My daughter asked me how to make real apple juice.. search RUclips and found you. Love how informative you are and it looks so easy. Definitely going to try this with her. Thank you so much!
Loved the recipe! I have T1DM so no sugar is allowed at home, and finding an actual sugar free apple juice around town is a bit hard, so thank you so much for the video! Just a question; I don't really have an Instapot, can I still use the good old pressure pan? Also, if I can, how?
This is apple soup! Most of the vitamins are destroyed by cooking. If you want real fresh apple juice, buy a juicer or use a blender, then pass the mixture through a cloth sieve as you did here in this video.
If you look in the description below the video, there is a link to the blog post for this recipe on my website. I've actually linked to the apple peeler that we use in the recipe card at the bottom of the post. I hope this helps!
Apple juice will usually store in the refrigerator for 7-10 days. Just watch it, and be sure to throw it out at even the slightest hint of "off" flavor!
The whole apple is cooked down to bring out the juice. That includes the seeds. It's not a problem though, as the juice is later strained out of the mixture. You will not consume any apple seeds if you strain the juice correctly.
Interestingly, I read Mel's article 2 days ago and then, magic! I got this on RUclips. Google is just great, isn't it? lol. Thank you for the great information. I may need some apple juice for a particular type of wine I am planning and stores are not offering the right one in my city.
Mario, believe it or not, using the whole apple actually does contribute to a better flavor. I also prefer to waste as little as possible, even when it comes to the core of an apple. The juice will be strained later anyways, so it really doesn't matter. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
You seem like such a nice lady. This might be a weird comment but your voice sounds very young. You sound like a fifteen year old girl. Not in a bad way but just your tone. Thank you for the recipe.
Once I went to the fridge saw our jug in there and I was like what's in it a juice what juice smell it smells nice finger in lick it tastes nice lift the jug and drink a bit oh this is good this is apple juice tin apple juice what a drink so I drank the lot not long after few days later I went to the fridge saw our jug in there what's in it a juice what juice smell it mmm oh this apple juice again lift the jug and drink and drink some more and drink some more ahh drink the lot not long after few days later I went to the fridge saw our jug in there what's in it a juice yes here we go again lift the jug and fill my mouth with that apple goodness blagh this isn't apple this is blagh my mouth is full of oil thick cooking oil I wonder who put that there
Yeah and we need a device to view this video, are you dumb or something? She was talking about the ingredients, unless you plan on eating the instant pot I don't see why you got mad about it lol.

I do not understand gibberish
I’m going to try that one day with my kids
It's really good! Apple juice is a lot of fun to make with kids.
Thank you for sharing!
How would it work with a regular pressure cooker?
It would be pretty close to the same. Just make sure your pressure is high enough.
Thank you for the info ❤
I like eating ambrosia apple because I think it’s sweeter than other apples. Can I use it for the apple juice?
I did a quick Google search, and it appears that ambrosia apples are actually very good for making apple juice. I'd go for it. I hope this helps!
What do you do with the left over
Very detailed. I like it
Thank you, Aidar!
What brand is the apple pealer
If you look in the description below the video, there is a link to the blog post for this recipe on my website. I've actually linked to the apple peeler that we use in the recipe card at the bottom of the post. I hope this helps!
Thank you for sharing 🙏♥️
Thank you for the feedback!
is there any more techniques to make it more transparent ?
Did you 'peel' or just slice. I don't understand what the apple peeler did.
Hey Joe, I just sliced the apples this time. Hope this helps!
I'm watching this at the schools bathroom 🤣
can u use a air fryer?
How long can i keep the apple juice in fridge? Or quickly finish drinking it as soon as possible?
Apple juice will usually store in the refrigerator for 7-10 days. Just watch it, and be sure to throw it out at even the slightest hint of "off" flavor!
Thank you
Thank you!
How can it be done if you dont have an insta pot?
Thank you very mich we have a appletrees wich were here before i was alive and there is to much of them to eat
That's awesome! This recipe should make good use of them!
so without a pressure cooker just have to boil it for longer?
Laura, I suppose you could do this, until the flavor is suitable to your preference.
Ooo I like apple juice I just made orange juice yummy
how do I squeeze the juice out of them?
As I show in the video, you don't squeeze the apples. You cook them down and separate the resulting juices from the apples.
Hedge apples are pretty tasty
Totally gonna hard cider this recipe
Did you put the seeds in? That’s bad right?
The whole apple is cooked down to bring out the juice. That includes the seeds. It's not a problem though, as the juice is later strained out of the mixture. You will not consume any apple seeds if you strain the juice correctly.
Can anyone share what their favorite type of apples to use are?
I really like jonagold!
wow awsome

Haha, I guess I'm doing something right! Let me know how it turns out if you use the recipe.
Why did you throw in the core?
Mario, believe it or not, using the whole apple actually does contribute to a better flavor. I also prefer to waste as little as possible, even when it comes to the core of an apple. The juice will be strained later anyways, so it really doesn't matter. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching!

Did you know that apple seeds are filled with cyanide.
Deborah, this is one of the reasons that I advise against consuming apple seeds.
@@MelLockcuff Then why did you throw the seeds into the pot?
Once I went to the fridge saw our jug in there and I was like what's in it a juice what juice smell it smells nice finger in lick it tastes nice lift the jug and drink a bit oh this is good this is apple juice tin apple juice what a drink so I drank the lot not long after few days later I went to the fridge saw our jug in there what's in it a juice what juice smell it mmm oh this apple juice again lift the jug and drink and drink some more and drink some more ahh drink the lot not long after few days later I went to the fridge saw our jug in there what's in it a juice yes here we go again lift the jug and fill my mouth with that apple goodness blagh this isn't apple this is blagh my mouth is full of oil thick cooking oil I wonder who put that there
Funny I thought is was arsenic for years… oops cyanid you say {adds to random research list} 😬
The skins have all the pesticides though
Although that depends entirely on where you source your apples, you have a valid point.
lol how many apple seeds would it take to poison you? I mean whatever let's just micro-dose ourselves over and over again!
Research actually shows that it takes an insane number of apple seeds to even show side effects, way more than anything you might get out of this...
First Lie was ALL YOU NEED ARE APPLES AND WATER. Then this woman starts talking about needing and insta pot?? Cmon lady!!
Yeah and we need a device to view this video, are you dumb or something? She was talking about the ingredients, unless you plan on eating the instant pot I don't see why you got mad about it lol.
