Simon Phillips on Drums? Getting old as you do but he just gets better & better with age...a true master of Drum/Percussion...such an inspirational man!
Leland Sklar everywhere!!!!! Great bassist of all times!! So many contributions with many artist like Phil Collins, America, Air Supply, Lee Ritenour, The Doors, Neil Diamond, Roger Hodgson....countless!!
You are so right. We have a saying: "the best helmsmen are on the shore" What auto-tuning? These people are very talented musicians, altough it is not the original line-up. But with Simon Philips on drums and Sklar on bass (one of the best bassplayers in the world, and I should know, cause I am a bassplayer for more then 40 years and living from it). My compliments!!!
esos arreglos de jazz al principio,,,,guau!!!, después,,ese suspenso generado antes de empezar la sgda parte...y más luego, volviendo a la versión original.... increíble!!!!son grandiosos!!
The incomparable "Father Time," himself, Leland Sklar. Most people remember him from Phil Collin's 1990 hit "Something Happened on the Way to Heaven," where he features in the music video (standing stage right of Collins).
You have a couple of years on me, but I too have been making a living primarily as a performing musician for the majority of the past 21 of my 37 years...including putting myself through college as well as earning a pretty damn good living from it. I guess the fundamental difference between us and "them" is not finding a need to hear an INCREDIBLE band and try to dog them as if no band COULD sound good live...when I hear bands all the time that have a great live sound...including amazing vocals!
I wish that more Muso's would do this with their TOP Hits - it adds such a fresh NEW color to the song Well Done Steve & Greg (sounds like you two crafted this new version out)
Jeff Porcaro mightve been the greatest drummer of all time - but Simon Phillips is the best fucking replacement they could possibly find. What a beast!
I love love love the Weather Report jam!! As if it couldn’t get any better. What a great live band, deep in the pocket. Just gorgeous.
Leland Sklar and Simon Philips... OMG
And Greg on keysssss
Simon Phillips is one of the most badass drummers on the planet!
Yeah 🤘🏽🤘🏽
Simon Phillips on Drums? Getting old as you do but he just gets better & better with age...a true master of Drum/Percussion...such an inspirational man!

LOVE THIS VERSION!!! Great arrangement on the front end and the improved Birdland rocks at the end!
Leland Sklar everywhere!!!!! Great bassist of all times!! So many contributions with many artist like Phil Collins, America, Air Supply, Lee Ritenour, The Doors, Neil Diamond, Roger Hodgson....countless!!
