I find every time I add something to dress up one piece, it only makes the untouched items looks worse in my head. Like the alternator and bracket in cast gray versus so much in gloss black. It's like a never ending process to match everything. I never recognized your carbon wiper tray. Is that hydrodipped or wrapped?
There wasn't a good way of setting up the camera where I wouldn't have been blocking the camera. Plus, my routing is a bit different than a factory C5 Corvette, so showing wouldn't have been helpful to the overwhelming majority of people.
I have a corvette that I built and didn’t know you could cap the vent and buy a breather filter where the oil cap is. That’s a really good idea and I’m gonna try it
My main reasoning is that when I pulled the hose off of the to check it, there was SO MUCH crap in it. There was a lot of dirt and stuff. I don't think any of it actually made it in the motor, but I didn't like it, so I wanted to find an alternative.
My routing is going to be different than most people's because I'm running vacuum block for additional ports, so I don't think my way would work for you
Shoot. I actually don't remember. Unfortunately, I don't have that info anymore. I do know that I found it on the forums, though. Try searching "243 head auxiliary bolt size" or something like that.
I ended up putting one on my C5 Z06 they work well..

I'm right there with you. I will be having the alternator and bracket done in black as well.
The wiper cowl is actually real carbon
So why didn’t you show the actual install of the catch can unit ? I am looking for a video of one being installed and a good brand-name to buy.

@@ChaseFarrow do you mind sharing a link to the vented filler cap or where you purchased it?
I am installing a btr intake and catch can , how did you route the catch can lines ?

What size bolt goes into the head for the mounting bracket?

@@ChaseFarrow thank you for responding!
@@TJsVette No problem at all. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!
@ChaseFarrow I found it. It is a M10×1.5 regular thread bolt. I am working on my catch can now.
