Civil War at Cedars Park Day

1642 English Civil War 17th Century re-enactment (British Civil War), with musketeer re-enactor from English Civil War Society (ECWS) gather at the site of, Theobalds Palace, Cedars Park complete with cannons. The English Civil War reenactors in reenactment clothing recreate battles and skirmishes from the 1642 English Civil War attired in realistic looking costumes and uniforms of the English Civil War period.
Sir Marmaduke Rawdon's Regiment of Foote, members of the English Civil War society, recreate events of the English Civil War. The events include battles of the English Civil War, which also includes engaging activities that really explain the English Civil War for kids, and camp life of the 1640s. There are various hands on games and tasks which the public can participate in including pike target practice.
The English Civil War Society re-enactors create a fantastic day for all. The imagery, the events, and recreation of camp life are so well thought out and researched: an English Civil War tableau.
The event was filmed in Cedars Park, Cheshunt, which has recently received Heritage Lottery Funding, and Big Lottery Funding to restore the Hertfordshire historical park.
Cedars Park is conveniently located near to Junction 25 of the M25.
