Cheers Dale! Yeah, I had a go with the 4th fret capo and I agree, it's a nice sound there. But with that special chord just before "you and I are gonna live forever", I couldn't get it right in an easy to play way. Apparently Noel said in an interview that his guitar is in a different tuning completely, so I've got no idea how he's actually playing this haha. Would be nice to see a video
@@balladofthemightyi when I put it into chord finder it says F#dim(b6,b9) That's relative to the capo, otherwise the actual chord is Cdim(b6,b9). But I've since found out that Noel is using a weird tuning for this, so he's probably playing it a different way. This sounds as close as I could get. In tab form it's (relative to the capo) 200213
Lovely version, well done! Question tho - the D7sus chord that Noel plays sounds weird to me in this new version. The G string sounds at least a semitone too high, I actually think it sounds better open (xx0012). One doesn't really notice it when the keyboards and other instrumentation drowns it out, but when you play it solo, the chord defo sounds oddly high/sharp.
