Astrology is a subject that has always been taken with a pinch of salt in modern society, yet people get naturally drawn towards it. What is Vedic Astrology? Is it a science or a pseudoscience? Or it has a spiritual aspect to it? Astrology is a mathematical evaluation of the planets say the experts.
Let us understand from the Scholars of the field.
Vedic Astrology, known as Jyotish, originated in ancient India based on the Vedas, the oldest sacred text of Hinduism. It focuses on the influence of celestial bodies on human lives. Vedic astrology tracks planets using stars or constellations, while Western astrology uses the position of the Sun. It predicts the future, understands personality, and aids decision-making.

Swarodaya Vidhya was also used in business/life decision making, Namaskar was used to check which Swara is dominant at that particular moment and decisions made accordingly. At present namaskar has become just a ritual without knowing the reason behind it!!

Can you provide me the link of the article in the "Journal of Astrology" which you have claimed predicted the Bhuj Earthquake one year prior to its occurence with accrate details about "its intensity, epicentre, and magnitude"? I don't see any quotations from the supposed article, all I see is your claim that there was such an article.
