My favorite diety is also Rarajeswari and Krishna
Shri M has a wonderful way of explaining everything where the layman feels connected to the divinity.
My favorite deity is Hanuman ji.
Reason: He is the embodiment of pure selfless devotion. He proved that through selfless devotion, one can achieve the status of divinity. I aspire to be a selfless devotee someday. But I have a Loooooooooong way to go.
Also, he is considered to be a manifestation of both Shiva & Shakti's energies who dedicated serving the human manifestation of Maha Vishnu that is, Sri Ram. So basically by worshipping Hanuman ji you get the grace of Shiva, Shakti & Vishnu😊
My favourite deity is myself (Atman)
Have yor read Valmiki Râmâyana.
I read his experience from Guruvayur Krishna temple last night and this morning I retraced his steps! I already felt Krishna’s grace thanks to him 🙏

From what I've understood i thought there is a distinct difference between deities and gods. Gods are people that transcended things that the rest of us get entangled in. So yogis essentially. For example people like Rama, Krishna and the many great yogis like gorakhnath, matsyendranath etc. Deities on the other hand, i thought are energy configurations that these yogis themselves made by projecting their energies and/or consecrating them. Of course if the devi is the source of creation, I'm missing a link somewhere. But anyway Sri M calling Krishna a deity feels weird in that sense. Who can clarify this for me?
A god is a deity 🤨 You’re making nonexistent distinctions. Yoga is about consecrating yourself to create an internal atmosphere for grace to blossom. Don’t over complicate things for yourself.
I don't think I know as much sri m know but I will try to describe it with my limited knowledge - Our text describe that there are two supreme powers and source of everything called parabramha and parashakti and parashakti is said to be source of everything,even all gods and goddesses are part (ansha)of this supreme power. This supreme power (Parashakti)is worshipped in the form of 10 Mahavidyas and Tripura sundari is one of the leading Mahavidyas and it is understood that its very difficult to get blessings of Maa Tripura sundari for normal human being
There is a book called Introduction to Tantra-Sastra by Sir John Woodroffee. Sri M itself suggested the book for a general idea..
