Thank you, I was ready to throw mine in the trash. Couldn’t get it to charge, sent it back to the manufacturer twice and couldn’t find anyone to look at it. What a simple fix. Started charging right away!
I was ready to toss mine after hours of messing with it. The terminals looked spotless but I tried cleaning as you suggested. It worked. Thank you. It was driving me crazy
It sounds crazy but it works!!! Glad it helped you out. I really wish these worked better with pet hair lol mine always gets clogged on the smallest amount.
@@BreakFixRepair It's going back and forth.. I have 2 of them, 1 is the stormtrooper. That one says,. "there's no one here" and just stops at that point . They both don't return to the base. Have exactly the same problem. It's just that the stormtrooper says something lol
My vacuum has been sitting offline in the other room so long that it most likely discharged to 0, now when I plugged it in, the lights work and it goes online, just won't charge so can't start the cleaning routine - tells me to check the battery connection. Pins are cleaned, there's power in the charger - otherwise the robot would not even turn on.
I had that happen a couple times. It’s frustrating but here’s what I had to do. Use the emergency switch underneath to turn the vacuum off. Put it on the charger for 5-10 minutes. Then turn the switch on and plug up for 5-10 more minutes (or half an hour). You may have to do this a couple of times to get it to start taking a charge but it’s worked for me in the past. Let me know if it works for you too. Hope this helps.

Glad to help out!!
We have an ilife vacuum, Dobby, and last year we had the same issue. We just had to clean his terminals and he was good to go!
Love to hear this helped too!
Mine charges, + it starts.. then after like 50 cm going back and forth it stops working. Any idea what the problem is?
Does it return to the base or turn off? What’s it exactly do?

@@BreakFixRepair Thanks for answering. I tried that the whole day today, but it is still not charging.
@dianasaar did you say there was a battery message on it? What exactly did it say?
@BreakFixRepair It's "Please check the battery connection"
@@dianasaaris it fixed ?I am in the same place now .. I also think it might have been totally discharged
