Interesting app. I would have used it a lot when my primary focus was MOF. I will download and see how well it can work for older HEMA. I’m focused on Fiore right now.
Yeah, I really like it. I think it's totally possible to adapt it to older systems, just do something different for each command that doesn't make sense for Fiore!
Hello! have a question, Is it normal that my legs in the on guard stance (so the front leg pointing forward and the back one to the side at 90°) feels inconfortable and a bit like they are over twisted, or do I do something wrong?
If you don't have any prior injuries or other conditions that might inhibit the mobility of your legs, it definitely shouldn't strain or hurt! Like any new movement pattern, it can feel unfamiliar and awkward at first but it should never cause you structural discomfort beyond the normal strain of exercise. Please don't continue if it doesn't improve and seek professional advice. Cheers!
Many more modern sword systems have linear combat. The Sabre and Smallsword, for instance, have a linear system like what is shown in the video. However, Smallsword fencing eventually evolved into modern Epee as it gradually became a sport. Despite this, the Sabre and Smallsword systems also have some circular footwork in them. And, older sword systems like Rapier, Longsword, Sword and Buckler, and Dagger have a more circular system of footwork.
If there was ever a guy that looked like he’s into fencing and/or Musketeer LARPING, it’s this gentleman right here
What an awesome utility! One can practice and get exercise without being at the club. Very useful. Thank you
Yep, it works well and I still use it!
Great channel. I’ll be tuning in!
Thanks and welcome, I'm glad you enjoy my content!

very good!what app?
I find it incredibly hard to consider fencing HEMA if it's done on a piste. Such a colossal disappointment.
I don't understand your comment. This was my privat balcony during lockdown, not a piste.
