Hi Anya, wearing oven gloves, I use the handle on the pan to put the pan in and out of my air fryer, much safer than the foil handles. Thanks for sharing this recipe

I would be afraid of spilling the soup and wasting it and also, of burning myself getting it out of the fryer. I will stick to top of the stove and a saucepan for my soup.

For all these people surprised by this - airfryer is a bs marketing name. It's a mini convection oven. They've been around for ages, but someone renamed them and made them look slightly different and suddenly everyone wanted one. It was just to con people into buying a device they probably already had in their home.
If you put a bit of oil on a tray and dump some potato wedges on top of it and stick it in the oven, you get the same identical result as using an air fryer - because it's literally the same device. If you look at the manual for an airfryer, they will likely just tell you that somewhere in the fine print.
Having said all that, an airfryer is easier to clean, and I have to say, if you don't have a full sized option, it is a cheaper option, and anything you can make in an oven, you can make in an airfryer.

It's great for smaller amounts so you don't need to heat up a big oven. Much faster too. And portable... great for students, camping, caravans etc. Also easier cleanup.
