Really nice video once again Arachnica! Small correction, and its pretty easy to spot 5:52 Mindfullness. Each stack provides 3% movespeed per stack. At stack cap thats 25 times 3% for a total of 75% movement speed. If your class mod then provides 3 additional points thats a whopping 150% movement speed boost granted you can keep the stacks up. With a nifty setup thats deffinatly feasible.

I mained FL4K when this first came out and went *deep* in to their damage formula (even making a purple tree build video which you can catch on here if you're interested). I've recently started an Amara playthrough with a mate, and now we've hit endgame this depth of analysis on her damage is exactly what I've been looking for. Really, really great work 👊
I really appreciate this vid I've been building my own builds for a while now and looking how to have the most dips in the damage formula as possible but sort of unconventionally flak and moze came to me pretty easily I really like amara but I never really understood her fully
Between the amount of different damage types she has available to to her, all the mayhem scaling, and the fact that way too many of her skills just don't entirely do what they say, I'm honestly not sure even Gearbox fully understood her lol
@@arachnica_ no fr whichs makes videos like this all the more important so people understand what works with what. Like how hidden machine doesn't always work the way it should without taunt or red fang because some enemies can still track your or even shoot u. Or how stoke the embers big surplus and fire and the skag den all interact together for big multiplicative damage. The more u understand what works with what the easier it gets to make some wacky builds and save a use points effectively because they still have either stuff important to the character or important to the specific way the build is made.

You shouldn't disable Resilient perk because you get up with 90% of your shields anyway so keeping it allows you to get up with full hp for health gate and full shield instead of nearly full for effects that need your shield recharge to full before another activation line nova shield.
Yup! I do plan to do just as much coverage as I did for Zane, it'll just be a bit more spread out since I have a lot more to learn as I go here with Amara lol
Hey this is great; I have been using a cryo-melee Amara w a cryo hex. When the hex starts working, you can see numbers like DoTs, but I understand cryo to not proc DoTs. Does this mean no mistakes in nature would be wasted on this build?
Blitz is just a little buggy at times and sometimes the dash will happen, the animation will play, but just cancel out for no reason. Unfortunately I don't think there's really any way around it other than just being sure your crosshair is as directly on the enemy as possible, but even then it'll still happen sometimes. It's still absolutely worth using even with this annoyance, but it definitely can be obnoxious as hell.
It doesn't. Samsara only stacks on damage dealt from your action skill itself and the Phasegrasp skills don't deal damage. There's a few cases where they do, like grasping a target that can't be grasped, but I think even then it doesn't stack, which means it's probably a hardcoded lockout for those skills.
@@Over_9OOO Laid bare is a bit different. It still doesn't proc unless your action skill does damage, however I do believe it procs on Ties That Bind, it just won't be applied to the main enemy grasped. Any that get linked though, once they take damage from it, Laid Bare is applied. Fist Over Matter should also apply it. Normal Grasp and Eternal Fist will only apply it on enemies that just take the damage instead of being grasped though. In normal mobbing, they won't proc it.
Helping hands has the side effect of increasing your melee speed. So for true melee and for pestilence builds 1 point is pretty much a must

I know my name is sussy (i swear im not a bot) , but is there any way to activate blitz? Sometimes i use it and just deals no dmg.

Fracture higher base damage? That’s hard to believe. I can one shot frozen badasses with phaseslam but never with fracture.
