A little connection here, Peter Marshall hosted Hollywood Squares all those years, Marc Summers was actually slated to host the 1998 revival of Hollywood Squares at one point but after it became public knowledge that he has OCD it somehow gave him a reputation for being difficult to work with so they dropped him.
If you like Couch Potatoes, I uploaded three episodes on which I appeared in 1989 to my RUclips channel. The celebrity guests, in order, are Roger E. Mosley, Paul Petersen and "Buffalo Bob" Smith.
Of the four game shows on which I've been a contestant over the years, Couch Potatoes was the most fun. And I still have the La-Z-Boy recliner I received from the show. Still looks great and is super comfortable. The cash we won on the show, however, is long gone. Lol. Three of the four game shows I've been on are uploaded to my RUclips channel, with the exception of Weakest Link which RUclips blocked for a copyright issue. Not sure why, since a ton of people have uploaded Weakest Link.
Except of course Peter talks about 3rd Degree, which he ended up not hosting thanks to a dispute with COnvy. Peter sued Bert and CO., but dropped the lawsuit not long after when Convy got sick and died.
Apparently Peter said in an interview Bert had initially approached him about hosting win, lose or draw but Peter turned it down cause he hated the concept. Warner Brothers approached him with 3rd degree and even though he didn't really like the show he agreed to do the pilot, it got picked up and they signed up. Bert got fired from win lose or draw because they wanted someone younger so Bert decided to do 3rd degree and didn't tell Peter, he met with telepictures and they were the ones who told him he was out and Bert didn't even have the courtesy to tell him, plus they had a contract. Peter said he would have gladly talked to Bert about a buyout if it was that important to him but because he never did he sued him for breach of contract. Bert died before it could go to court and Peter said he knew he'd have won a lot of money but dropped the lawsuit because despite everything, He didn't want Bert's family to bear the brunt of that.
RIP: Peter Marshall 😢

Bert Convy saw where he can slip himself into the role he hired Marshall for

I created and produced Couch Potatoes 1,000 years ago, good to see it again
David Greenfield wish they could bring this back

"Bert & Burt" was the packager for "Win, Lose or Draw", repectively named for Convy and Reynolds.
Marc had fun
Yup

Actually Marshall was replaced at the last minute by Bert Convy
