Have a look at: peterstatistics.com/CrashCourse/5-ThreeVarPair/binary/MultipleBinaryPaired0.html and the various sections on the left-hand side menu. I guess that a cochran Q test will work here as well, but that is just my opinion.
I'm doing this with 27 categorical variables (i know..right?). But the pairwise comparison are illegible in SPSS. Is there any workaround to still see the pairwise comparisons that SPSS did?
If you mean that the results in the model viewer, you might want to set SPSS to not use the model viewer but show the results in the basic output window. From the menu bar select 'Edit ' and then at the bottom 'Options'. Click on the 'Output' tab and in the Output Display section select 'Pivot tables and charts'. Then click OK. You will need to re-do the analysis to get the results then in the Output. Hope this is what you were looking for.
