We need to change the law so that we know upfront what our visit to the doctor will cost us out of pocket. Other countries do this. Why are we not doing this? This needs to change.
Lost our medicaid because we make $10 too much and oyr home was.paid for. Florida DCF said get rid of your house to get medicaid back. We did and now live in an rv. Now DCF wont give our medicaid back because we are elderly Americans, not migrants! Gave us a whole $23 food stamps and said dont use it all in one place! We are borh disabled and my husband has a heart monitor.
I was just notified that they will no longer be paying for my Medicare premium so they will be deducting $200 from my check for Medicare premiums. They really know how to stick it to us seniors. We are already struggling they just don't care about us. 😢😢
In our town we have a council on aging. They have the SHIP she is talking about. Some libraries have people who will come in to help you go over this process. I'm going to the council on aging this year and talk with someone who knows more about this than I do.

I received my letter from CMS the other day. I didn’t read anywhere that they are sending a new Medicare card. It does say nothing has changed in my coverage. I do read my statements when they come.
How do you know what was a legitimate charge and what wasn't? I'm sure these scam companies have different terms for medical equipment or procedures that the recipient won't know. Big problem.

I postponed going on Medicare because I have creditable coverage and the policies are either too expensive or have inadequate coverage so you need to buy extra plans of a different type to cover some of what is not covered by your coverage.
I was notified about a year ago about some medical file transfer foul-up and there was a data breach on that one and so this seems to keep happening over and over again

Make sure you read the entire plan this year. Your monthly medication may no longer be on their formulary ( list of covered meds), the copays for hospital stays and services may have gone up, the days allowed for post-surgery therapy May have decreased ...... Just read & compare it to last year's. Lots of changes are coming for 2025!
Yes were in Michigan and come to find out my son need it oral surgery there's no oral surgeon within 100 miles for my home and downriver Michigan so it was called zing health they didn't give us no warning we've called several times for them to resolve the issue or how can we go about getting an oral surgeon in our area that the oral surgeon well actually take zing healthcare through Medicare AB and D coverage with extra care help and they don't take it anywhere for basically anything only a PCP no hospitals in my area take the insurance so still waiting on the resolvement I don't know what's going to happen in 2025 I hope it's not something like this keep us updated Love your videos Thank you for keeping us in tuned and what's going on... The purple letter comes from the social security administration and is an acknowledgement of your qualification for the financial help. I never receive a medical billing.

I have Medicare and Medicade so they decide the plan I get. I've had Molina for quite a while and I'm very happy with them.
