You started on a triple again, did you not learn from last time lol 😜 I did some building work on the bass maltings years ago when I think padleys motors ( Sleaford motor company ) had something to do with it, another set of great sounding beers nice work cheers 👍🍻
@@beerkitreviewspartridge1083 yes it absolutely would but we wanted to make it as easy and affordable for first timers as poss. In the instructions (and soon to be appearing tip video) it recommends siphoning to pot then back into cleaned/sanitised keg for carbonating. Also, we plan to release a deluxe kit in due course with demijohn/siphon/bottles. Cheers guys 🍺
Great vid chaps. Chimay is pronounced as "She-may" (or she may not!). The malt miller clone kit you brewed up is based on a recipe by Jamil (pronounced Jam-eel) Zainasheff . He has some great homebrewing content on "the brewing Network" podcast. Great homebrewer who has turned pro starting up the Heretic Brewing company in the States,.
Thanks lads for another informative and good humoured video. The last time I saw the top ten board I think The Bosses Boss and Proper Job, both from Dark Rock were your top two. Just wondering whether anything has replaced these? Cheers!
Brilliant review yet again. Having just acquired a large pan to make my first part-grain, which would you recommend I start with, the Bass? Keep up the good work guys!
@@beerkitreviewspartridge1083 Thank you Brewmeister. I quite fancied the Bierra Italia from Dark Rock, would I have to do anything different for the carbonation? I usually prime my bottles or barrel with brewing sugar, would that be the same?
I made the St Peter's IPA kit a few months back and I agree with you guys, whilst it is a really nice beer, I found the kit version lacking in hops - it lacked the hoppy punch of the commercial bottled version of St Peter's IPA - which to me tastes that bit better.
I don't know where you can get a similar kit to Bruce's dogbolter, but couple of years ago I spoke to the head brewer from Gadds brewery in Ramsgate. And he used to be the brewer at Bruce's brewery back in the day. The beer is produced today by Gadds ! It's a dark Porter at 5.6 abv brewed with six different malts. It can be purchased online. I bought some at a festival together with a black prince Porter. (which I actually preferred) from Bexley brewery, a relatively new micro brewery, which is based in erith on the anchor bay stretch of the River Thames. 🍻
Fantastic as usual guys. I keep meaning to ask, what do you do with the few beers you don't rate. I know it's not often but over the years there have been a few, do you perceiver with them or dispose of them?
Brilliant video as always guys. With you now racking the kit brews straight into a Corny keg, do you guys use the priming sugar in the kits or stick it straight onto CO2?
Another excellent beer review, thanks for your time and effort putting these together. A quick question, are there any malt extract kits that can hold their own against a full grain ale or are they just not as good?
There not as good, but in away they hold there own Firstly there's the body the mouthful won't be the same but,the kit didn't take ya four hours to make and when you just haven't the time there sure as he'll are good enough Try some premium kits with one or two slight adjustments your going to a have a cracking beer
I'm from Australia and I can tell you nobody drinks Fosters, you walk into Pub and you will struggle to find Fosters on tap, I'm in Victoria mainland Australia, the main beer on tap is Carlton Draught and 'VB' Victoria Bitter, there are now better lager alternatives like Carlton Dry and many others, the craft beer scene has gone off down under and everyone is drinking craft beer, hoppy beers and also English ales and stouts etc which a lot of craft brewreys are brewing, large brewing companies have given 'Lager' a bad name by mass producing 'macro lagers' which are watered down and have adjuncts, there is nothing better than a good European Lager, Fosters is alright but there are much better Lagers that we could be exporting, it's a bit embarrassing really, keep up the good work lads
Cheers Peter Had that VB in the walkabout in Lincoln few years back,it was OK but not the greatest I've don't really drink larger unless it's really hot here which isn't that often then I may drink amstel or any other Danish beer, they all taste the same to me Craft beers are great but over priced in my mind some English classics are much better and better priced Anyway huzzah and happy brewing and drinking 👍🍻👍🍻
Yet another great video here. Thanks for the shout out too guys! Cheers!
As a new subscriber I'm loving your upbeat and fun videos, keep up the good work.
love bass if i ever see it in a pub always go for it cheers for the vid always interesting so see the kits gives me an idea as what to brew next
Keep up the excellent stuff chaps!! Also just realised I’m only 15 mins up the road from you!!! Hi from a local home brewer 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Great reviews once again eric n ernie. St Peter's kits, not had a bad one yet, cheers boys
The St Peter’s IPA is the only one from that range I haven’t brewed yet.. Following that review it’s now top of my list! Great content, keep it up!
Hey guys, thanks for subbing 👌 I (Tim) have been subbed to you for a few months now but Brew Bros have just subbed too. Love your work!
Cheers Tim 🍻
Watched the brewery in box, great vid very informative, just a thought would it better to ferment in a different vessel?

Another cracking video. Have you been tempted by the mangrove jacks cider kits? There’s one that you dry hop with citra. Who doesn’t love citra?!
Good evenin boys, just got meself the pinter. First tap is tomorrow. Hopefully it's a goodun. Cheers for the vids :)
Great video gents
Great video guys
I would like to ask a question..........
Do you make any water adjustments to any kits
Thanks
Gary 👍👍
Hi Gary no not really I just add pure brew but my friend as used bottled water before which seems to improve the brew
Great content chaps keep it coming, maybe try a kit or two from Get er Brewed, their Pimped up Pale Ale is a 10\10!!!
Is that a all grain kit Stephen
@@beerkitreviewspartridge1083 yep it's all grain and totally worth the effort trust me!!!
Looks like I'll be placing a order from them soon

I probably go for a part grain kit from dark rock, bathams a good all around bitter, proper job for some a bit more hoppy👍🍻

You dont need to add sugar to cornys, I just stick the gas on to it and purge the air out
