Very good video. I tied a dozen while playing and replaying your video. I also like the music in the background. Do you know the title of the piece and the artist?
Impressive. I’m new to tying and these are some new techniques for me. I’m having a real hard time getting the thin thread to get through the bobbin and I keep breaking it. I started out tying Caddis , wooly buggers , streamers and mouse patterns. This is another level of precision and difficulty
I would suggest not using metal threaders that can nick your bobbin and cut your thread. When pulling tension on your thread pull straight down so you aren’t pulling it against the bobbin either. Best of luck to you.
Thank you @@MoonlitFlyFishing ! I'm getting better at it, I had a couple come out alright but I was crowding the eye. I was able to catch one wild brown on it! This is my first season tying and fishing my own flies. Do you recommend anything else for the body/thorax if I don't have goose biots right now? I experimented with wrapping a peacock hurl or just using thread. I'm making a list of things to order but wont be ordering until I have a good amount of stuff identified to save on shipping. :)

I do not, my friend Dave Alison tied this video for us.
