Love your pocket pages! I intersperse pocket pages of various sizes in my 12 x 12 albums especially for our travels. Pocket pages do take time but I don’t feel it takes any longer than “regular” scrapbooking. I like to journal in the pockets too. Thanks for sharing how you do your flips? Great video!

Thank you! Pocket pages interspersed with regular pages sounds like the best of both worlds!

I like 6x8 and smaller albums because I can put them on regular book shelves. I use them for travel, story albums (sometimes as Project Life and sometimes in addition to a 12x12 or 9x12 album). Sabrina (MrsScrapandPlan) uses smaller albums and does a lot outside the page protector using journal cards.

Good point. I think I'll try the 6x8 for specific events for now and decide later if I want to switch entirely. Since filming this I've done a few more PL pages in my usual 12x12 format simply because I didn't have the albums for the smaller size yet. 🤷‍♀️ I dunno what I'll end up doing now! I'll check out the RUclipsr you mentioned! Thanks!

what great layouts.. I have adopted this style for my monthly scrapbook pages.. I tried the memory book and the snap.. Honestly.. EMBRACE the plastic and keep the method you have going. they are a ton of work, but you use up a ton of product, you can easily achieve the flaps you add are so fun and texture is easy to achieve. sorry for the not solicited advice..but been there done that, fixed it and gone back to fix it.. Great work and thanks as always for sharing

You are so welcome! Thank you for your thoughts on this topic. I've done a few more 12x12 pages since filming this (mostly because I didn't have the smaller albums), and I may now be resigned to staying with the 12x12 format because I can't imagine getting my pages into a smaller footprint.

Hi Tracy! (Actually I can't remember if there is an "e" in the spelling of your name. My apologies if I've spelled it incorrectly.) I looked through some of your Pocket Page video descriptions, as well as your shop "essentials" and your shopping "affiliate links" before asking my question and I couldn't find what I was looking for. Can you help me with your source for 12x12 Pocket Page Sleeves? I've just run out of my Becky Higgins ones with the 4 4x6 horizontal (top & bottom) and 4 vertical 3/4 (in the middle). Where are you buying yours? Thanks so much!

Hi Wendy, thanks for the question- I’m happy to pass on my sources, but I actually can’t remember where I got my Becky Higgins Design A page protectors. I bought 3 massive boxes of them last time I purchased and that was years ago. It was likely either Scrapbook.com or Amazon, but might have been some other store. As the kit club brings in the Small but Mighty kit as a more regular option, we may start to carry some pocket scrapping supplies like design A page protectors but that won’t be for awhile. If you’re running out now, I’m sorry that I’m not much help!
