Everyday I watch this channel... very easy to understand compared to others. Perfect Lesson Porzak 👌 If I have enough money, I will go to see him to take a lesson. Regards From Indonesia
Nice coverage of greenside bunker shot basics. Good job debunking old style bunker instruction. While more people do discuss ripple effect, good bunker grip, and how to open the face and use the bounce these days it doesn't seem like many (if any) talk about the connection and leverage aspects while hitting bunker shots. Thanks for sharing information on those points.
@@PorzakGolfthanks for explaining about the weight on lead foot....then I presume upper body weight is neither left or right during setup.... based on your video...upperbody is quite neutral during setup... correct?
Adam i know how you say the hinge goes to 45 degrees. You have a neutral to slightly strong grip in my opinion. If someone had a strong to slightly overly strong grip, would the hinge still be to 45?
Yes, a strong grip would definitely be more up to the nose as opposed to hinging down the line of your feet because you wouldn’t want a bowed wrist with a strong grip …you want a more cupped lead wrist to actually keep the face square!
When it comes to firm buckers, you want to allow the leading edge to dig into the ground. Opening up the face and exposing the bounce will cause the club to bounce into the ball resulting in a skulled shot. Set up with a more square club face and play it more like a chip shot

@ScottMackay-p6b yes he does!!!
Porzak.... wat about weight distribution during setup...weight more on left or right foot?
We want to place most of our weight on the lead foot!

Love it straight spin NOT cut spin.... same for wedges in general I have the cut spin unless you want that shot !

Are you hitting before the ball?
With the ball forward, I aim to hit behind the ball but as i state in the video, my mindset is to have the low point passed the ball
