Kaiten-zushi and supermarket take-out sushi are very handy for everyday meals nowadays. But those authentic sushi bars cost a lot, so they are very special for normal people. My family had a very good sushi in sushi-oke from our old caterer only on special occasions like funeral, memorial service and my father's retirement party. On the other hand, Chirashi-zushi is for other casual occasions like Hina-matsuri and birthdays, Futo-maki and Saba-zushi for Children's Day.)
