The Pulse 3D is a wireless headset that's designed for PlayStation 5 players. It has a really good sound quality and is perfect for watching movies and gaming. We'll give you a full review of the Pulse 3D headset and tell you whether or not you should buy it!

@@Oransi_the microphone is the worst part about them in all honesty because they broadcast everything around you to the point folks can hear my neighbour's dinner conversation.
Next would be the compatibility issue as they don't have Bluetooth and need something with a USB port or an aux port.
Lastly the lack of settings are a problem as they can only be adjusted from the ps5 and you can't change the fact that the mute/unmute button overwrites the one on the controller which means you take you're hand off the controller to do so which could be the difference between life and death.
The headband just snapped after 2 years but that's okay 2 years is enough.
They served me well and will serve you well only for ps5 use for a price that's maybe 30 % too much given the bad microphone in the sense of broadcasting you're surroundings lack of configuration and use on other devices.
The battery life is decent though.
I'll not be buying them again but I suppose if you don't care about you're teamates hearing you're surroundings and you're using them only for you're ps5 they might be worth it.
However I will definitely spend 30% more to get bluetooth, compatibility and a decent microphone. On some steelseries as I bought my brother wired steelseries for half the price and I can shout over his shoulder and no one can hear a thing but they can hear him just fine with all the benefits such as 3d audio comfortibilty. The 30% extra will just be for steelseries with wireless functionality.
I got them with my ps5 and just now opened the box tonight cause my Astros were pissin me off. I’m kinda impressed

It's good price wise but if it can't be adjusted for people with bigger heads or the pads aren't interchangeable then I'll stick with getting either the arctis nova pro or the 7p+.
I bought the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless for my Xbox a few weeks ago. Pretty spendy but I've really enjoyed it and don't regret the purchase. Just hoping Steelseries is really bringing Sonar to console as i hard it's in the works. It would be a genre changer.

They’re good for the price, I had them for about two years before the white top headband broke😢, Im still able to use them but for comfort I upgraded to steelseries nova pro

same happened to me, bad design for the sake of it looking cool ig bc last year the same thing happened but it held in place kinda like how skin holds are bones in place.

My 7p just sort of works after 2 years despite not so very rough use. Hardware issue with the volume slider
Sound is brilliant, battery life is decent. After owning for a year and using extensivley my mic has broken/become intermittent. the headset itself is rather uncomfortable after using for an hour. For similar prices there are better headsets out there.

Pretty good headset imo but for me and some others I know who have bought these the headset ends up just falling apart around the ear cups. Things such as the leather peeling off and the spongey bits just kinda nearly falling out lol. Ig if you take care of them properly though this shouldn't be an issue. (I have had mine for around 2 years)
you gave only basic adjectives, no quantification. for example for battery life, “it is good” instead of “it lasts xx hours at a stretch which is comparable to any mid to high range headphones”. trying to give constructive feedback.
It has a 12 hour battery life
Still using mine after two years - I swapped the ear cushions with the WC gel cooled found on amazon, great for Glasses gamers and the cooling gel is super chill on summer nights :)

I’d go with the Astro A10s. They have a great microphone and are extremely comfortable. They sound great too.
A few days ago I changed the ear pads like $14 on amazon the fake leather were peeling off had this since day one battery still good
I bought a pair a few weeks ago and they're pretty good, I only didn't like the ear cups, they were pushing my glasses into my head, so I bought replacements off amazon which are heaps more comfortable
Loving them rn got the black camp ones on sale and I’m sure there’s better headphones and I hear people talking down the sound quality but for the price they’re awesome

The cuffs peeled off so easily on my headset I’ve only had it for 3 months and lots of stuff just started falling off

Can attest to the durability. Chucked mine at my wall as hard as I could due to some 2k rage, instant regret, but they were completely fine.

Just don't do it with the controllers because they are made of glass these days 🤣 my second one that broke I did it just for satisfaction and it shattered into 1000 pieces poor kids will have to buy new these days until they learn how to control their outbursts hell I get stick drift and the touch pad clip breaks just from usage 🤞gotten protective covers and thumbsticks and anything that helps give them longevity I can only imagine how long they last youngsters with outbursts and sticky fingers these days😅

Agreed pretty good, not suitable for bigger heads.
I played horror games with that during the day time and it does it's Job really well.
The downgrade is the leather on the ear pillow does peel off over time
They’re pretty bad tbh. Audeze Maxwell for story mode games and nova pro for footsteps/competitive
People saying it didn’t last them long definitely mistreated them. Whether it be accidentally sitting on them to throwing them cause your raging but for sure you didn’t take care of them probably

I recommend getting a mic or connecting the dual pulse with an aux cord because your mic sounds muffled if connected with the wireless usb
I've bought the previous 2 ps headsets but after about 2yrs the leather on the cushions started falling off in flakes. That's my only issue with the headsets

They sound great and function well I wish they had some kinda side tone so I can hear how loud my own voice is so I don’t yell. Also everyone says the the ear cups are comfy I don’t think they are and the rubber on the headband isn’t soft enough either it only touches the very top of my head and creates a pressure point. The headband of the steelseries is where it’s at with it being elastic and adjustable.
There a little uncomfortable after several hours of playing idk tho

Only 1 speaker works on mine now I’ve bought two and returned them both and same issue so not sure if it’s just the headset itself because I’ve had no dam luck lol
If you have big ears dont get it. Most uncomfortable headset I ever had. I sold it in a week.

ear pads are really easy replacable. there are a lot of comfortabl for 12-20 bucks.

I got the black pulse headset, my only complaint about this headset is and at least for me once my battery goes from full to 2 bars my audio starts to skip and become unhearable

It can work with the PS4, but I don't know if the surround sound works. I haven't used my PS4 ever since I got my PS5. 😅

I got these headphones and they were great.But one time the dongle to connect them was bent so I took it out.Once I took it out the little blue thing in the usb came out.Then I lost the dongle,and don’t have the wire.Any replacement’s for a new wire?

That happened to me when I first got them. But now, no matter how long I wear them they're pretty comfortable. I've had them for about 4 months and I got used to them after about a week or 2. Definitely the best headset I've ever had. Granted they're only the 2nd I've ever had . . . but still, they're great.

Had mine for about 2-3 years and it’s insanely good and simple to use. Although the head band and the top part connecting both headphones broke it’s still worked so I just taped it together. got a new headset today but it just doesn’t feel the same so gonna refund and get another pulse

@@Kalaforlife7 that’s the million dollar question. Mic quality in COD is completely muffled. Love the Steelseries Arctis Nova 7P. Sound quality is really good.

@@Kalaforlife7 $160. I purchased and returned a few before finally being satisfied. I tried the Razer Kraken, HyperX Cloud 2 and one of the middle of the line Astro headsets. Cool thing about the Nova 7P is you can connect to the PS5 and Bluetooth to your phone at the same time.

Yes it has a built in mic, he literally said that. But don't get them, they're very uncomfortable for me personally
what about people with big heads that plastic did not last me long as ive had them for 1 year and it has a crack in it now and well nothing duck tape cant hold so hopefully the new headset had a larger frame for big headed people

In all due respect it’s a cool design, but everything everyone is saying is true about how terrible the build quality is. Be cautious about which headphones you buy this holiday season too. Something to note is that other headphones vs the ps5 headphones when playing don’t get nearly as loud as the ps5 ones due to the PS ones having an equalizer option over regular headphones! It’s really upsetting hope Sony fixes this

A dongle in 2023? Really? That's disappointing considering it's specifically made for the PS5 console. That's like buying an Apple Pencil, but you have to stick a screen cover over the iPad to make it work.

Have been looking to upgrade from the platinum headset I purchased 5 years ago. Borrowed my roommates Pulse, they're very similar in sound quality but they are terrible ear cups, obviously made for children. Save your money for the new ps5 earbuds.
