I just realized that the 4-->8 counters off my copied Halana & Alena with Vorinclex in play should have been 6-->12, since it's H&A's power that determines the counters it places on something else, and the Ego is H&A(2)+4 counters. Whee. The little things that don't matter. This game was such a blast, as playing on EDHijinks always is, thanks to its amazing hosts and guests!
Somehow Old Gnawbone is going to end up on the Commander Banned list with the only explanation being "Come on, Wizards, you should know better".
Oh, come on -- I see Wizards banning Ancient Copper Dragon first. 😅

This never ceases to be the best EDH show. The banter is always so fun and entertaining and enhances the gameplay so much.
Can "Check the players and meet the decks" become a permanent thing??? My God was that a great way to start the intros, lost it completely 😂😂😂
As a meria player I'm unreasonably salty that Olivia didn't just tap the haywire mite to pay for its own ability
The difference between Gnawbone and the other three green cards in play that interact with artifacts is that Bootlegger’s Stash, Tireless Tracker, and the Steelseeker deal with lands. Gnawbone gets artifacts based on damage, an effect that shows up on another mythic rare dragon that’s red! Wow!

Just to be clear, Vorinclex was not goaded. It was not on the battlefield when the Geode Rager triggered. Therefore you could have attacked Eili, or you could have left it back to block.

I thought I did the thing to make the ding. I love Olivia aka EDH Mom, and Eilidh reminds me of a voice Kate McKennon does in her movies/SNL skits when she was on. So I am enjoying this channel so much, an honestly between Commander at home, Commandzone, and Elder Dragon Hijinks. I have been inspired to make/and remake 4 new decks. So thank you ladies Hijinks for the fun :D

@@ekplayscards I always have to deliberately leave out polyraptor because I tend to accidentally end up in infinite loops with no way out of them. But I'm a simple man - I just like to play big dinos and chomp stuff with them.

I completely forgot about Biophagus, and I have an almost complete Chishiro deck that can greatly benefit from bs like that. Just added Drannith Ruins, so all I still want is a Kodama of the West Tree and a Llanowar Reborn and I’ll be in business.

at 47:11 the Stonecoil actually couldn't have attacked the Teferi because it was Olivia's and it disappeared when she died

I think that the stonecoil serpent would have disappeared when Olivia was knocked out, and thus the Amazonian swing out would not have seemed anywhere near as profitable.

Counter argument. Green is about nature and many rocks are formed naturally including gemstones which are considered treasures so therefore old gnawbones is completely acceptable

Couldn't Olivia have used the bootleggers stash to tap lands before it was her turn to make treasure tokens, or when she wanted to cast a spell tap land to create an artifact treasure token and tap (not sack) that fore mana ?
29:45 - (-_-) Also incase no one was aware Amazonian upon moving to combat was stopped and Beast Within was cast. This resets priority and puts her back in main phase one where she could have recast her Commander and then announced to move back to combat once again. Never know when the small amount of damage will matter :D

Headology missed Taferi triggers when she 0 him with vorinclex on the field, that would have put 2 loyalty on him. Also, she missed a draw trigger at the beginning of that turn to put a counter on her spirit and taferi also. Taferi is a bit demanding of attention. Many many triggers
