I don't have the dies with the holes. With the accessories for the die sets, I did the back stitch and the sew them together, I used the blanket stitch. Making these for the first time, learning the blanket was the easiest for me to learn :)
thank you, adorable. I have a die like this and was just looking for a demo since I'm not much of a sewer. Should be easier to put all the pieces together now with your tips!
Sono dolcissimi e soprattutto possono essere usati in tanti modi, come chiudi pacco, palle d'appendere all'albero, segnaposto, come pensierini o gadget, mi sono piaciuti moltissimo.
I haven't read all the comments, so I don't know if anyone else has given you this tip. You can use your heat gun to get rid of the glue strings. They melt away if you heat them up!
I know this is an old video but I'm hoping you see this and can help with how you stitched (specifically the fox) together under where the face accent overlaps the edge you sew together. I didn't catch it on the deer when you showed more either. Help please! Thank you!
I think I got this answered via IG message but wanted to leave it here in case anyone else has the same question. :) Add stitching to the layering pieces individually and then hot glue in place.
Adorable projects! If I may ask, where do you get your wool felt? I'm having trouble finding wool felt that isn't too expensive. Thanks for a great tutorial :D
SSS shipping info per their website: www.simonsaysstamp.com/shipping.html SSS does sell some felt, it looks like they sell some assorted color packs. They also sell assortments of embroidery floss. I purchased my embroidery floss at a discount store (Wal-Mart) or Craft Store (Hobby Lobby). I get all my felt used for these ornaments from Taylored Expressions: www.tayloredexpressions.com/supplies/100-wool-felt.html
All felt is not created equal, however I can't say whether the felt from HL or Michaels would be ok or not since I haven't used it myself. If it's a bit thinner, you could always add fusible interfacing to help it hold it's shape better. HTH!
Fusable interfacing I haven't thought about that one . Good idea! Thanks for your reply. The plush ornaments are so cute! Thanks for sharing your video. :)

How does that hot glue hold up over time ( with real use on a tree)? I think these would be great Christmas gifts!!
I haven't had any trouble with them falling apart. These ornaments look just as good this past Christmas as 2 years ago when I made them!
Awesome job
