We have a 23 Debut Edition w/2yr free EVgo. Don't feel guilty about using the perk. You have every right to the chargers. Esp if you are doing 50k miles per year. That is going to be a big perk. Enjoy! thx for the video. I enjoyed watching.

Enjoyed the video! Couple questions if u don’t mind. Looking at buying one out of state. Do they give you the charging card at the dealership. Wasn’t sure if I could use the credit for the trip back to our home state or pay out of pocket for the time being. Can you route your trips to specifically stop at the EVgo charging stations so u can use those credits on a regular basis and lastly was the color choice of the vehicle a difficult one? I love that color but the wife is favoring the white one. Much Thanks and best of luck with it.

The dealership has to setup the charging for you with your email address. It just magically gets added to your evgo account. It took about a week or so until mine activated. I would plan on paying for charging at first.
They have some amazing colors. I really liked the silver in the sun. The metallic flakes in the paint sold it to me.

Bought my '24 Lyriq Sport 3 in June. Love it. Thinking of getting another one. I too have charging at home, but am taking full advantage of the 2 year EVgo perk. Why not? Can't wait for the Tesla charging to open up for the added piece or mind and convenience. Thanks for sharing your experience.

    Hey Travis,
I saw that you can add different displays to your main gauge cluster from another video.
In the main infotainment there should be something called Vehicle Status > Energy Info > Energy Usage > selecting one should allow you to hit the 'add to main driver display'.

Great video thanks! I see it was a pretty hot day too. I definitely think there are some vehicle specific issues out there that are giving some people bad charging experiences. It seems like the majority have nice charge curves, but some are still dropping down to 50 kWh after just a few minutes of charging. Not sure what’s going on there.

@@carslover1384 it varies based on where you live and your energy provider or fueling station of choice. Here’s some guesses
It has around 100kWh battery. My home charging is around $.10/kWh - so $10 for home. My normal charging stop is around .35/kWh - so $35 to charge on the road.

I’m absolutely getting the free charging. Saying you are blocking the charger is like telling a mechanic to fix his own car in his garage even though his shop would do it for free just because it’s taking a reservation spot for a potential customer. That’s ridiculous. Or if I get stock options at work should I not take them so I am not taking them for the public who wants to buy at full price? Again, ridiculous.

In parking lots drivers should be yielding to pedestrians and pedestrians should be using crosswalks where available and maintaining situational awareness (not have their nose in their phones excessively).
