This show turned out to be a surprisingly weighty sports drama. The end of the final hockey game actually kinda got me in the feels. Never thought I'd be actually inspired by the dude wheeling Jonesy and Riley's moms, but fuck is that man a stud.

I'm such a Letterkenny fan that I came into this show with skepticism. To say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. Great fucking show!

Huge Letterkenny fan here as well and I went so far as to say I actually like Shoresy better! Mostly because I'm not a big fan of the skids or some of the other characters on Letterkenny but with shoresy I like all the characters so far, except for maybe the weird brothers, like wtf is up with them!!?

I actually loved this even more than Letterkenny. I had some strong emotional reactions by the last episode.

By the last episode I was actually moved. Unlike Letterkenny where the drama felt so out of place next to what I was there for -- chirps and one-liners and callbacks and (sometimes) overused jokes.

I died when he was slagging Fish about his date with Samantha McMeekin at Respect is Burning. If you know Sudbury, you know that place - that's some sly Northern Ontario esoterica slipped in there.
I'm from the US, so when they talk about Sudbury being in the ass-end of nowhere in the show, I thought they meant like REAL Northern Ontario. But Sudbury is only like 300km North of Toronto. That's an afternoon drive for a Texan.
@@nercksrule Closer to 400km. I head up to a camp on the French River and that's around 325km from Toronto. Four laning most of the route helps shorten the distance, tho.

He says “yeah, so…” i think it’s a joke on the fact that Shoresy has so much confidence but then every time he’s asked to speak in front of people he does that “yeah, so…” like he’s nervous or something. That’s how I saw the joke at least
