Watching this a few years late... sorry. BUT... These are fabulous... I just adore this little bear. What a wonderful gift this would make by itself or attached to another gift. Thank you so much for sharing. I like that you took the time to do everything just perfect... as the saying goes... anything worth doing is worth doing well. Thank you so much.
These are so sweet Nichol. I too love sewing felt ornaments and the french knots with the beads and sequins just make it look extra special. Beautifully done.
I love these! So adorable! If anyone needs step-by-step directions for the loop stitch, it’s called a lazy daisy stitch. You should be able to google it easily.
Adding a few plastic pellets to the bottom would help it hang nicely. Also if you forget your twine you could use a yarn needle with a big eye to thread the twine in between the stitches. Best done while putting in the filling. After would be trickier.
Nichol, these have to be some of your cutest little stitched ornaments! I can just feel the "happy" in your voice. You are so inspiring! Who wouldn't want to give these a try after watching you? You never miss a thing; you just always manage to think of a cute detail like the little heart on the bear's bottom. A small detail that adds so much to the design. I love to watch you all the time, but you really shine at Christmas! I also love to watch you making the little "picture book" characters. I have been trying these guys and they are so much fun. We are so lucky to have you to inspire us! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Nichol - your ornament tags are just SO DARLING!! I'm not sure that I have the patience to do all that lovely detailed work - they are wonderful! I am enjoying all of your Christmas-themed tutorials, too!
Hi Nichol! I used to do embroidery and needlepoint before I started doing paper crafting. Brings back seriously fond memories! These are so stinking adorable! I think I will need to get me some supplies after the holidays to make some of these for next Christmas. What a brilliant and fun craft! I’ve never worked with felt but you made it look like it’s possible to do with a little practice! I think something similar would be cute for Valentine’s day would be cute! You are such an inspiration to me Nichol and I so enjoy watching your video’s. I wish you and your family a very Blessed Holiday and May God Bless your New Year! Most sincerely ~ katz baugh
Those have to be the cutest felt ornaments ever!! Love those adorable bears and your beautiful embroidery and stitching work! Thanks for the wonderful video!
Absolutely adorable! Nicole, u are totally one of the “Martha Stewart” card makers! So talented in so many ways! Ur family and friends are lucky to have u! I’d love to make these guys! ( I remember making stitched ornaments for one of my sons classmates, I think in kindergarten! Lot of work, but fun! ) I hope ur holidays are filled with love and joy!😊❤️🎄🐻
Nichol These are too adorable...I had to watch I just couldn't pass it up. A really helpful tutorial with great instructions and demonstrations. You are a perfectionist for sure. Just look at how adorable the whole project is. Happy and with a great Holiday feeling. Just tooooooooooo cute... thanks for a fun fun fun video....................pat
Wow, these are so adorable. Just found your channel...can’t wait to watch other videos to see just what I’ve been missing. Thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas.
These bears are just waaaay to cute, Nichol!!! I'm so happy you are sharing these felt projects with us. So, I have never been a sewer but have recently made a few stitched cards, which I'm absolutely loving, but other than that, the only sewing I've ever done is to sew buttons on shirt LOL. QUESTION: What size of needle is required for the seed beads? I did an Amazon search but, on my Lord, the more I look the more confused I get LOL. If anyone can answer, it would be so appreciated (Nichol, I can only imagine how busy you are which is why I put the question out there, if that makes sense). Thanks sweetie (this Nana so appreciates you).
So I ordered supplies (felt and dies) awhile go but just cut everything last week have not done the sewing yet. I set all of the pieces I cut together in pile while I was cutting all of the pieces I needed. Some of the color from the red present and green tree rubbed off and stained the white and grey bears. They were just sitting on top of the bears. Any suggestions? I used the Ellen Hutson felt you suggestion in your video. Worried since the red present is actually going to be touch the bear that they will look bad once I sew them together.
It's too bad everything doesn't come in a kit like Buscilla kits. Having to purchase the dies, felt threads, sequins just makes this a not very affordable project
Pretty upset because the bear die is out of stock! Why would they not make sure they had plenty of stock when they know you are doing this video? So sad.....
Hi: first time here.. bought the die, but gave me hard time die cutting the bear. Have a big shot .. could it be the machine?, looking at your seem to be diferent. TIA!
Hi! I thought the same thing. I had regular felt from Joann and it did not work. So I ordered some wool felt and it made all the difference. It cuts perfect now. And it feels and looks so much nicer. HTH

What machine did you use to cut out the bears 🐻? I have never seen this before? And I am 69 yo where have I been you may well ask?
Pretty upset because the bear die is out of stock! Why would they not make sure they had plenty of stock when they know you are doing this video? So sad.....
Love this. How do we purchase the die????
Hi, I want to make these for Christmas, so I was ordering felt. They don’t have very much of this woolfelt in stock, do you have another suggestion?
❤️❤️❤️❤️
What's your fabric cutter?
Cute. Total cost for all the dies you used?
Why are all the links coming up with “error”?
