandora's box would be opened, but it would be great if umpires had formal accountability
they should fire every ump and bring in electronic officials.
Baseball sucks might as well make it 1 pitch and everyone starts with a full count 3-2
this a big example why framing pitches is the biggest BS in baseball and needs to go away
Umpires will be replaced by technology for strikes and balls in the near future.
can’t stand umps that call horrible strikes calls. i think they need robot umpires
You’re up by six runs in the top of the ninth on a borderline pitch. Just sit down.
I came into this video Happy but now I’m just pissed at the end of the video.
Good.
Leave now.
Fucker.
Robo Umps on the way?
Max Freedom robot behind the plate and field umps is the way to go
We can only hope.
Can't happen soon enough.
Uploaded by Bosten56... hmmmm
put a pitch tracker on the scoreboard all big so we can hold umps accountable. "Look asshole you missed the call"
Some of these catchers move their glove about a foot once they catch the ball
At what point do these umpires just Suck at their Job?
I don’t know why votto got mad even though his team is winning
Many of these calls are good calls. If its close its a strike.
No, the strike zone means just that. If it is outside the zone it is not a strike. It couldn't possibly be more clear. Wow, I can't believe you posted that.
I think you have the idea of a strike and swinging at a close pitch mixed up lol. You should swing because it's close, but just because a pitch is close doesnt make it a strike.
I'm always told it's not where the catcher catches the ball but where it actually crosses the plate... but a lot of these to me seems like the ump made the call based on the frame job 🤷🏾♂️
As much as I'd love to roast em, I gotta assume it's hard to actually see the ball where it crosses. So they kinda gotta hope they spot the glove pre frame
That would be much harder than actually watching the ball go into the glove 🤷🏾♂️
@@shanemccarthy7282 keep in mind the ball travels 95 mph from like 60 feet(or less) away. I've never umpires before but I gotta assume its hard
Kyle Freeland didn't get ejected on a blown call, that was clearly a strike...
Weathermen and umps can fuck it up and not get fired.
I can't even tell you how many times the A's have been on the shitty end of this. Ridiculous. We should be able to challenge the 3rd strike if it's called a strikeout at least once a game and if you are right you get one more replay and that's it. But the fact you can't argue them is ridiculous they are game changing pitches
Man, some of these umps are blind. Many of these pitches were way out side the zone. Only a couple were potential borderline calls. I think electrical strike zones are coming sooner rather than later.
In the Yankees clip I feel like he called the second pitch a strike just to piss off the Yankees lol
You think with all the millions they're paid they could be a little more tolerant
Votto could be a class act if he learned to keep his mouth shut
No it's the players job to suck it up and deal with it
Aren’t young umpires suppose to see better?
Joey got to should have just gone to the dugout, it was top 9 15-9 they were most likely gonna win
Swing the bat
at balls? hell nah
Just walk off the field. If umps acted like half of them did I'd tell mlb you better bring a new one in or this game is done.
4:05 SAM HOLBROOK FUCKING SUCKS!!!! HATED THAT UMPIRE SINCE HE MADE THAT STUPID INFIELD FLY CALL IN THE 2012 NL WILD CARD GAME. AND CALLED TURNER OUT FOR INTERFERENCE IN GAME 6 OF THE WORLD SERIES WHEN HE RAN STRAIGHT TO THE BAG
I was taught that it is not the player's job to bitch at the umpire, that its the coach's job. I was also taught to focus on the next pitch/play. Finally, I was taught to protect the plate with two strikes on me. Every player that was ejected in this video either didn't know when to shut up, or they threw equipment. Ejections well-earned. Title should be, "Hot-head Verbal Diarrhea leads to ejections."
Bingo. Couldn't agree more.
Who the fuck was doing the D-backs color? WE'RE LOOKING RIGHT AT IT! What was wrong with the pitches to Marte? I mean other than the fact that they backed up and fooled him.
Umpires have always been vilified, but things have gotten ridiculous lately -- and mostly from people who have no history with the game. People who have grown up on fucking video games.
How'd u enjoy the 4 game sweep over the week end??
Maybe those players had enough of the Umpires doing a shit job.
Maybe we're all sick of your shit show, dusty.

Tony Stark?
Softball is such a better game.
Lucky C Lmfao only moms and teen girls will watch softball.
Memetastic Bot
It’s a faster game
Less crying as baseball by men
Don’t dish it until you try it.
USA Women’s Softball will most likely take gold next year in 2020 Tokyo
Baseball is top 10 most watched sports in the world, 2nd in America. The reason why men yell at umps is because of bad calls. Baseball has brawls, and 400ft+ bombs. 90+ mph pitches from farther length then softball. Actually allowed to lead off on a base (can’t do that in softball right?) Yeah softball is a shorter game but I don’t think they have 100+ game seasons. World Series is one of the most anticipated sports games recognized all around the world. But that’s me. I much rather prefer men sports because it’s more entertaining, in my opinion. I know few men play softball but it gets boring watching them hit home runs constantly. Softball is more of a women’s sport which is why most men prefer baseball, like me.
Just think, if the reds would just shut up and play baseball they may win more games.
Why did votto even say anything they were up by 6 runs and it was the last inning
I know right
He should've saw that win 😒
Bc hes votto lol
jacktv when you let bad calls happen it will become a habit
First one, hey Joey, it’s the 9th inning and you’re up by 6. Grow up and sit down
a bad call is a bad call and when humans officiate, bad calls will happen, why put all the blame on the ump they have to make split second decisions just like the batter, it just seems very unfair to get into major arguments with the ump with the sole intention of getting ejected, if you don’t want bad calls, look into computer officiating, but no people want the “human element” but when a “human element” arrives everyone is upset including the people that want the “human element”
that call on Votto was a awful call or was it a strike hell I thought he was throwing to the third baseman. You know ump's are human like all other men and thats what you get when he didn't get what he reached for after hearing good night dear now you see ump strikes out too.
Sorry but a lot of these were close. I wouldn’t call them blown calls. Also you can’t argue balls and strikes.
@Gaven Miller study shows umps right on balls/strikes 97% of time. Pretty good.
1:15 was not a bad call
Yes it was. It was inside.
Ya was going toward the zone but finally got in it after crossing the plate
@Gaven Miller you're such a cancer cell
exactly.
Fuc&ing savages at the plate..
Fucking savages in the fucking box.
As soon as you point out something that an Umpire does wrong he throws you out of the game. Umpires are just like cops as soon as they get butthurt they use their authority to terrorize you
Votto if I was a Major league umpire I would ring you up on every close third strike. 🤣🤓 Then kick you you of the game immediately 😂😂😂
@carlabpurdy Nobody is going to do jack shit. Especially a Dick head like you or votto
