Felt ornaments can be so pretty and cute. It's just that the craft stores in 2022 don't have as many small embellishments as they used too. And that's what puts the bling on the ornaments.
I used to make felt ornaments years ago and this video made me smile! These are just so sweet!! Thank you, Sandy, for reminding me how much fun they are to make!!
Oh Sandy I love these ornaments.I can t believe you never done this before I have a bag of little parts of felt. You gave me some good idears how to start.Thank you much. There is something about telt that always appeals to me. I think that it looks and feels so soft.In a way we are children all our life.
Oh my gosh these are great. This video gave me such a blast from the past. When I was in elementary school in the early 80s we made some of these. There was a wreath I think and a tree. But what I remember most was making boots. I loved adding the cotton but my fave thing was adding the googly eyes. I think I still have them in storage somewhere. I was so proud to put those on my tree at home. The submarine could be in dry dock so it got snow on it hehe.
Ok Sandy, you will have to change your intro to artist, paper crafter and felt crafter! I had no idea you could cut felt with dies. Wasn't sure what you were talking about at first. I wonder if Ellen's felt is thinner than what you can buy at the craft store. As far as the letterboard ornament, maybe you could use snowmen instead of people. Would that make them snow hos??? TFS
So I'm starting a new family tradition this year of exchanging handmade orniments and I had decided to make felt orniments, so the timing of this video is is perfect!!! Thanks for sharing xox
These are so cute. You put a smile on my face while I watched. Have the dies & felt. Thanks for the inspiration to get started. You always add that extra special touch to all of your art.
This was so much fun Sandy!!! I’m with you on getting Christmas finished in November. So grateful you shared these items and will check my supply and see what I may need to replace. Love handmade everything, made from the heart! Love these ornaments!!!
finally found the bigz primitive heart die set i am going to cut some out with die cutting machine and make me some ornaments , lost all my christmas decorations when our house burned down 3 easter sunday's ago so have to replace it all
Oh my goodness Sandy, watching this video was such a JOY! I love how you used dies from earlier releases to make some of these little treasures. The submarine was just SO cute and oh my gosh, the otter! I loved them all and I was so relieved to see you put them on your tree, well out of reach of ‘Jaws’ Vienna LOL Thanks for sharing this with all the info about the felt and thread, but mostly the heartwarming feeling of pure happiness ❤️
I don't do felt but this makes me want to start! The colors are yummy. I have a friend who's doing a lot of felt pieces for her granddaughter and these packs are perfect. About the letter board, how about "falalalala" instead of "hohoho".
I love these! I hear you talking about dies and die cuts often but I’m not sure what machine you are talking about. Is that on your blog? Being “technically challenged” I didn’t know where to look. Is the machine listed in the doubly doo?
I haven’t made felt things for oh, 30 years?! But using dies and the luscious felt colors available now are making it VERY tempting....
Sandy you are a breath of fresh air here on RUclips. I love you, God bless you.

Your ornaments are adorable! I've made a few of the ornaments and snowmen but need to get busy and make more.

Those colors are so delicious - it makes me want to buy ALL THE FELT!!! Thanks for all the cute ideas.
Cute! The blackboard & people look like a Santa School to me. Certainly can’t be Santa without learning a jolly Ho! Ho! Ho!
So fun! Thank you :)

I believe Sandy uses the Gemini Junior machine. Here is her video on the machine. sandyallnock.com/unboxing-gemini-junior-from-crafters-companion/
It’s the Gemini Jr as Sherry said.
Make the “ho ho ho” one into gingerbread people!
How do I purchase thedies
They’re no longer available; Ellen Hutson closed her shop
The gingerbread people...:) :) :)
