Sara is so eloquent and talented
She might not be able to hit a note based on what you ask for, but she does have perfect pitch -- I was very fortunate to see Into The Woods at NY City Center, and Broadway twice, and Sara B. is phenomenal -- funny, genuine, and what a singer. The entire cast and production is amazing and a must-see. It's only playing until August 21st! Go. See. It. You feel the supportive energy of the audience, and there are some standout performances, which I hope will be remembered by next year's Tony Awards.
Would also like to say, it's is obvious none of the hosts have seen the show -- please comp them to see it before an interview. Although her other material is fantastic (Waitress, Girls 5eva, albums), the point is to market Into The Woods.
I’m so stoked you posted about your good experience with this show. Iv got tickets for August 10th matinee. This will be my 4th time seeing Sara live-twice at Waitress and twice at her show here in CT. I am so stoked!!!!
One the best plays Ive ever seen. And you could feel that everyone in audience has so much love for the actors and the play
She's indeed a perfect singer and musician and human being.
No one is perfect, but she is a great performer and person.
Glad she finally won a Grammy in 2020 for this work, and then she won another a year later. Sara is SO talented and this was LONG overdue.
its cool how shes beeen able to launch a successful career into Broadway from her music career especially given its been over a decade since her 1st big hit.
Sara Bareilles is the greatest EVERYTHING!. What a thrill it was to see her in Waitress. There's nothing that she can't do and do well.
So did SJB replace Sara? Or did she only go on tour?
