The pain brings us to total submission. Then we live. We as sheep follow our shepherd home.
God used the depression that I hated for 17 years to get me to submit to Him. I don’t think I could’ve surrendered without that pain. The depression is still there but I always pray every morning that he gives me the ability to focus on Him more than the depression, and He gives it to me so freely. He is so good to us. I love Him so much because He first loved me and came looking for me when I didn’t want to be found.
I'm currently unemployed living with my parents and preparing for my competitive exams please pray for me . 😇

I've always struggled with the idea that God would want anything to do with us, I wouldn't.

As someone saved by our Lord Jesus, we should strive to do right and live holy and properly, but failing to do so will NOT keep you from heaven. Jesus loved us and saved us when we believed on him, nothing more is required, but to do good works and follow him is to show him that we love him also and strengthens our testimony to unbelievers. If you trust in the Lord Jesus that he payed for your sins and that he was enough to cleanse us, you are sealed unto the day of redemption!

Hard to grasp ecen though i believe its true as i keep stumbling over the same besetting sin that crushes me and causes me to almost beg God to allow me to ealk in victory for His glory as I'm useless to Him in my testimony to Him as discouragement hubys me for several days and many saints see this and it sucks...but God gets me through.

According to the New Testament, all believers are to take an active part in building up the Church. This means that all believers have been called to participate in the ministering of God's word. That is, according to the New Testament, the Church is built when all believers minister in the gathering, each bringing what he has received directly from God as the fruit of his intimate and personal communion with the Lord Jesus Christ in the study and meditation of the word of God. That is, the Bible teaches that all believers must come to maturity so that in the meeting everyone can minister the word, teaching one another, exhorting one another, correcting one another; so that by following the truth in love, all may learn and all may be exhorted. For the word of God says that ministers were appointed to perfect the saints for the work of the ministry for the building up of the body of Christ. This means that ministers were appointed to bring all believers to maturity so that they are no longer dependent on pastors, but having reached maturity they can be taught directly by God through personal study of the Bible. But traditional religion deceived God's people into believing that it is normal for believers to remain as nursing children all their lives depending on pastors, this makes believers not see the need to establish an intimate and personal communion with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Praise God for this sermon. I love listening to Paul Washer, but he likes to repeat the same illustrations and anecdotes in many sermons😅
Perhaps the first Adam represented the innocent and ignorance of unlearned man. Through the fall we have discovered misplaced trust and consequence. Through Jesus we learn the way to how to live and the gift is eternal life.

Honestly, how can you pray more efficiently and 😢 rightly? I don’t think I understand prayer.
What little this suggestion is, no matter when you pray or at what length you pray, always remember that it’s about fellowship with God and not a heavenly wish-list for us.
Make it a priority to spend time in prayer and meditation on God’s word on a daily basis, always praying in Jesus’s name, by the power of the Holy Spirit, and for God’s will to be done. Keep a prayer journal. Lift up the burdens of others before your own (Philippians 2:3-4).

Hey, I believe that Jesus Christ is coming soon to rapture His Church so I wanted to reach out to as many as possible. Please remember that there is only one God that leads to Heaven, the Trinity (God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit) and it’s about having a personal relationship through Jesus Christ versus religion (John 14:6 ESV). Blessings.
The "rapture" will not take place untill the 2nd coming when HE judge's the world! My Bible mentions nothing of a 3rd coming.... John tells us in writing revelation we're in the tribulation right now! It started when Christ raised himself from the dead you're living in the millennial reign right now!

This means that the unbeliever hears the Gospel, the good news, from the Scriptures. They might never have, until this point, read the Bible themselves, yet they hear the truth proclaimed and believe! Now, if you're asking, 'Must a true believer read the Scriptures?' then yes, an EVIDENCE of true faith in a believer's life is their desire to know the LORD. As it says in Psalm 1:2, 'But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.' Consider how Job valued God's Word: Job 23:12, 'I have not departed from the commandment of his lips; I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my portion of food.

@newbeginning3571 was it something you've known previously? I grew up in a christian household. But much later in the future, by the time I came to Christ. It was as if I was being drawn to Him by my Conscience rather than anybody I knew personally or from the Church. No one presented to me anything by my conversion and yet I remember that day being the day I came to Christ.

The only teaching that i never accept about so many christians is God Jehovah and Jesus is one person. Jesus said to his disciples, you and me will be one just like the Father and me are one. The apostles and Jesus are not really one but what he meant when He say we are going to be one is the spirit. One on the spirit. Like when a man and a woman becomes one it does not mean 1 person. When the bible talks about church being body of christ its not saying that we are really 1 in the flesh. Its one in the spirit. Being united to Him or them.
