Quick will get better, you need players like quickley who will battle him in practices and hopefully it will project on the court, you need balance like that.
Tbh he doesn't need to be taller, he uses his size well to his advantage and is already inside dominant in scoring against bigs, if he can grow defensively and continue this offensive path, he can be all star level.

The Mavs were not going to pay him like he's KD, LeBron, Kyrie, Giannis type of player. He's asking price was equal to an All-Star caliber player, despite never making an All-Star team selection. Imo, he's an 18-22 million a year, not a Max-Level player.

JB was a most consistent Maverick, in terms of scoring efficiency and plus/minus efficiency. Luka would put up bigger stats, but his shooting percentage wasn't always great. JB would efficiently score 16-24 a night and if Luka wasn't playing or if he's was injured, JB looked like an All-Star as the primary ball handler and with more shots. When Luka played, it did look like he'd deferred to Luka more times than he should have... an example would be this one time he scored 3 straight and in the next 5 possessions, they didn't go to him at all, he sat at the corner 3 and Luka dictated those next 5 possessions. JB was hot after those 3 made shots and Kidd and Luka should've gone to him or let him be the ballhandler at that time.
I honestly feel like Brunson & Spida can make formidable backcourt despite the size or lack there of . They both excel at breaking down defenses & creating their own shots. I hope it happens we need players wit heart and them 2 got that for sure. 🤞🏽🟧🟦
