    Quick, easy and to the point. Very nice, this should help those that don't know this stuff when they get their first rc drift car. 👍

      That's awesome to hear man, hope you have a lot of fun with it. Thank you, I'm gonna drop a video for the 1/43 scale cars tomorrow first then a Camber vid for the LDRC Friday most likely.

    Love these videos man. I used to be into real car modding, but I can’t play with real cars all day. This RC hobby however, helps fill that modding crave at a smaller scale while allowing me to tear it up in living room whenever I want. Keep up the great work!

      Thanks man, that's exactly how I feel. I love real cars but they can be really expensive to mod, time consuming and hard to find places to unleash their power with out getting into trouble lol So this hobby is great for tinkering and messing around with out worrying about all that for sure.

      haha nice, just a heads up you may have some differences between the three. The Miata will have the newer electronics, the RX7 might or might not and the NSX will probably have the old like mine does and you may or may not have upgraded suspension on one or two so you'll find all that out when you get them.

      @AirToGroundRCFPV For sure. I was noting the differences on the videos I was watching. I hope it's the newer release, of course. I also picked up two of those Dasmikro V5 gyroscopes. Do you happen to know what the adapter cables I need are called? Thanks for your time and insight

    Do you have a video of your whole suspension setup? I just unboxed my rx7 and I'm trying to dial everything in but I'm struggling a little since this is my first rc drift car.

    • @AirToGroundRCFPV
      @AirToGroundRCFPV  Месяц назад

      Yea it's part 4 of my LDRC series, you can find it in my playlist or just look through my videos on my channel. If you have the old suspension style which is the little torque springs on the bottom of the car, then you can get an idea of how I tweaked mine. They are not easy to adjust and took me awhile to get them perfect for what I wanted so do your best to get them where you want them. It's not easy and annoying lol But if you got a newer updated LDRC then you may have individual shocks on your car which is an upgrade but they aren't the greatest either and if you do have those I do not a have a video on how to adjust those at the moment since I did not have them on mine.

    • @neonnerd1364
      @neonnerd1364 Месяц назад

      @AirToGroundRCFPV ya I have the old style with tortion springs. I haven't gotten to run it that much because the alignment was so far off out of the box as expected.

  • @hardtobearit

    how would you run a aftermarket receiver with these LDRC cars and whats the most cost effect one without breaking the bank. im looking to get the newer miata model and i wanna use a better controller for it with more control

    • @AirToGroundRCFPV
      @AirToGroundRCFPV  4 месяца назад +2

      So you have to replace the stock electronics with a new ESC and Receiver. The receiver can be any brand you want to match your transmitter and so far I'm using a RadioLink RC6GS V2 since it was cheap for a transmitter that can do all the basic things I need that most expensive brands can do. I will make a video swapping out the electronics later but I have a few videos of other upgrades and stuff I will drop first before I get to that. Any brushed 10 to 20amp ESC will work that's made for RC cars. If you plan on switching to a brushless motor down the road then you might want an ESC that can do both. Any receiver that has 4 or more channels should do just fine as well just make sure you set everything up correctly.

      @@hardtobearit Yea hopefully there will be metal swing arms and maybe a carbon fiber chassis and stuff. I have the metal rear differential and metal gears for the gear box, I'll do a video on them later so at least that's start I guess lol

    Are you going to do videos for camber too? :)

    • @AirToGroundRCFPV
      @AirToGroundRCFPV  4 месяца назад +1

      Absolutely, I will do camber, caster, steering, suspension, weight distribution, etc. I just have to spread out the videos, I can't drop them all at once lol and I will do a steering mod design to where I can get up to 90 degrees like I did on my WLToys K969 most likely.

    • @AirToGroundRCFPV
      @AirToGroundRCFPV  4 месяца назад +1

      @@athenovae You don't need 90 degrees for drifting but I like having the option. If it's too much I can always limit the servo to 80 or 70 since I will be swapping out the receiver and esc as well, I don't like the stock electronics. But 90 lets you whip the back end around really easy in tight spaces and can almost act like a handbrake so I wanna play around with it and see how it does.
