I live on a small tropical Island and they used to destroy it on a smaller island just North of the city and harbor that belongs to the NAVY. They used to burn it until one day they were burning several hundred tons of pot and the wind changed direction which made the smoke blow over the harbor and town town area. this was back in the early 80's and within minutes the harbor was full of people on anything that would float. It was pretty funny. Sadly they no longer burn it there. I also had a friend whos dad worked in our cities government and when his shipment got intercepted by the U.S.C.G. he just waited a few days snuck on the base and stole it back from the U.S.C.G. they knew he did it but could never prove it. At one point he actually handcuffed to 2 officers to a fence that came to his office to take him to their office to talk with their own handcuffs. These are 100% true stories we have a lot of really strange things that happened here. 1980 we succeeded from the Union took down the American Flag Raised our New Conch Republic Flag our mayor fired a shot into the air and immediately surrendered back to the U.S.A. This made it possible for the U.S. to give our town millions in relife money. We are the Southernmost city in the U.S. yet we fought on the Union side of the civil war. We used to say in school "This is where the weird turn Pro" If you want a story to keep up up at night Google " Carl Von Cosel" . Lol.

one very important thing not being talked about is that military, especially US, can hear these subs from a long way out, technology remnants of cold war era to detect and track russian subs, and you can be sure that these narco subs are loud AF in water if they are self propelled, detecting a towed one with a line to an otherwise legit vessel would be a bit more challenging, but if they wanted to - they sure could find every single one of these

0:42 Three outboards? I don't think it did much more that drop off to another boat.
They call it a "Blister." At night scuba diver attaches a container of drugs to the side of another boat. It could be any boat, but it has to be a boat with a known route into the coast. When it pulls into a harbor, somebody snags a rope that was left trailing behind the target vessel. He then drags his big catch to a place where the buyers can purchase and distribute it.

It is weird. If you build your yachts yourself, you'll see those submarines are extremely clever designs. It needs to be light and strong. And going under water is an extra risk. These ships are built somewhere remote, in the jungle, but that does not mean these ships are crap. They know exactly what to do and there is enough budget. The men building this are experts. Paint it yellow and a multi millionair can buy one, turning it into a luxury yacht, call it Yellow Submarine. But no, it is used for drugs transport. What a waste of money. The vessels are just sacrificed, deliver the shit, dump the submarine, get away.

I can’t imagine being so desperate to feed your family that you would actually think this was a good idea. 😭 Feel so bad for the sailors. Also it sounds like the cartels are richer then the government that they reside in, I wonder how many official’s look the other way for a cut of the profit. Praying for all the poor people in these country’s that have to put there lives in danger either with the cartel itself if they don’t want to be involved or getting into one of these. They do get caught, its just usually low level people and with the money involved there is always someone willing to take their place. In many cases its not about feeding their family, its about getting rich and living like a king, but most end up dead or in jail. Random things you might find interesting:
      - In the 1980's pablo escobar and one other dude offered to pay over 10billion to cover the external debt of colombia in exchange to not being extradited, he was rejected.
      - One of his favorite things was "plata o plomo" which rimes in spanish, but basically you either take the bribe or you die from lead bullets
      - Most of the trade is grown, processed and shipped directly from the jungle.

its not a submarine in any way. its a speed boat that sits very low in the water., you can see the engines hanging off the back of it. the boats top is built up over them at the back, so the max depth it can go is the depth it sits in the video.
the only reason these are evere called submarines is because there is no other reason to build boats like these. so they look slightly different from a regular speed boat. and journalists would get less clicks id they talked about " speed boats rebuilt to have a low profile" so they call them subs.

In breaking down the maths to “doses”, you would seem to be suggesting that a half of a gram is one dose. A half of a gram, straight off the kilo is way more than a “dose”.

I remember the bust of a Russian American who was able to buy army navy airforce hardware including submarine with missiles and even nuclear weapons though they got busted before the deal went through. This was when the ussr collapsed and most of the former super power ussr weaponry was available on the black market. Due to corruption, poor countries, theft and new countries and mainly ex Russian commanders with fleets being stuck in a new country along with a massive base supersonic bombers nukes missiles or subs missiles torpedos nukes to aks and tanks. Its insane. But im willing to bet either the cartels had a hard time getting there hands on them because of the worlds navy intelligence and or if they did acquire and use one most likely each nation would keep it silent. Cause imagine a columbian cartel using a diesel electric submarine from south America to north America and it being a used cold war ussr sub with ability to launch torpedos and possibly missiles and or nuclear armed. That would slow the response of interception thinking its a rival nation and would cause a media frenzy weather it was caught saw or blown up

@@SOLDOZERi dont know where you are, but where i am there has been no change. early 80s good weed n hash was like $10/gram. sometime in the late 90s that crept up to $15/gram in some cases. 5 years ago they allowed weed shops to open and prices stayed the same. then they were shut down to make room for gov approved crony capitalism shops. these shops still sell at the same prices, rarely if ever going over $15/gram. i reject prohibition 2.0 and still only buy black market weed on delivery. i have yet to see over $15 a gram. 2 days ago i got 2 hs, one of blueberry kush, and one of gelato. both were $8/gram. the black market has never gone away, despite govs best attempts to do away with potential competition.
