Outstanding! The greatest battling fish there is imo. Greetings from Co Cork . My late father had an Irish record for a short period, broken 3 times in 2005 . His fish was 11lb 10oz caught on Lough Currane . I noticed the man taking scales
Now that's fishing ! nothing finer than trout straight from the sea ... refreshing to see the care you took with the fish too .seaweed unhooking mat .. thoughtful and effective...a lesson to be learned by many others ..Great video as usual

What parts of Ireland are you fishing exactly? My old man lives around Dublin and also has a country home in Achill.. Any good fishing out there? Would love to throw some flies next time I head out there..

Loving your videos. Looking to start swff soon can you tell me your set up? Line weight,type is floater intermediate? Do you use a tapered leader or just straight mono/ flouro? Sorry for all the questions but it's a whole new ball game for me, thanks and tight lines

Love your videos m8. Quick question for yea, have you got any tips as to where one would go in and around Dublin / wicklow to do a bit of Sea Bass fishing on the fly? And what is the typical rod / fly setup? Cheers m8 and keep up the good work!
Reggie Morgan A 7/8# fly rod loaded with a 8# WFF (Weight forward floating) with a 12' ft leader should do the trick. Actually Reggie I'll ask someone who lives and fishes up that neck of the woods to give you a heads up on where to start maybe. They would be better qualified to direct you. Tightlines to you.

Good video man! was out bassin last nite in an esturay and there was hundreds of ssea trout, i changed to the fly rod tried a small blue teal but notin took, i might try a bigger fly that i use for pollock like the one you have here and hopefully sumthing will take :)
Hi Bandon, Sounds like a blast, you would be very surprised what Sea trout will take. I tied a red bloodworm the last day it seemed to do the trick. Best of luck to you!
