Often, as he picks things up from other people he's talked to, and as he learns, he adds them to these videos, and revisiting these basics seem like a good way to learn new things, or remind yourself of old queues

All respect to Andrew Huberman, but he has definitely benched before. His body mechanics while benching indicate past experience. He also let a few things slip in conversation and then pulled it back. He purposely dialed himself back when doing those sets and feigned ignorance a few times in conversation. He probably did not want to be harshly judged by Mark and the crew so he set low expectations. You can tell he cares allot about having Mark's respect as it is mutual.

As a long armed dude myself with an a/c injury, I also favor a mid/wide grip. Otherwise, the pain is intense after bench in my biceps and shoulders if I don't get my grip in the right place and my body position, if the bar is to high up my chest it inflames my shoulders/biceps.

The doc seems like he could benefit substantially from some hip stretch routines. Had some pretty bad “back” issues before I started doing them, myself.

I’m not only sure,I’m beyond 100% sure he’s using, like I said been at this game 40+ yrs . Seen many many body builders and many so called nattys . For instance, Skip La Cure claimed he was a natty for years , but was called out and proven false and he wasn’t as big. Let’s stop the BS and call it like it is.
