In fnaf 6, scraptrap's forehead is actually normal. It's just that his head is so big, it makes him look smaller, cartoonish, or child-like. And in UCN, people say most of the jumpscares are PNGs moving on the screen, but it actually has motion blur so the animations do actually have animation frames to them

    • @TimI94
      @TimI94 11 месяцев назад +162

If I'm not wrong, some jumpscares in UCN are just png because of clickteam engine limitations.

Yeah it’s his prepositions his head is too big his ears are too small. If his head was small and the ears were bigger it might not have been so bad. There’s also the organic corpus there’s too much flesh and not enough bone. I have no problem with an organic corpus but the bones are just wrong. His palm should be in 5 bits not 1 and he should have a rib cage.

It's fascinating to me that there is such a universal consensus that FNAF was best when it was a modern folk tale or ghost story, with analogue horror elements, but it has instead consistently gotten more and more brightly colored sci fi the longer the series goes along.

    • @AugAug989
      @AugAug989 9 месяцев назад +52

Not really. The only “bright” games in the mainline are 6 and SB. And in 6 it works because it’s a different tone it’s going for.

@@AugAug989I would somewhat include 4. As a whole it wasn’t a bright game, and was arguably darker in terms of the lore, but it was the beginning of the end for the fnaf we knew.

This happens with lots of "horror" game series for some reason. For example, COD zombies was similar, where the story wasn't told right to you, and you sort of had to piece it together, but as time went on, it became super sci-fi -ey and it lost all of the horror elements.

    • @QueSeraSeraaaa
      @QueSeraSeraaaa 9 месяцев назад +13

I don't understand how people can be "scared" in rooms where you got the neon lights anywhere.. You can see where you are going without issues.. It's not like you will crash in a box or die by the hands of a weird creature who stalk your moves.. it's still too many safe to be an "horror game"..
SteelWool unironically removed the lines that could make an horror and some ideas, like Freddy chasing after Gregory, not befriending him out of nowhere.

There should have been some kind of hint on Freddy.
The two other baddies peek in from the door and you then lock them out so of course you assume freddy does the same but he doesn't.
You see him in the camera and wonder what the fuck do i do. You probably try closing the door but due to rng there is a chance he will take a long while until he leaves and you don't want to waste your power holding down the door so you don't hold it down and then you die.
Freddys mechanic should have maybe been different as in the early nights the rng is "nice" to you which means the baddies don't move much but that means freddy will stay at your door for a long while and its completely up to rng when he attacks and you either keep your door down until he is gone causing you to lose a lot of power or you close the door every now and then hoping freddy tries to attack when the door is down.
Of course in this i assume you are new to the game and you don't know the 420 strats

My main problems with Security Breach are the environment, and the free roam. As a lot of people pointed out, the environment in the base game is brightly lit with vibrant colours everywhere so there’s pretty much no sense of fear (which I guess Ruin kinda fixed) and the free roam doesn’t help. A factor that made the older games scary for me, was your movements being limited to just looking left and right, and even in games like Fnaf for and Sister Location, your movements still extremely limited. The movement limitations in the previous games really gave a sense of helplessness and just knowing that if you were caught, it’s game over. In security breach however, because it’s completely free roam, that sense of helplessness is completely gone, especially considering you can hide inside of Freddy for the majority of the game if you’re being chased

tired of FNaFWorld being left out 😤
I see other commenters making their own lists so I'll contribute
FNaF1: I actually can't really decide. Maybe the fact that the whole place feels kinda random? Like it doesn't make a whole lot of sense as a building housing a kid's pizza place. If that makes sense?
FNaF2: Character mislayering. If you think about how many characters can appear in the main hall at once, versus the fact that you can ever only see up to two is a little frustrating. I also find it incredibly odd that BB has only two camera renders (Game Room where he starts, and Left Vent) and the fact that Mangles renders seem to be layered above everything else makes these two characters in particular feel really unfinished
FNaF3: The Phantom AI in the later nights is almost completely impossible to avoid. And the fact that a single Phantom is enough to lead Springtrap directly to you in just seconds no matter how far away you are.
FNaF4: I really gotta agree on the retconned Dream Theory shit like fr what was Scott thinking
FNaFWorld: The insane power scaling. You can become completely untouchable and easily slaughter all enemies in one area but then get taken out super easily in the next area. And some later boss fights make Gift Boxes the only way to survive. Idk about everyone else but I think constantly having to spam Gift Boxes in order to win is a little lame.
Sister Location: I gotta agree on the lack of replayability.
FFPS: The office segments and all the tools available were so overwhelming and confusing when I first played. I still didn't understand it until ItzTaken's video explaining how FFPS worked.
UCN: It's the still-image jumpscares for me too chief. NightmareMangle has such a cool design but you're gonna disrespect them by giving them nothing but a shaking image? Smh.
FiS2: COSMIC FREEWAY. That area of the game was so frustrating! I hated getting stuck in loops wandering around for an hour only to accidentally miss a warp and die instantly.
HW: Full recreations of FNaF1, 2 and 3, but then just random minigames for 4 and SL? Kiiiinda wacky. Especially when you take into account that there's minigames for FNaF1 and 3 as well.
SD: Everybody already knows. The microtransactions. Also sucks that the game also never became accessible to so many devices.
    Fury's Rage: Pinky Pills 🤢
SB: All 👏 The 👏 Cut 👏 Content 👏 This game looked so freaking cool, and I'm in love with getting to explore older maps. There are so many rooms and hallways that we don't get to explore and that's so frustrating for me I WANNA SEE THE REST
Ruin: Literally every "threat" feels so laughably weak. These characters can't path or chase for shit. It is insanely easy to run this game deathless with the only exception being the Mini Music Men but only because of bugs.

My personal thing I hate from each FNAF game:
FNAF 1 - The luck factor. When it comes to the power consumption and how the AI of FNAF 1 behaves… the game becomes a huge gamble and can often lead to a bad run because things never have a consistent pattern
FNAF 2 - Difficulty scaling. I like how FNAF 2 is much harder… but boosting the characters up to 11 and making the game ludicrously difficult by night 3 is an easy turn off.
FNAF 3 - Presentation. The ugly blend of green, lackluster jumpscares, and redundant gameplay makes FNAF 3 the least scariest in my eyes
FNAF 4 - Audio. Having to listen to animatronic breathing in a game that may have a ton of noises that sound the same make for honestly an extremely uncomfortable and frustrating experience. (I couldn’t even beat Night 6 in this game)
FNAF SL - Night 4. Nuff said
FNAF PS - Lack of memorability. Despite being a neat conclusion to the second anthology of the story, PS is relatively forgotten mostly because of its gameplay and lack of horror
UCN - Dee dee. I fucking hate how she can just show up and fuck up your whole run by throwing some new character in with little to no warning whatsoever.
SB - Performance. Quite literally Cyberpunk 2077 for children. What a disaster on launch

The point about security breach is so true. If you compare AstralSpiff's playthrough and Markiplier's playthrough, you see this immensely. Spiff only got annoyed from a game development point of view with some pretty big bugs thatmade it clear that the game was never game tested, but enjoyed it regardless. Poor mark on the other hand, he was the victim of the games many faults and bugs and you could see he did not enjoy playing it as he got further through it. Especially the chica death after 6am that put 2 hours of significant progress down the drain bc of no saves whatsoever

How is it that Scott somehow got progressively worse at animating jumpscares.
All the jumpscares in FnAf 1 were on point.
FNaF 2 is where we started getting some stinkers, with foxy and some of the toys just flying into the camera, and the others just panning up.
FNaF 3 was decently animated, but the smooth animation was wasted on Peepaw Willy just casually waltzing up to the camera in the least threatening way possible.
FnaF 4 is just a personal take for me, but I think the camera jerking around and the nightmares flapping their jaws like pac-man just looks kinda silly.
Sister Location was okay, not really many stand outs, but the face plate gimmick was neat.
And then in FnaF 6/Pizza Sim Scott just GAVE UP on Jumpscare animations and just straight up popped the animatronics in your face out of the nowhere, regardless if it contradicts your current perspective.

fnaf 1: i would also have to agree about freddy's mechanic. i like the idea of a complicated character you have to learn over time, but for some people freddy just kills them and they dont know why. also once you fully understand him he basically does nothing. it definitely doesnt help that scott cawthon had no idea how to handle him in game either
fnaf 2: the fact that 80% of the cast is literally no threat to you and work almost identical to each other
fnaf 3: yeah i agree about the springtrap hiding thing, i like it in concept, and how its done in fnaf 1, but in fnaf 3 its almost impossible to see springtrap to the point where its quite frankly rediculous.
fnaf 4 is how theres no risk vs reward to the gameplay, you just run back and forth in a specific pattern and the only hard part is figuring out that pattern.
fnaf SL i hate the lack of replayability and how everything is so boring once you already know what happens
fnaf 6 its the fact that unless you are going for an ending nothing you do really matters since you can just ignore the tycoon segments or even the whole game pretty much
ultimate custom night is how most of the characters do absolutely nothing and only a few are actually a threat, and how several characters just kill you or dont with little way to stop it
for fnaf help wanted its the fact that the gameplay is quantity over quality

What i hate in each game (lore and gameplay wise)
Fnaf 1: Freddy being focused on the cam, not knowing wtf happened to Phone Guy like mf dies and gets never mentioned again
Fnaf 2: Too many Animatronics, the whole Jeremy being the Bite of 87 theory stuff like dude spends 6 hours there then makes a dayshift too and suddenly he dies like people expect him to be constantly awake doing shit
Fnaf 3: Can't get past night 2 because Springtrap finds somehow always a way to me besides that i use the audio lure, the Golden Freddy having 2 Souls theory
Fnaf 4: can't get past night 1 since i NEVER hear breathing despite using Headphones and if i hear breathing someone goes through the other door to kill me, CC not being the Bo87 Bite Victim
Fnaf SL: night 4 i use every strategy known to man and still die, Crying Child being now unimportant cuz Elizabeth is more important for some reason
Pizzeria Simulator: Not having any clue about how tf you can beat the later nights and any sound clue is just not there, Molten MCI theory How tf are the dead kids like Cassidy inside Molten Freddy if the Animatronics got destroyed and the kids just disappear after William being springlocked (And no he didn't collected their Remnant in that minigame in his room is clearly just the Spring Bonnie suit)
UCN: Any Animatronic that needs special attention like Funtime Foxy or this Mr. Hippo mofo (He's fun, but it's annoying to check EVERYTHING in 50/20 mode and i didn't played 50/20 mode yet and when i have him active he's just annoying), you have no clue about Old Man consequences until playing Fnaf World and he's one of the few hints that this game even has lore
Fnaf VR: Funtime Animatronics in the Fnaf 4 bedroom are cursed asf, having no clue how tf Glitchtrap made Vanessas Personality split until Ruin
Fnaf Security Breach: If you do this one level with that disc in the Main area you easily get spotted from Roxy even though she's like 500 Metres away from you (God i hated that level, couldn't finish it without unknowingly glitching (Roxy saw me and i went inside the elevator and i was going back to the entrance that made Roxy and Chica despawn when i was back)), Vanny being in the "True Ending" completely irrelevant despite her "repairing" him
Ruin: Endos, *THE MIMIC* being a thing to either retcon Burntrap and to please the mofos who actually buy the books and say "DuDE tHe bOoKs aRe gAmES cAnON" okay and? Remnant existed in The fourth closet before it appeared in the games so it is canon too right? Right? (Mimic could just have a different backstory and the Books Mimic is f*cking Optimus Prime that's how often he changes his appearance and inside Ruins Story he makes no sense at all)

Springtrap disappearing and not being able to find is a core aspect of the gameplay unlike previous games he is sneaky, he has 2 possible positions in a camera instead of 1, he doesn't have a preset route to move, he can go backwards or forwards, go through vents from the further camera directly to your office etc.
Meanwhile fnaf2 becomes more of a frenetic point and click challenge rather than a horror game i mean you only use cameras for music box. but in FNAF3 you actually need to use all cameras and keep track of springtrap, the fear that the previous games induce by watching the animatronics get closer to your office in the first nights is now present through all nights in fnaf 3

I can't remember who discovered this but basically 4/20 isn't the hardest challenge of FNAF 1

FNAF: I’m honestly inclined to agree about Freddy’s mechanic. It’s kind of like the whole Toy Bonnie thing you mentioned with the blackouts except this time, it’s Freddy and how long he lingers at the door.
FNAF 2: I think this is less an issue with the game itself but more so an issue with how the lore progressed. The lore’s gotten to the point where it’s debated whether we play as Michael or Jeremy and when we do. We have to play as Jeremy at some point due to the fact that he took the day shift after that establishment went on lockdown.
FNAF 3: I found that the lure mechanic works better in Help Wanted than it does in FNAF 3. Right when Springtrap gets to the doorway, I find it is so hard to lure him away into the room by the exit.
FNAF 4: Sometimes the breathing sound is very prominent, other times it takes a bit to be able to hear. Other than that, I don’t really have a lot of criticism.
FNAF 4 Halloween Edition: Same as FNAF 4. Also, Nightmare Mangle became very underrated over time.
FNAF World: It’s a good game but I think it was released at a bad time. I think that’s one of the reasons it was received badly at first.
FNAF World Halloween Edition: Chica’s Magic Rainbow is very funny but the initial fight where you play as Chica takes an extremely long time given that you basically have to die a ton of times to learn how it works.
FNAF Freddy in Space 2: Not really much criticism for me. It’s simple, but the game seems fun and it was for a good cause which I appreciate. I do wish that L.O.L.Z.H.A.X. became a character in Fury’s Rage.
FNAF Security Breach Fury’s Rage: Once again, it’s a game that does what it needs to do. It’s simple but that’s how it should be. I wish L.O.L.Z.H.A.X. was in it though.
FNAF Sister Location: Funtime Foxy seemed like a really overshadowed character and pretty much got the Chica treatment. I’m also still not too sure how I feel about remnant. It’s a little too sci-fi in my opinion.
FNAF Sister Location Custom Night: I feel like Circus Baby or Ennard should’ve been in the roster.
FNAF Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator: I really wish there was a better way to be able to hear the animatronics in the vents and I agree with Scraptrap’s design.
FNAF Ultimate Custom Night: Some of the jump scares, such as Withered Bonnie, Ennard and Nightmare Mangle are only moving still images. There’s also jumpscares such as Ballora and Circus Baby that have the only animation being the faceplates.
FNAF VR Help Wanted: There’s still quite a bit of content missing from the game such as showtime.
FNAF VR Help Wanted Curse of Dreadbear: There’s not really much critique I have here except that I wish Dreadbear as a character was used more.
FNAF Help Wanted: It’s less scary but more hard on flat mode. I had more fun with it in VR. Same goes with Curse of Dreadbear flat mode.
FNAF AR Special Delivery: I really wish that the developers came back to work on it. It’s seriously a fun game and I have quite a few nostalgic memories from playing it a few years ago, trying to get plush suits and CPU’s. As of right now, Special Delivery hasn’t had content or anything new in over a year and I really hope Lefty and the Glamrocks will be added someday. The game was also a bit buggy and while the bugs have died down a bit, they are not completely gone. The FNAF AR Special Delivery Dark Circus: Encore! DLC actually provided some fun gameplay although I do wish it had Magician Mangle and Clown Springtrap in it.
FNAF Security Breach: It was a fun game with a very cool location but it was very buggy at first. That has lessened however, Security Breach is ultimately not as scary as the others. It also seems like Help Wanted, Special Delivery and Security Breach are just here to continue a story that should’ve ended a while ago.
FNAF Security Breach Ruin: This DLC did a great job of bringing the scariness that Security Breach was lacking and it was ultimately a good DLC. Extremely good as a matter of fact. However, the same point with Security Breach continuing a lore that should’ve ended a while ago still applies here. I also don’t really like that Ruin causes a lot of confusion in the community regarding details and endings. They added so many details that refer to the Vanny ending but they also added so many details that refer to the Burntrap ending and that’s what confuses me. Perhaps both could be canon?

    • @IgnitedBonnie196
      @IgnitedBonnie196 11 месяцев назад +3

For the FNAF: Security Breach - Ruin DLC, I can only assume it left off from the Princess Quest ending as Vanny's mask was left at the front of the pizza plex which is where Cassie finds the mask, and as for the prototype Freddy I believe it could be a possible redesign of Glamrock Freddy or simply a variant of Glamrock Freddy! (I personally believe it's a variant of Glamrock Freddy as he has a gift inside of his chestplate, and at the start of FNAF: Security Breach, Glamrock Freddy gives Gregory a present that was inside of his chestplate).

1 thing I hate the most about every fnaf:
    1. the night length
    2. toy bonnie not only doing the black out mechanic, but being the only animatronic to do a black out mechanic that changes in length randomly.
    3. Springtrap and nightmare puppet not being able to appear on the cam at the same time despite both actually being there
    4. if you close the door just after a move interval whilst someone is at the door, they will not move until the next move interval, meaning it wastes a lot of time, and you can also hold the door until just before the move interval and still die.
SL. The fact that there is a new thing to do every night, complete 180 to every other simple fnaf game. Either that or night 4 being stupid.
FFPS. The randomness of the mechanics making it feel like a dice roll to win. either that or scraptraps model.
    UCN. Toy Freddy.
VR. the janky and unreliability control of VR. Ik its less of a game problem and more a VR problem itself but still.
SB. the ending fight against burntrap.
Ruin. What did they do to my boy Monty...

another thing about fnaf 3, spring trap was a huge addition to the lore, and it helps build up anticipation to the end. where we find out who he is. he would hide on the cameras, and it would show intelligence, and other times would stare at the cameras like he knows your there. and i guess it kind of balances it out since it’s the easiest game, and you only had to look for him

In security breach I found that in general when you fail a task and go back to do it, it stops being scary and is just annoying (especially when you stay). But wost of all is the Burn it All Down ending.
Springtrap is hard to see on the monitors due to the low resolution by default that you can't change on PS5 so I pretty much had to guess where he was. Also at first it was believed to be a glitch but when Roxy shows up Freddy normally gets hacked at the same time, kicking you out right when shes in the room. The only solution is to hide behind the bed. This is actually easier than doing the ending normally since when Roxy is in the room, no one else shows up, including the blob, which I didn't even know could be a problem.

Correction on Glitchtrap: current theories are believing that the chip we take out of Baby, that mimics Charlotte, who has a Spring Bonnie plush, but is filled with Henry’s agony, was the chip used for him. Being connected to the remade games, the program, while already hostile and using the bunny theme, became even more like William. But he isn’t William. I agree on each topic you disliked except Help Wanted’s. For me, I dislike the core differences between its versions, between quality and the lore that’s implemented.

I can only really speak for the first four games as they’re the only ones I’ve actually played myself but I would say…
FNAF - Yeah, I’d agree about Freddie’s mechanics I still didn’t really know that that was a thing until watching this video and got jumped by Freddy so many times because of it. Only thing I’ll say is that the phone guys message should be more subtle than the way you put it but I understand you’re not trying to spend ages on each game diving into specifics like that.
FNAF 2 - Yeah, again I’d agree about the music box on later nights but obviously there has to be a rise in difficulty from n1 onwards to some degree. I also just felt like there’s too easy of a pattern you can get into to beat the game, sure the timing gets very specific on the later nights but it just felt like I could just do a like 5 step routine in my head and repeat it endlessly to beat the night which made me loose the true horror elements of it.
FNAF 3 - I just remember hating the phantom puppet as I kept forgetting to switch cameras out of urgency, then would get deaded anyway because of the damn puppet getting all up in my face. I disagree about how hard it can be to see springtrap sometimes, even if you’re a first time player a) why are you playing Fnaf 3 first, b) even if you’re a first time player, if you begin to understand the mechanics you can just figure out the spots that springtrap hides in and you’re set.
FNAF 4 - I personally just didn’t like the gameplay and that’s about it, but I appreciate how the gameplay fits into the lore of game itself and I personally disagree with you on the whole dream thing. I’m not really sure how it was perceived by the wider fanbase at the time but I never perceived it as making the whole franchise to have taken place in a dream, just that we were a) playing as the crying child during his nightmares (due to his fear of the animatronics) in the nights leading up to the bite with night 5 taking place whilst he’s in the coma hence seeing the IV and other secrets next to the bed, or b) we are playing as the crying child during his coma for the entire game and the secrets next to the bed are just eluding to the ending right before we find out about it. If I was gonna have a critique about the lore it would be that at the time, we all thought that "okay this obviously has to be the bite of '87" when in reality "no no no guys, this is a different bite that you guys don’t know about yet, the bite of '83" like what? No wonder we were confused.

I’m not necessarily disagreeing with you but in terms of the 4th game, he’s referring to the fanbases perception *at the time*. At the time we were led to believe in the dream theory (fun fact: there was a small reference to this in the fnaf movie) and it tore the whole fanbase apart until further theories developed and the games continued. It was meant to be a closure to the whole series and as such, didnt work well at all. We obviously have more info now and have had more time to theorise but it didn’t work well at the time of it’s release as an intended ending

It didn’t feel excessive or unnatural at least is what I’m saying, but the story just didn’t feel like a FNaF story to me personally.

Here’s 1 thing I don’t like about each FNAF game.
FNAF: Though it’s a classic it's harder to get scared of it after multiple play throughs..
FNAF 2: The music box which takes up way too much time.
FNAF 3: It's the least scary of the original 4 games.
FNAF 4: I get it's just a fictional game but I believe it's way edgy and dark to the point where it's not fun anymore.
    FNAF World: Update 2
FNAF SL: The gameplay is now completely scripted in this one where after multiple play throughs it's no longer fun.
FNAF 6: There's no endless tycoon mode.
UCN: Some of the character voices are pretty bad and hard to understand like the Withered animatronics.
FNAF HW: It didn’t need to be part of the lore
    FNAF AR: It exists.
    FNAF SB: Almost everything.

I feel like after pizzeria simulator, and custom night everything went a little garbled in the lore even more than it already was, sci-fi horror and a full on child friendly approach was a very bad idea. Yes kids could ply all the game before but the tone and scare factor of security breach and ruin were terrible. It felt more like a FNAF version of poppy playtime than anything that FNAF has had before.

Yk in my opinion I feel the worst thing about fnaf world (because you didn’t mention it) is the secret Halloween animatronics. The fact you can access them through a secret tree is veary annoying because new players can just get one Halloween animatronic and basically have a guaranteed chance to beat the game. Even on hard mode just 1 Halloween animatronic can beat Scott. I feel you should only be able to access them AFTER beating Scott in hard mode. They shouldn’t be able to be accessed in normal and should only be accessed in hard once beating Scott.

the video game world and real world of fnaf have been linked since the early parts of the series, help wanted was not the first to do it. the fnaf 2 minigames are real world arcade games which were altered by the strength of the negative events that took place in the real world, which is a concept very often talked about in fnaf world. also fnaf world's secret route has you setting up the fnaf 3 easter eggs, which again allow you to access arcade machines and create links between the real and digital world

I disliked FNAF 3, due to the obnoxious "hallucinations characters who mess with your systems".

It's more green, and this color is usually more positive, so it doesn't help.

in FNAF 4 your actually playing as Michael afton because in UNC they have the nightmare animatronics while if in the game you were CC then William wouldn’t know about them since there in evans mind, and during the games were you play as Michael you can see drawings of the nightmares.

If I had to give my takes for every game...
For fnaf 1, I think it's just how bland the gameplay loop is. Like naturally it's the first game in the series so I don't expect it to be very special, but when the strategy to beat the "hardest mode" is just change to cam 4b, check the left light, flip the camera, check the left light, repeat, with the only exception being having to check the right when chica appears in the right corner, it's pretty stale and very easy.
For fnaf 2, I absolutely agree on toy bonnie. He's way too big of an rng factor in an otherwise very skill driven game. Although the fact that office animatronics can randomly end your night if the music box is low is also up there, I think toy bonnie has made a lot more of an impact on my runs.
For fnaf 3, it has to be getting a phantom trigger with a video error. The fact that you can't see the phantoms and they can still get you is absolutely absurd.
For fnaf 4, I also have to go with the gameplay loop, except unlike fnaf 1 which is boring and easy, fnaf 4 is repetitive and mentally draining. It feels like I could randomly die at any moment, and I have to constantly execute incredibly well or I die. Having to do the same loop over and over again with just how stressful every action is simply makes for a painful experience. Nightmare's parts are especially grueling.
For fnaf sl, I have to go with the ennard boss fight. The minigame to get to it is stupid and pretty much a requirement to look up since the steps are so specific and tight, then actually throwing attempts into it is just awful, since you have to go through the 5th night again every single time. Not to mention that the ennard boss fight itself involves a lot of rng and has too many factors that can completely decimate a run.
For ffps, I don't like how all of the animatronics behave the exact same. I get what scott was going for, with the animatronics being completely optional and the difficulty simply increasing exponentially as you get more, but I think it could've been cool if there were some different mechanics, like maybe one or two that didn't rely COMPLETELY on AUDIO (I cannot hear very well out of my left ear).
For fnaf ucn, I honestly really don't like just how many of the animatronics either share mechanics or just kind of don't do anything on the average night. I know it was probably made that way simply so it was both easier to develop and easier to make in a way where it would be possible, but I would've appreciated a bit more variety, especially with some of the more popular characters. Springtrap was done dirty.
For fnaf hw, the lolbit stage. I want to find whoever pitched it and crucify them. All jokes aside, I also hate what fnaf help wanted did with the story. I feel like ffps and ucn were both great send-offs to the story of the first 7 games, and help wanted just kinda saying "nah" and bringing afton back was a massive let down.
For fnaf sb, there are a lot of things I really don't like about it, and choosing one is quite difficult. But if I had to pick one, it'd probably be the overall challenge balance of the game. Stuff like freddy, the fizzy faz drinks, and the running shoes kinda add up to negate most challenges and make the game a boring objective to objective fest, but at the same time some parts of the game just get actually with how difficult they can be, especially with animatronics randomly teleporting to make up for their horrible AI. Also the artificial difficulty of incredibly limited saves after 6 am makes me super glad that they never patched being able to grab the head in roxy raceway again to set the clock back while keeping the endgame condition, because there's no way I'd ever actually play the game like that.
Thank you for the interesting discussion topic.
